The BSNL Corporate Office, vide it's letter dated 11-07-2017, has already categorically given direction that, the decision to handover any office space, vacant land and staff quarters to the DoT, could be taken only by the Corporate Office. It is also stated in that letter that, such allotment of office space, vacant land and staff quarters to the DoT, would be made only without affecting BSNL's present and future requirements. It is seen that in many places, BSNL buildings are being handed over to the DoT, while BSNL offices function in rented buildings in such places. The Corporate Office has once again now reiterated it's earlier order on the matter. All circle and district secretaries are requested to kindly ensure that the BSNL Corporate Office order on the matter is implemented.
