It is important to note that, for the second consecutive month, BSNL has added more mobile customers then Airtel. In August 2025 also, BSNL has added more number of mobile customers than Airtel.

बीएसएनएल ने सितंबर 2025 में भी एयरटेल से ज़्यादा मोबाइल कस्टमर्स जोड़े।

TRAI द्वारा जारी डेटा के अनुसार, बीएसएनएल ने सितंबर 2025 के महीने में 5.24 लाख नए मोबाइल कस्टमर्स जोड़े हैं। Jio ने 32.49 लाख नए मोबाइल कस्टमर्स जोड़े हैं। एयरटेल ने 4.37 लाख नए मोबाइल कस्टमर्स जोड़े हैं। वोडाफोन आइडिया ने 7.44 लाख मोबाइल कस्टमर्स खो दिए। यह ध्यान देने वाली बात है कि लगातार दूसरे महीने बीएसएनएल ने एयरटेल से ज़्यादा मोबाइल कस्टमर्स जोड़े हैं। अगस्त 2025 में भी, बीएसएनएल ने एयरटेल से ज़्यादा मोबाइल कस्टमर्स जोड़े थे।

Special meetings on Wage revision agreement was conducted at Trivandrum on 23-10-2025. Com.K.K. Jayachandran, State Vice President, CITU, inaugurated the meeting. M. Vijayakumar, All India President, explained about the Wage Revision Agreement. AIBDPA, BSNLEU, BSNL CCLU comrades attended the meeting. On 17.10.2025, a special meeting was held at Thrissur. All India President Com.M.Vijayakumar explained the issue in detail. Circle President Beena John also addressed the meeting. On 16.10.2025, a special meeting was also conducted in Kannur. All India President M.Vijayakumar spoke on Wage revision agreement and connected issues. The meeting was addressed by Com.K.Mohan, CP, AIBDPA, Com.P.Manoharan, Former Org.Secretary (CHQ) and Com. P.V.Ramadasan, DS, Kannur.

We have received the information and the photos of the celebrations and explanatory meetings on wage agreement in Tamil Nadu Circle. It is reported that, out of 17 SSAs, meetings and celebrations were held in 11 SSAs. Circle unions are taking proper action to hold the programme in remaining 6 SSAs.

It has come to our notice that, the Management in different circles is allegedly extracting duties meant for the Executives from the Junior Engineers (JEs), which is considered an unfair labour practice. BSNLEU has repeatedly raised this issue emphasising the need to define the duties and the responsibilities of the Non-Executive cadres, including the JE. BSNLEU’s strong stands aims to protect the interest of the JEs and ensure that they are not compelled to perform duties beyond their role. BSNLEU has written a letter to the BSNL Management for taking proper action in this regard. 

जेई से एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन - BSNLEU ने इस अनुचित श्रम प्रथा को रोकने के लिए अपनी पुरज़ोर आवाज़ उठाई। 

हमारे संज्ञान में आया है कि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में प्रबंधन कथित तौर पर जूनियर इंजीनियरों (जेई) से एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए निर्धारित कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन कर रहा है, जिसे अनुचित श्रम प्रथा माना जाता है। BSNLEU ने जेई सहित नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव संवर्गों के कर्तव्यों और ज़िम्मेदारियों को परिभाषित करने की आवश्यकता पर बल देते हुए इस मुद्दे को बार-बार उठाया है। BSNLEU के कड़े रुख का उद्देश्य जेई के हितों की रक्षा करना और यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि उन्हें अपनी भूमिका से परे कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन करने के लिए बाध्य न किया जाए। BSNLEU ने इस संबंध में उचित कार्रवाई करने के लिए बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन को एक पत्र लिखा है।

The Central Government employees and also employees of the PSUs, posted in Kashmir Valley, are being paid with a Special Concessions / Incentives. BSNL employees posted in Kashmir Valley are also being paid this allowance. The DoP&T is issuing orders for the extension of this allowance from time to time. The latest extension letter was issued by the DoP&T on 24.02.2025 and the DoT has endorsed it on 03.03.2025. BSNLEU has already written two letters to the Corporate Office demanding to issue necessary approval, for the payment of Special Concessions / Incentives to BSNL employees. BSNLEU is continuously discussing this issue with the CMD BSNL, Director (HR) and the PGM(Estt.). Due to the denial of payment of this allowance, BSNL employees posted in Kashmir Valley have got frustrated. Today, BSNLEU has written one more letter to the CMD BSNL, demanding the immediate issuing of approval for the payment of Special Concessions / Incentives to the BSNL employees working in Kashmir Valley.

