Public sector assets are the wealth of the Nation. They belong to the people. But the Narendra Modi government is brazenly and generously carrying out the job of handing over all these peoples wealth to the big corporates. As a part of this decision, the Modi government has already taken the decision to hand over six airports to Adani Group. All these airports are developed with people’s money. Thiruvananthapuram international airport is one among those 6 airports. The Kerala government is stiffly opposing the handing over of the Thiruvananthapuram airport to the private. Instead of handing over to the Adani Group, the Kerala government wants to take over this airport. But it is not accepted by the Union government. Under these circumstances, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, has told the state assembly yesterday that, the Kerala government would resist the union government’s move to hand over the Thiruvananthapuram airport to the Adani Group. Further, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has also cautioned that, no private player can mange the airport, without the cooperation and support of the state government.
"Hats off to Shri Pinarayi Vijayan."
