The Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF has given call for a series of programmes demanding settlement of the issues of Wage Revision, Pension Revision, immediate launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G and other important issues. As per this, Gate Meetings are to be organised on 19.01.2024. The circle and district secretaries are requested to coordinate with AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF Organisations and make the Gate meetings programme successful.

All copper cable based landline connections of BSNL are being converted into fibre based landline connections. However, the BSNL Management is not willing to convert the Free Residential Landline Connections of serving employees and pensioners into fibre based landline connections. The Management intends to abolish the Free Residential Landline Connections of the employees and pensioners. BSNLEU has already opposed this strongly. BSNLEU has demanded that, the copper cable based Free Residential Landline Connections of the employees and pensioners should also be converted into fibre based landline connections. BSNLEU has already written letter to the CMD BSNL on 27.12.2023. Today, once again, BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL insisting upon him to find solution to this issue without delay.

बीएसएनएल के सभी कॉपर केबल आधारित लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन को फाइबर आधारित लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन में बदला जा रहा है। हालाँकि, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन सेवारत कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों के मुफ्त आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन को फाइबर आधारित लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन में बदलने को तैयार नहीं है। प्रबंधन का इरादा कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों के मुफ्त आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन को खत्म करने का है। BSNLEU पहले ही इसका कड़ा विरोध कर चुका है। BSNLEU ने मांग की है कि, कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों के कॉपर केबल आधारित मुफ्त आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन को भी फाइबर आधारित लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन में परिवर्तित किया जाना चाहिए। BSNLEU पहले ही 27.12.2023 को सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिख चुका है। आज एक बार फिर BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर इस मुद्दे का अविलंब समाधान निकालने पर जोर दिया है। 

The serving employees, as well as the pensioners, have been provided with 40% rebate on their FTTH connections. The CHQ of BSNLEU has been informed that, this rebate is withdrawn in Punjab circle. Discussion by the BSNLEU, Punjab circle union, with the CGM, Punjab circle, has not yielded any result. Hence, the CHQ of BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL today, demanding immediate restoration of the 40% rebate on the FTTH connections of the serving employees and pensioners. 

पंजाब सर्कल में कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों के एफटीटीएच कनेक्शन पर 40% छूट वापस ले ली गई - BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखा।

सेवारत कर्मचारियों, साथ ही पेंशनरों को उनके एफटीटीएच कनेक्शन पर 40% की छूट प्रदान की गई है। BSNLEU के सीएचक्यू को सूचित किया गया है कि, पंजाब सर्कल में यह छूट वापस ले ली गई है। BSNLEU, पंजाब सर्कल यूनियन की चीफ जनरल मैनेजर, पंजाब सर्कल के साथ चर्चा का कोई नतीजा नहीं निकला। इसलिए, BSNLEU के सीएचक्यू ने आज सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर सेवारत कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों के एफटीटीएच कनेक्शन पर 40% छूट को तत्काल बहाल करने की मांग की है।

Based on the Consumer Price Index Numbers released by the Labour Bureau on 29-12-2023, BSNLEU had predicted that, the quantum of IDA being received by the employees would decrease by 0.2% w.e.f. 01^st January, 2024. This prediction has proved to be correct. The DPE has issued order yesterday, according to which the IDA that the employees have been receiving has got reduced from 215.6% to 215.4%. Net reduction in the IDA is 0.2%.  

डीपीई ने दिनांक 01.01.2024 से आईडीए कम करने का आदेश जारी किया.

29-12-2023 को श्रम ब्यूरो द्वारा जारी उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक संख्याओं के आधार पर BSNLEU ने अनुमान किया था कि कर्मचारियों को मिल रहे आईडीए की मात्रा 01 जनवरी 2024 से 0.2% कम हो जाएगी. ये अनुमान सच साबित हुआ है. डीपीई ने कल आदेश जारी किया है, जिसके मुताबिक कर्मचारियों को मिलने वाली आईडीए 215.6 फीसदी से घटकर 215.4 फीसदी हो गई है. आईडीए में शुद्ध कमी 0.2% है. आदेश की प्रति संलग्न है. 