कश्मीर घाटी में तैनात बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को विशेष रियायतें/प्रोत्साहन देने से इनकार - BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को एक और पत्र लिखा।

केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों और कश्मीर घाटी में तैनात सार्वजनिक उपक्रमों के कर्मचारियों को विशेष रियायतें/प्रोत्साहन दिए जा रहे हैं। कश्मीर घाटी में तैनात बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को भी यह भत्ता दिया जा रहा है। कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग समय-समय पर इस भत्ते के विस्तार के आदेश जारी कर रहा है। कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा नवीनतम विस्तार पत्र 24.02.2025 को जारी किया गया था और दूरसंचार विभाग ने 03.03.2025 को इसे अनुमोदित कर दिया है। BSNLEU ने बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को विशेष रियायतें/प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए आवश्यक अनुमोदन जारी करने की मांग करते हुए कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय को पहले ही दो पत्र लिखे हैं। BSNLEU इस मुद्दे पर सीएमडी बीएसएनएल, निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) और प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (स्थापना) के साथ लगातार चर्चा कर रहा है। इस भत्ते के भुगतान से इनकार किए जाने के कारण कश्मीर घाटी में तैनात बीएसएनएल कर्मचारी निराश हैं। आज, BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को एक और पत्र लिखकर कश्मीर घाटी में कार्यरत बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को विशेष रियायतें/प्रोत्साहन राशि के भुगतान हेतु तत्काल स्वीकृति जारी करने की मांग की है।

Shri Jeet Ram Thakur, who is presently working as Junior Engineer in Himachal Pradesh circle, has requested CHQ for taking needful action for issuing Presidential Order on the analogy of the contents of the DoP&PW letter no.57/05/2021-P&PW(B) dated 03^rd March, 2023 and also endorsed by the DoT vide it’s letter no.36-03/2019-PEN(T) dated 17.04.2023. CHQ has taken up the issue and written a letter to the Secretary, DoT, for issuing the Presidential Order on the plea that the official had recruited in BSNL against the vacancy notified before formation of BSNL.

हिमाचल प्रदेश सर्कल के जूनियर इंजीनियर श्री जीत राम ठाकुर को प्रेसिडेंशियल अवार्ड जारी करने के संबंध में - सीएचक्यू ने दूरसंचार विभाग के सचिव को पत्र लिखा।

श्री जीत राम ठाकुर, जो वर्तमान में हिमाचल प्रदेश सर्कल में कनिष्ठ अभियंता के पद पर कार्यरत हैं, ने सीएचक्यू से अनुरोध किया है कि वह डीओपीएंडपीडब्ल्यू के पत्र संख्या 57/05/2021-पीएंडपीडब्ल्यू(बी) दिनांक 03 मार्च, 2023 की विषयवस्तु के अनुरूप प्रेसिडेंशियल अवार्ड जारी करने के लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई करे, जिसे दूरसंचार विभाग ने अपने पत्र संख्या 36-03/2019-पीईएन(टी) दिनांक 17.04.2023 द्वारा भी समर्थन दिया है। सीएचक्यू ने इस मुद्दे को उठाया है और सचिव, दूरसंचार विभाग को इस तर्क पर प्रेसिडेंशियल आर्डर जारी करने के लिए एक पत्र लिखा है कि अधिकारी ने बीएसएनएल के गठन से पहले अधिसूचित रिक्ति के विरुद्ध बीएसएनएल में भर्ती की थी।

It is estimated that the IDA will increase by 6.2% w.e.f 01-10-2025 for BSNL employees. However, so far, the DPE has not issued order for the payment of this IDA increase. Normally, the DPE will issue order to all Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) expeditiously. In view of the delay in issuing order by the DPE, BSNLEU has written letter to the Secretary, DPE, today, requesting him to take early steps for the issuing of order by the DPE for the payment of IDA increase w.e.f 01-10- 2025.

The government’s recent unveiling of the “Draft National Labour Employment Policy - Shram Shakti NITI-2025”, has sparked widespread criticism from the trade unions. The policy released on 08th October, 2025, without consultation of the central trade unions during the drafting of the new policy. The policy is seen as favouring employer profits over workers right and social security. The trade unions are in the opinion that, it will be a serious challenge for the working class particularly on the issue of defining working conditions, rights for fundamental activities of the workers, minimum wage and also social securities. According to their opinion, this new policy may dilute existing labour laws and regulations and due to lack of robust social security measures may lead to increase exploitation of the workers. The trade unions had vowed to fight against the Shram Shakti NITI-2025 policy, emphasising the need for a united struggle to protect workers right.

