The meeting of All Unions and Associations held at New Delhi today, has decided that massive demonstrations should be organised in front of offices tomorrow, with a view to draw media and public attraction. District unions are requested to organise the programme effectively, in coordination with all the unions and associations. Photos may be sent to the CHQ.
The two day strike taking place on 12th and 13th, December, 2017, called on by the All Unions and Associations of BSNL, will start at 00:00 hrs. on 12-12-2017. The strike will come to an end on 24:00 hrs on 13-12-2017. This decision is taken in the meeting of All Unions and Associations of BSNL, held today.
A meeting of the All Unions and Associations was held at New Delhi today. General Secretaries of BSNLEU, NFTE, SNEA, AIBSNLEA, FNTO, SEWA BSNL, BSNL MS and BSNL OA participated in the meeting. Preparations for the two day strike were reviewed. As per available reports, excellent preparations have been made throughout the country. After discussions, the meeting unanimously resolved to call upon the employees to make the two day strike a cent per cent success.

Shri Bharat Singh Kadian, father of com. M.S.Kadian, circle secretary, BSNLEU, Haryana, passed away yesterday. He was 95 years old, and had been unwell for some time. CHQ conveys it's heartfelt condolences to com.M.S.Kadian, as well as to all his family members.
The meeting was held at Hyderabad and 350 have attended from Hyderabad & all Districts in Telangana. The Circle Secretaries of All Unions & Associations have presided & CHQ Office bearers of Al Unions & Associations have addressed. Gratuity for casual labours.
The Union representatives enquired about the status of gratuity for casual labours pending in the BSNL Board for approval. The GM (Estt.), informed that the Establishment Cell of Corporate Office has written to the circles to give details of financial involvements in this case and even after many reminders, circles like NE-II and Punjab have not submitted the details. Further, following circles have given incomplete informations. Andhra Pradesh, NTR, Gujarat, Maharashtra and J&K. Another reminders to these circles issued on 27.11.2017. After receiving the informations, the issue will be re-submitted to the Board for it’s approval. Our circle secretaries of the above circles are requested to see that the informations are sent without further loss of time.
Special LICE for draughtsman to JTO (Civil/Electrical).
The Union representatives urged the GM (Estt.) to get approval of the Board for holding special LICE for draughtsman to JTO (Civil / Electrical) as assured in the adjourned meeting of the 35th National Council held on 13th November, 2017. The GM (Estt.) informed that the Establishment Cell has already processed the case and forwarded to the BW wing to prepare the Board Memo for delinking the LICE from HR issue and has requested the concerned cell to resubmit draft Board Memo at the earliest.

CHQ is extremely saddened to know that com.Madan Lal Tiwari, a former CHQ office staff of BSNLEU, passed away yesterday (07.12.2017). He was a former BSNL employee of NTR circle, as well a former circle office bearer of BSNLEU. He worked along with leaders like com.H.L.Makkad and com.R.S.Chauhan. After retirement from BSNL service, com.M.L.Tiwari joined as a staff member at the CHQ Office of BSNLEU. Almost for eight years, he worked dedicatedly for BSNLEU, at the CHQ office. Com.M.L.Tiwari maintained close contact with the GS and other office bearers and CHQ office staff members, till the last. Com.Balbir Singh, President, com. Swapan Chakraborty, Dy.GS, com.RS.Chauhan,VP(CHQ) and com. Ramesh Chand,Org.Secretary(CHQ) went to the residence of com.M.L.Tiwari and paid their last respects. BSNLEU pays it's respectful homage to the late comrade, and expresses heartfelt condolences to his family members.

The BSNL Working Women's Coordination Committee, West Bengal circle, organised a women's convention at the CTO, Building, Kolkata, on 12th & 13th December, 2017, to make mobilisation for the two day strike. Com.Shibani Das presided over. Com. Banani Chottopadhyay, National Joint Convener of the Committee, Com Jhumur Bandyopadhyay and Com. As per the call of the Unions and Associations of BSNL , West Bengal, a rally was held in Kolkata today, in support of 2 day strike. The rally was massive and more than four thousand workers and officers took part in it. After the rally, a meeting was held at Esplanade where the leaders of BSNLEU, NFTE, AIBSNLEA, SNEA, SNATTA, AIGETOA, TEU, FNTO and SEWA BSNL addressed the huge gathering. BSNL Employees union, Telangana circle started it's two day Circle Executive Committee meeting at Hyderabad, today. Com.G.Mohan Reddy President and Vice Presidents, are presiding. Com.G.Sambasivarao, ACS, welcomed every one. Along with CEC, a seminar on "The Great October Revolution" was conducted by Telangana circle. Com.M.Saibabu, General Secretaty CITU Telangana state was the main speaker of the seminar. He also spoke on the two days strike, called on by the all unions and associations.
