नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए GTI लागू करने हेतु BSNL द्वारा LIC के साथ MoU पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए...

BSNLEU द्वारा हर्ष के साथ सूचित किया जाता है कि  डायरेक्टर (HR) द्वारा BSNL के नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए ग्रुप टर्म इन्शुरन्स (GTI) लागू करने की घोषणा की गई। उन्होंने आज जारी किए गए पत्र के माध्यम से सूचित किया कि नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए यह GTI लागू करने हेतु BSNL द्वारा LIC के साथ MoU पर हस्ताक्षर कर दिए गए हैं। इस GTI के तहत आश्वासित राशि (sum assured) रु 20 लाख होगी। 50 वर्ष तक की आयु वाले कर्मचारियों को रु 3,776/- वार्षिक प्रीमियम देना होगा और 50 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वाले कर्मचारियों के लिए यह राशि रु 18,172/- होगी।   यह राशि वर्ष में एक बार वेतन से देय होगी। BSNL, LIC का कॉर्पोरेट ग्राहक होने की वजह से इस योजना हेतु वार्षिक प्रीमियम काफी कम रखा गया है।  BSNLEU द्वारा लंबे समय से नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए यह योजना शीघ्र लागू करने हेतु आवश्यक कदम उठाने के लिए प्रबंधन पर पुरजोर तरीके से दबाव निर्मित किया जाता रहा है। अतः, यह योजना लागू किए जाने पर, BSNLEU,  सभी नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज को हार्दिक बधाई देती है। 

BSNLEU gladly informs that, the Director (HR) has announced the implementation of the Group Term Insurance (GTI) for the Non-Executives of BSNL. He has informed through the letter issued today that, the BSNL Management has signed an MoU with the LIC, for the implementation of this GTI. The sum assured under this GTI will be Rs.20 lakh. The annual premium payable by employees up to 50 years of age will be Rs.3,776/- and for the employees beyond 50 years of age, it will be Rs.18,172/-. This amount will be payable through salary once in a year. The annual premium for this policy is low, since BSNL is an important corporate customer of the LIC. BSNLEU has all along been strongly pressing the Management to take steps for the early implementation of this scheme to the Non-Executives. Hence, BSNLEU heartily congratulates all the Non-Executives for the implementation of this scheme. 

The agitating farmers organised a massive tractor parade at New Delhi on the Republic Day. Lakhs of tractors reportedly have participated in this tractor parade, which has taken place in a disciplined manner, by and large. However, the corporate media has downplayed this historic event and has not given the due importance in publishing news about it. After successfully organising this parade yesterday, the farmers have returned to their original places of protest and have announced that, they would continue with their agitation till the anti-farmer Acts are withdrawn. BSNLEU assures it's total support for all the future agitations of the farmers.

CHQ has come to know belatedly that, Com.O.P. Khatak, former Circle President of E-III(N), has passed away. CHQ also came to know that, he has been unwell for quite some time. The CHQ thankfully remembers that, Com.O.P. Khatak, has played an important role in organising E-III(N) and BSNLEU in Haryana circle. BSNLEU pays it’s respectful homage to Com.O.P. Khatak and conveys heartfelt condolences to the members of the family of Com.O.P. Khatak.

26th January, 1950 is the day on which the Constitution of India came into force and the Country became a Republic. India is a nation with many regions, races, relegions, languages and cultures. The Constitution has recognised this and has ensured unity in diversity. This spirit is the strength of India. But, today, we see hatred is being spread in the name of God. People are being devided in the name of religion. Hate politics has become the order of the day. All these are against the spirit of our Constitution. BSNLEU, while conveying it's best wishes and warm greetings to all on the occasion of the Republic Day, calls upon all, to uphold the spirit of the Constitution and the unity of our nation. 

In the Revival Package decided by the Union Cabinet in October, 2019, it has been stated that BSNL MTNL merger will take place. It is also mentioned that, MTNL will become a subsidiary of BSNL. May be, in accordance with this decision of the Cabinet, recently it was decided that BSNL would operate and maintain mobile services in the MTNL areas of Delhi and Mumbai. Under these circumstances, the six-member Group of Ministers (GoM) has concluded that, the merger of BSNL and MTNL would be neither beneficial nor feasible. The Union Cabinet is to take a final decision on this issue.