श्रम शक्ति नीति-2025 नीति लागू करने का मोदी सरकार का साहसिक प्रयास - मज़दूर वर्ग एकजुट होकर विरोध करेगा।

सरकार द्वारा हाल ही में "राष्ट्रीय श्रम रोज़गार नीति का मसौदा - श्रम शक्ति नीति-2025" जारी किए जाने की ट्रेड यूनियनों ने व्यापक आलोचना की है। नई नीति के प्रारूपण के दौरान केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों से परामर्श किए बिना ही यह नीति 8 अक्टूबर, 2025 को जारी कर दी गई। इस नीति को मज़दूरों के अधिकारों और सामाजिक सुरक्षा की बजाय नियोक्ता के मुनाफ़े को तरजीह देने वाली नीति के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। ट्रेड यूनियनों का मानना ​​है कि यह मज़दूर वर्ग के लिए एक गंभीर चुनौती होगी, खासकर काम करने की परिस्थितियों को परिभाषित करने, मज़दूरों के बुनियादी कार्यों के अधिकार, न्यूनतम मज़दूरी और सामाजिक सुरक्षा के मुद्दे पर। उनकी राय में, यह नई नीति मौजूदा श्रम कानूनों और नियमों को कमज़ोर कर सकती है और मज़बूत सामाजिक सुरक्षा उपायों की कमी के कारण मज़दूरों का शोषण बढ़ सकता है। ट्रेड यूनियनों ने मज़दूरों के अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए एकजुट संघर्ष की आवश्यकता पर ज़ोर देते हुए श्रम शक्ति नीति-2025 नीति के ख़िलाफ़ लड़ने का संकल्प लिया था।

13^th National Convention of All India Working Women (CITU) will be held at Hyderabad on 01^st – 02^nd November, 2025. Three comrades from BSNLEU will be attending this Convention. Com.Jyothilakshmi from Kerala, Com.Amitha Naik from Maharashtra and Com.Padmavathy from Telangana are the delegates who are attending this Convention from BSNLEU. It is also appreciable that the BSNLEU, Telangana circle has collected Rs.20,000/- from 55 lady comrades as donation to make the All India Convention a grand success.  

BSNLEU  के प्रतिनिधि हैदराबाद में एआईडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी (सीटू) के अखिल भारतीय अधिवेशन में भाग लेंगे।

एआईडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी (सीटू) का 13वां राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन 1-2 नवंबर, 2025 को हैदराबाद में आयोजित किया जाएगा। BSNLEU की तीन साथी इस अधिवेशन में भाग लेंगी। केरल से साथी  ज्योतिलक्ष्मी, महाराष्ट्र से साथी  अमिता नाइक और तेलंगाना से साथी  पद्मावती BSNLEU की ओर से इस अधिवेशन में भाग ले रही हैं। यह भी सराहनीय है कि BSNLEU, तेलंगाना सर्कल ने अखिल भारतीय अधिवेशन को सफल बनाने के लिए 55 महिला साथियों से 20,000 रुपये का दान एकत्र किया है।

BSNL Management has decided to introduce the National Pension System (NPS) for BSNL recruited employees, replacing the existing superannuation pension fund with LIC of India. It was discussed with the leaders of unions and associations on 25^th August, 2025 and the Corporate Office has formed a Committee to examine the pros and corns of the new system. The Management has shared documents on NPS salient feature from LIC and HDFC Pension Management Ltd. A letter has also issued to the unions and associations for their opinions on this subject.

The CHQ of BSNLEU has given call to organise country wide special meetings for explaining the Wage Revision Agreement signed on 08-10-2025. Accepting this call, the Hyderabad Telecom District Union has taken serious efforts for organising a very good special meeting at Hyderabad on 17/10/2025. A good number of comrades attended this meeting. Com.J.Sampath Rao, AGS & CP Telangana circle, addressed the meeting and explained the various aspects of the Wage Revision Agreement. The meeting was also addressed by Com.Sambasiva Rao, CS, Com.Sushil Kumar, DS, Com.Ramachandrudu, CS, AIBDPA and many other leaders.
