The BSNL Management is inordinately delaying the payment of IDA arrears to the Non-Executives of BSNL. Order was issued by the Hon’ble Kerala High Court on 17.02.2021 itself, directing the CMD BSNL to make payment of the IDA arrears to the Non-Executives of BSNL. However, it took eight long months for the BSNL Management to issue order for the payment. The order for payment of the IDA arrears was issued on 27.10.2021. However, the arrears are still not paid to the Non-Executives. In the letter issued on 27.10.2021 itself, the Management has mentioned that, arrears would be paid only when the funds become available. All these only shows that the BSNL Management is least interested in the welfare of it’s employees. BSNLEU has once again written a letter today to the CMD BSNL, demanding to payment the IDA arrears immediately.