The GDL, which is the union of the German train drivers has started a strike at 2 am yesterday, the 10th January, 2024. The strike will go on till 5 pm tomorrow the 12th January, 2024. The German railway workers have organised many strikes in the year 2023. In 2024 also, their strike is continuing. Their main demands are:-

1. Reduction of working hours from 38 to 35 hours per week without corresponding cut in pay. 
2. Monthly pay increase of euro 555 (₹50,428)
3. Inflation compensation bonus.

German working class is demanding only 35 hours of work per week. But, in India, corporates like Narayana Murthy are telling that, Indian workers should work for 70 hours per week. The Modi government has changed the Labour Laws, denying the right to go on strike.

जर्मन ट्रेन ड्राइवर वेतन वृद्धि और काम के घंटे कम करने की मांग को लेकर हड़ताल पर हैं।

जीडीएल, जो जर्मन ट्रेन ड्राइवरों का यूनियन है, ने कल 10 जनवरी, 2024 को सुबह 2 बजे हड़ताल शुरू कर दी है। हड़ताल कल 12 जनवरी, 2024 को शाम 5 बजे तक चलेगी। जर्मन रेलवे कर्मचारियों ने साल 2023 में कई हड़तालें की हैं। 2024 में भी उनकी हड़ताल जारी है। उनकी मुख्य मांगें हैं :

1. वेतन में कटौती के बिना, काम के घंटों को प्रति सप्ताह 38 से घटाकर 35 घंटे करना।
2. ⁠यूरो 555 (₹50,428) की मासिक वेतन वृद्धि। 
3. ⁠मुद्रास्फीति क्षतिपूर्ति बोनस। 

जर्मन मजदूर वर्ग प्रति सप्ताह केवल 35 घंटे काम की मांग कर रहा है। लेकिन, भारत में नारायण मूर्ति जैसे कॉरपोरेट कह रहे हैं कि, भारतीय कामगारों को प्रति सप्ताह 70 घंटे काम करना चाहिए। मोदी सरकार ने श्रम कानूनों में बदलाव कर श्रमिक वर्ग को हड़ताल पर जाने का अधिकार नहीं दिया है। 

With the view to familiarise the usage of Social Media tools, especially Twitter, among the members of BSNLEU, the CHQ organised an online programme in Hindi yesterday. Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, BSNLEU, elaborately explained about the usage of Social Media tools, especially Twitter. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, explained how Twitter can be used to mobilise public opinion in favour of BSNL and its employees. However, CHQ noted that only 138 comrades attended this meeting. Comparatively 310 comrades of the non-Hindi speaking circles attended the English programme held on 09.01.2024. BSNLEU will continue to take steps to popularise the usage of Social Media tools among members, with the view to use them in favour of BSNL and the employees.

BSNLEU के सदस्यों के बीच सोशयल मीडिया टूल, विशेषकर ट्विटर के उपयोग को परिचित कराने की दृष्टि से सीएचक्यू ने कल हिंदी में एक ऑनलाइन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। साथी जॉन वर्गीस, उप महासचिव, BSNLEU ने सोशयल मीडिया टूल्स, खासकर ट्विटर के उपयोग के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने बताया कि बीएसएनएल और उसके कर्मचारियों के पक्ष में जनता की राय जुटाने के लिए ट्विटर का उपयोग कैसे किया जा सकता है। हालाँकि, सीएचक्यू ने बताया कि इस बैठक में केवल 138 साथी ही शामिल हुए। दिनांक 09.01.2024 को आयोजित अंग्रेजी कार्यक्रम में गैर-हिंदी भाषी सर्कल के 310 साथियों ने भाग लिया। BSNLEU सदस्यों के बीच सोशल मीडिया टूल्स के उपयोग को लोकप्रिय बनाने के लिए कदम उठाना जारी रखेगा, ताकि उनका उपयोग बीएसएनएल और कर्मचारियों के पक्ष में किया जा सके।

