Wrong fixation of pension of the retired Sr.TOAs of Maharashtra circle - BSNLEU once again writes to the Member (Finance), DoT, seeking early redressal of the grievance.
View FileBSNLEU is taking continuous steps to settle the case of lesser fixation of pension, of some retired Sr.TOAs of Maharashtra circle. This problem has arisen due to the wrong interpretation of rules, related to the OTBP promotions of the Sr.TOA, given some 15 years ago.
Recently, the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare has given a guideline that, the correctness of past emoluments, related to a period earlier than a maximum of 24 months, should not be looked into. Based on these guidelines of the DoP&PW, BSNLEU has once again written to the Member (Finance), DoT, demanding an early settlement of the case.