As a part of the ongoing farmers’ agitation, demanding withdrawal of the anti-farmer and pro-corporate Farm Acts, the farmers will be holding a tractor rally in the National Capital tomorrow. The government tried to stop this rally sought for the same from the Supreme Court. However, the Supreme Court did not stay the rally and told that, the government could take it's decision. It is important to note that, there would be no chief guest in this years’ Republic Day Parade. This Republic Day Kisans’ Tractor Parade will go down as an important event in the history of our Republic.

IDA फ्रीजिंग के विरोध में BSNLEU का प्रकरण - महासचिव की अधिवक्ता से चर्चा....

DPE द्वारा यह स्पष्टीकरण जारी किया जा चुका है कि IDA फ्रीजिंग नॉन-एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए लागू नही है। किन्तु साथ ही, DPE ने अभी तक 01.10.2020 से  5.5% IDA और  01.01.2021 से  6.1% IDA के भुगतान हेतु पत्र जारी नही किया है। आज, कॉम पी अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने माननीय केरल उच्च न्यायालय में IDA फ्रीजिंग के विरोध में BSNLEU द्वारा दायर प्रकरण की पैरवी कर रहे अधिवक्ता श्री व्ही व्ही सुरेश से चर्चा की। महासचिव ने उनसे यह सुनिश्चित करने हेतु अनुरोध किया कि, माननीय केरल उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा, IDA की दो किश्तों के भुगतान करने हेतु आदेश जारी करने के स्पष्ट निर्देश DPE को दिए जाएं। अधिवक्ता ने बताया कि, यह उनके द्वारा माननीय केरल उच्च न्यायालय के संज्ञान में लाया जा चुका है। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि अगले सप्ताह हमारे प्रकरण पर सुनवाई होने की संभावना है। 

The DPE has already issued clarification that, IDA freezing is not applicable to the Non-Executives. At the same time, the DPE has so far not issued letter for the payment of 5.5% IDA w.e.f. 01.10.2020 and 6.1% IDA w.e.f. 01.01.2021. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Shri V.V. Suresh, advocate, arguing BSNLEU’s case against IDA freezing in the Hon’ble Kerala High Court. The General Secretary requested the advocate to ensure that, a specific direction is given to the DPE, by the Hon’ble Kerala High Court, that order should be issued for the payment of two instalments of IDA. The advocate stated that, he has already brought this to the notice of the Hon’ble Court. Further, he stated that our case is likely to come up for hearing next week.

In the recent past, the CHQ of BSNLEU has taken up the following cases related to the Consolidation of Business Areas. 

(1)    Cancellation of the transfers of five Non-Executives, from Nagaon SSA to Tezpur SSA, in Assam circle.

(2)    Bringing Cuddapha SSA under Chittoor Business Area, instead of Ananthapur Business Area.

(3)    Nagaon SSA should not be brought under Tezpur Business Area.

Consequent to the immediate intervention of the CHQ, the transfers of the five Non-Executives from Nagaon SSA to Tezpur SSA has been stopped. However, as regards bringing Cuddapha SSA under the Chittoor Business Area and allowing the Nagaon SSA to continue as a separate SSA, without being brought under the Tezpur Business Area, have not been accepted by the Corporate Office, which has conveyed this to BSNLEU, vide it’s letter no. BSNL letter no.BSNL/39-1/SR/2020 dated 20.01.2021.

BSNLEU द्वारा, वेतन के समय पर भुगतान की मांग करते हुए देशभर में प्रभावशाली विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित...

BSNLEU द्वारा आज, कर्मचारियों को वेतन के समय पर भुगतान की मांग करते हुए देशभर में प्रभावशाली विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित किए गए। BSNLEU द्वारा प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आव्हान करने के बाद, कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस द्वारा ताबड़तोब दिसंबर,2020 के वेतन भुगतान हेतु फंड्स जारी किए गए। बावजूद इसके, मैनेजमेंट की समय पर वेतन वितरण की विफलता के प्रति आक्रोश व्यक्त करने में कर्मचारी रुके नही। कंपनी का मासिक राजस्व रु 1,500 करोड़ है। जबकि वेतन पर होने वाला खर्च मात्र रु 450 करोड़ है। फिर भी, मैनेजमेंट, हर माह, समय पर वेतन भुगतान न कर कर्मचारियों के पेट पर लात मार रहा है।