BSNLEU is continuously taking up the problems being faced by the DR JEs, in applying for and getting transfer under Rule 8. In one such case, BSNLEU has written letter to the PGM(Estt.) BSNL CO. In this case, a DR JE applied for Rule 8 transfer to a Shortage circle. However, the circle has become a Surplus circle thereafter. Consequent to this, the DR JE is unable to get the transfer. BSNLEU has written letter suggesting that, the DR JE should be considered for Rule 8 transfer to some other Shortage Circle, by retaining the date and seniority of his earlier transfer application. 

डीआर जेई द्वारा नियम 8 स्थानांतरण लागू करने में समस्या उत्पन्न हुई - BSNLEU ने प्रिन्सिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा.), बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस को पत्र लिखा।

BSNLEU नियम 8 के तहत स्थानांतरण के लिए आवेदन करने और स्थानांतरण प्राप्त करने में डीआर जेई के सामने आने वाली समस्याओं को लगातार उठा रहा है। ऐसे ही एक मामले में BSNLEU ने प्रिन्सिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा.) बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस को पत्र लिखा है। इस मामले में, एक डीआर जेई द्वारा शॉर्टेज सर्कल में नियम 8 स्थानांतरण के लिए आवेदन किया गया। हालाँकि, उसके बाद यह सर्कल सरप्लस सर्कल बन गया है। इसके चलते डीआर जेई को स्थानांतरण नहीं मिल पा रहा है। BSNLEU ने पत्र लिखकर सुझाव दिया है कि डीआर जेई को उसके पिछले स्थानांतरण आवेदन की तिथि और वरिष्ठता को बरकरार रखते हुए नियम 8 के तहत किसी अन्य शॉर्टेज सर्कल में स्थानांतरण के लिए विचार किया जाना चाहिए।

Four ATTs of Telangana circle, who have got qualified in the recently conducted TT LICE, have been ordered to undergo TT induction training at ZTTC-Kalyani. Since it is a far away place from Telangana circle, all the four candidates have requested for change of training centre from ZTTC Kalyani to ZTTC Pune. BSNLEU has written letter to the GM(Rectt.) today, requesting to consider their request.

Shri Vipin Soni, JE, Haryana circle, has recently been promoted as JTO and is posted in Chennai circle. The official is seeking reversion from JTO to JE  cadre and also posting back in Rewari BA of Haryana Circle, on account of health and domestic problems. BSNLEU has written letter to the Director HR, seeking settlement of the issue.

स्वास्थ्य आधार पर जेटीओ से जेई कैडर में वापसी का अनुरोध - BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखा। 

श्री विपिन सोनी, जेई, हरियाणा सर्कल को हाल ही में जेटीओ के रूप में पदोन्नत किया गया है और चेन्नई सर्कल में तैनात किया गया है। यह कर्मचारी स्वास्थ्य और घरेलू समस्याओं के कारण जेटीओ से जेई कैडर में वापसी और हरियाणा सर्कल के रेवाड़ी बीए में वापस पोस्टिंग की मांग कर रहा है। BSNLEU ने निदेशक ( मानव संसाधन ) को पत्र लिखकर मामले के समाधान की मांग की है। 

BSNLEU will be organising a programme in Hindi today, on familiarisation of Social Media. This programme will be conducted online. The link for this programme is already circulated on WhatsApp. All the circle and district secretaries are requested to ensure participation by maximum number of comrades. The programme will start at 07:00 pm.

The CHQ of BSNLEU successfully organised an online programme yesterday, to familiarise the usage of Social Media, especially Twitter to our comrades. This programme was meant for the non-Hindi speaking circles and was conducted in English. 310 comrades participated. Com.Neelambaran, Journalist, participated in this programme and explained about the various Social Media platforms. Especially, he explained at length about the usage of Twitter. The programme has greatly benefitted the participants. CHQ heartily thanks all the comrades who have participated and made the programme a success.
