As per the decision of the Agartala CEC meeting of BSNLEU, the Circle Executive Committee meeting of Bihar circle was held on 20th April, 2018 at Samastipur. The meeting was presided over by com M.K.Singh, circle president. After submission of the draft activities report by Com B.P.Singh, CS, Com Sunithi Choudhury, Organising Secretary (CHQ) and all district secretaries took part in the discussion. Com Swapan Chakraborty ,Dy GS, addressed the meeting and explained the decisions of the Agartala CEC meeting. He spoke elobratedly on the neo-liberal policies, struggles against the Subsidiary Tower Company, Wage Revision and other important issues.The meeting decided to implement the decisions of the Agartala CEC meeting, in Bihar circle. More than 50 circle office bearers and district secretaries attended the meeting.
The AUAB has given the call for conducting the "March to Raj Bhawan" programme on 19-04-2018, demanding the rolling back of the Subsidiary Tower Company. In most of the circles, the call has been successfully implemented. In some states, permission was not granted due to prohibitory orders. In such places alternative programme have been conducted. In many circles, the memorandum has been directly received by the state governors. BSNLEU heartily congratulates all the comrades for successfully implementing the call.
The All Unioins and Associations of BSNL Karnataka Circle organised a fantastic candle light demonstration, in front of Town Hall, Bengaluru on the evening of 19th April 2018. Permission was not granted for March to Raj Bhawan, in view of the election code of discipline. The Governor and ADC did not give appointment, hence the memorandum was submitted in the Governor's office.
The AUAB, Madhya Pradesh circle, conducted March to Raj Bhawan, in the route permitted by the police. A meeting took place between the Governor of Madhya Pradesh and memorandum was submitted. Com.G.L.Jogi, Senior leader, SNEA, who was present in Bhopal, participated. Memorandum was handed over to Her Excellency Governor , Smt Anandi Ben Patel in Governor House, Bhopal. Com G L Jogi, Com Prakash Sharma, CS, BSNLEU, Com Dutta Majumdar, CS, SNEA and Com Parvez, CS, AIBSNLEA were in the delegation. Governor patiently heard our issue and discussed with delegation for almost 15 minutes.
The AUAB, Maharashtra conducted an impressive dharna at Azad Maidan, Mumbai, on 19-04-2018. Permission was denied to conduct March to Raj Bhawan. After observing the dharna, the representatives of the AUAB submitted the memorandum in the Governor's office.
The Rajbhavan March organised by AUAB Kerala Circle was a grand success. Employees participated in the March massively, which started from Meuseum junction. The March was inaugurated by Com. B. Santhoshkumar Circle Secretary BSNLEU and Convener AUAB welcomed the gathering and Com.T.Santhoshkumar Circle Secretary SNEA presided.
The AUAB of Kolkata Telephones circle conducted March to Raj Bhawan yesterday and submitted memorandum to the Governor. After submission of Memorandum, Com. Sisir Roy CS BSNLEU, Comrade Alok Nandi, CS, FNTO, Com. Sekhar Majumdar CS NFTE, Com. Subhasis Mitra CS AIBSNLEA and Com. Soumen Ghosh ACS, addressed the BSNL workers.
As per the call of the All Unions and Associations of BSNL, a procession was conducted at Vijayawada, and memorandum was submitted to the Sub Collector. There is no Rajbhavan in Vijayawada. The governor of Andhra Pradesh is stationed at Hyderabad. Hence, the AUAB of Andhra Pradesh circle, conducted March to Sub-collector's office, and memorandum was submitted to the Sub Collector, with a request for onward transmission to the Governor.
CHQ calls upon the circle and district unions to make the campaign during the March to Sanchar Bhawan, highly visible, so that the general public can understand our problem. Print flex boards, as many as possible, with wordings such as:-
More such slogans can also be printed on flex boards. Also print as many placards as possible, with such slogans. Rolling back of the Subsidiary Tower Company is a life and death matter for us. The Central Executive Committee meeting of our Union, held in Agartala, from 3rd to 5th April,2018, has taken many important decisions with regards to the employees, as well as on strengthening the Union. The CEC meeting has decided that all these decisions should be taken to the grass-root level within the shortest possible time. For this purpose, the CEC meeting has decided that all the circle unions should conduct their circle executive committee meetings by the end of 30th April, and report the decisions. Responsibility has been given to the Central Office bearers to attend the circle executive committee meetings and help the circle Unions to implement the decisions effectively. The CHQ calls upon the circle Unions and the Central Office bearers to accomplish this was task within the time frame decided by the CEC meeting.
The circle executive committee meeting of Kerala was held held today. Com.Manoharan, circle president, presided over the meeting. As per the decision of the Agartala CEC meeting, Com.H.V.Sudharshan, Organising Secretary(CHQ), participated in the meeting. He delivered the inaugural address and reported on the decisions of the Agartala CEC meeting. Com.Santosh Kumar, Circle Secretary, presented the report on activities. Com. M.Vijayakumar, Organising Secretary (CHQ) and Com.K.Mohanan, former circle secretary, also addressed the meeting. This was followed by deliberations by the members of the executive committee. Decisions were taken for the implementation of the decisions of the Agartala CEC.