CHQ, सभी सर्किल और डिस्ट्रिक्ट यूनियन्स को आज सफल प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने के लिए तहे दिल से बधाई देता है। इसके साथ ही, CHQ आश्वस्त करता है कि, वेतन के निर्धारित तिथि पर वेतन वितरण हेतु मैनेजमेंट पर दबाव निर्मित करने के लिए वह हर संभव प्रयास करेगा।

BSNLEU organised impressive demonstrations throughout the country today, demanding on time disbursement of salary to the employees. After a call was given by BSNLEU for organising demonstrations, the Corporate Office hurriedly released funds today, for disbursement of December, 2020, salary. However, this did not deter the employees expressing their anger against the failure of the Management to make on time disbursement of salary. The Company’s monthly revenue collection is Rs.1,500 crores. Whereas, expenditure for payment of net salary comes to only Rs.450 crore. Still, the Management is hitting the workers in the stomach every month, by not disbursing the salary on the due date. 

The CHQ heartily congratulates all the circle and district unions for organising successful demonstrations today. At the same time, the CHQ assures that it will take all out efforts to pressurise the Management for the disburse salary on the due date. 

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), in a letter written to the Information and Technology Minister, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, has demanded that the government should restrict Whatsapp from implementing it’s New Privacy Policy, or impose a ban on WhatsApp and it’s parent company Facebook. The CAIT claimed that through the New Privacy Policy, all kinds of personal data, payment transactions, contacts, locations and other vital informations of a person, who is using WhatsApp, will be acquired and it can be used for any purpose by WhatsApp.

The Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has announced in the state Assembly that, his government will strongly intervene against the centre’s decision to privatise various Public Sector Enterprises like the Railways, Electricity and Defence Sectors. The Chief Minister told the Assembly that the Central Government was keen to privatise the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), the largest oil marketing and oil refinery, which includes the Kochi Refinery Ltd.  He stated the privatisation of BPCL would impact the future Petro Chemical Industry in the state. Shri Pinarayi Vijayan also stated that the Kerala State government had strongly opposed the sale of stakes of the Hindustan News Print in Kottayam, however the Centre went ahead with it’s plans. Shri Pinarayi Vijayan also told the Assembly that the Centre is turning a blind-eye to the protests taking place across the country against it’s wrong policies.

कल के लंच घंटे के प्रदर्शनों को सफलतापूर्वक व्यवस्थित करें। 

बीएसएनएलईयू ने दिसबंर, 2020 के वेतन के तत्काल भुगतान की मांग करते हुए कल 21-01-2021 को लंच ऑवर प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है। सभी सर्कल और जिला संघों से एक बार फिर अधिक से अधिक संख्या में कर्मचारियों को जुटाकर इस कार्यक्रम को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करने का अनुरोध किया गया है।

BSNLEU has already given call for organising lunch hour demonstrations on 21.01.2021, protesting against the non-payment of the salary for the month of December, 2020 and also demanding it’s immediate payment. All circle and district unions are requested to mobilise the employees in full strength and to organise the lunch hour demonstrations successfully.

CHQ is planning to hold the next Central Executive Committee meeting of our Union as a physical meeting, instead of an online meeting. An appropriate place for holding this meeting is being looked into. The meeting will be held either in the last week of February or in the first week of March. The exact venue and date of the meeting will be informed shortly. CEC members are requested to kindly make note of this.

21.01.2021 को, वेतन के तुरंत भुगतान की मांग को लेकर भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शन आयोजित करें...

BSNLEU द्वारा निरंतर रूप से कर्मचारियों को समय पर वेतन देने के मुद्दे को उठाया जा रहा है। इस संबंध में, CMD BSNL  को बार बार पत्र लिखे जा रहे हैं। अभी हाल ही में, मकर संक्रांति और पोंगल जैसे प्रमुख त्यौहारों के मद्दे नजर दिसंबर, 2020 के वेतन भुगतान की मांग करते हुए BSNLEU द्वारा CMD BSNL को पत्र लिखा गया था। लेकिन मैनेजमेंट पर इसका कोई असर नही हुआ। अतः,  BSNLEU के ऑल इंडिया सेन्टर ने, 21.01.2021 को दिसंबर, 2020 के वेतन के तुरंत भुगतान और साथ ही जनवरी, 2021 के वेतन के समय पर भुगतान की मांग को लेकर भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है। सभी सर्किल और डिस्ट्रिक्ट यूनियन्स से अनुरोध है कि  21.01.2021 को भोजनावकाश में प्रभावी प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने हेतु गंभीरता के साथ प्रयास करें।
