View FileBSNL is closing down its landline and broadband connections working on copper cable. In most of the circles, this process is already completed. Consequent to these, the underground copper cables of BSNL have become idle. Copper is a valuable metal. Recovery and sale of these idle copper cables will be bring enormous income to BSNL. In many parts of the country, these idle underground copper cables are being looted by anti- social elements. Hence, BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL today, demanding to take immediate action for the recovery and sale of these idle underground copper cables.
