BSNLEU writes to Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Communications, requesting to mandate the Central Government Departments, CPSEs, State Government Departments and their PSUs also to avail BSNL’s mobile services.

Recently, the DoT has issued letters, mandating the Central Government Departments, CPSEs, State Government Departments and their PSUs to avail BSNL’s Landline, Broadband and Leased Circuit services. However, the crucial mobile services being provided by BSNL, are not included in the above mandates. Already the entire Railway Department is availing the mobile services of Reliance Jio. Similarly, many CPSEs are availing mobile services of the private operators. Undoubtedly, mobile is the most important technology in the present day communication services. BSNLEU has written to Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Communications, to mandate the Central Government Department, CPSEs, State Government Departments and their PSUs also to avail BSNL’s mobile services.
