As per the call of the coordination committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNL CCWF, the various district unions of Andhra Pradesh circle are organising signature campaign, against the national monetisation pipeline. CHQ heartily congratulates the AP Circle union, as well as the district Unions.

BSNLEU is continuously seeking amendments to the JAO recruitment rules, by removing certain clauses which are adverse to the JAO aspirants. BSNLEU is taking up this issue for the past few years. Lastly, the issue was discussed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, with Shri P.K.Purwar, CMD BSNL on 24.12.2021 also. The CMD BSNL also assured to take appropriate action. Based on this, the management has prepared a draft JAO recruitment rules now and has sought the views of BSNLEU. The draft JAO RR is enclosed. Circle secretaries and CHQ office bearers are requested to email their views on bsnleuchq@gmail.com latest by 16-02-2022.

As has already been informed, the next meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee will be held at 2:00 PM on 04.03.2022. Corporate Office has issued notification for the same, which is enclosed.

कृषि कामगार संघ के लिए 5/- रुपये एकत्र करना ।

बीएसएनएलईयू के अखिल भारतीय केन्द्र के निर्णय के अनुसार, कृषि कामगार संघ को दान के रूप में सदस्यों और शुभचिंतकों से 5/- रुपये एकत्र करने के लिए पहले ही आह्वान किया गया है। दिनांक 15 फरवरी, 2022 को इस दान को पूरा करने की अंतिम तिथि है। सर्किल और जिला यूनियनों से अनुरोध है कि वे यह सुनिश्चित करें कि यह लक्ष्य तिथि से पहले सदस्यों और शुभचिंतकों से सीधे दान एकत्र किया जाए और सीएचक्यू को भेजा जाए। 

 राष्ट्रीय मुद्रीकरण पाइपलाइन के खिलाफ हस्ताक्षर अभियान ।

बीएसएनएलईयू, एआईबीडीपीए, और बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ की समन्वय समिति ने दिनांक 10.02.2022 से एक सप्ताह के लिए हस्ताक्षर अभियान चलाने का आह्वान किया है। अभी तक एक-दो सर्किलों से रिपोर्ट प्राप्त हुई है। सभी सर्किल और जिला यूनियनों से अनुरोध है कि वे हस्ताक्षर अभियान को जोर-शोर से चलाएं और इसे लक्ष्य तिथि के भीतर पूरा करें। 

सामान्य हड़ताल के लिए पोस्टर जिला यूनियनों को भेजे गए है ।

सीएचक्यू ने 28 और 29 मार्च, 2022 को आयोजित होने वाली सामान्य हड़ताल के आयोजन के लिए अंग्रेजी और हिंदी में पोस्टर मुद्रित किए हैं। इन पोस्टरों में केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के मांगपत्र और बीएसएनएलईयू की मांगों को शामिल किया गया है । पोस्टर पहले से ही सीधे जिला यूनियनों को भेजे गए हैं। सर्कल यूनियनों से अनुरोध किया जाता है कि वे यह सुनिश्चित करें कि पोस्टर वितरण के तुरंत बाद प्रदर्शित किए जाएं। 

As per the decision of the All India Centre of BSNLEU, call has already been given for collection of Rs.5/- from members and well-wishers as donation to the Agricultural Workers Union. 15^th February, 2022, is the last date for completion of this donation. Circle and district unions are requested to ensure that the donation is directly collected from members and well-wishers before the target date and sent to the CHQ. 

The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, has given call to conduct signature campaign for one week from 10.02.2022. So far, report is received from one or two circles. All the circle and district unions are requested to conduct the signature campaign in full swing and complete the same within the target date.

CHQ has printed posters in English and Hindi, for organising the General Strike to be held on 28^th & 29^th March, 2022. The posters contained the charter of demands of the Central Trade Unions and the demands of BSNLEU. The posters are already despatched directly to the district unions. Circle unions are requested to ensure that the posters are displayed soon after delivery.

Tamil Nadu circle union has sent photos of this program to the CHQ, which are enclosed. All other circle unions are also requested to send photographs of their signature campaign programme.

The Corporate Office issued letter, notifying that the meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee would be held on 22.02.2022. However, this date has been changed, since it is not convenient for some members. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Ms. Anita Johri, Sr.GM(SR), yesterday evening. The Sr.GM(SR) has informed that the Wage Negotiating Committee meeting would be held on 04.03.2022 and that notification for this meeting would be issued on Monday.

CHQ is saddened to hear that, Shri N.Y. Verghese, father of Com. John Verghese, AGS, passed away at 7 am at Aurangabad today. He was 85 years old and had been unwell for some time. CHQ expresses its deep condolences to Com.John Verghese, AGS, his family members, relatives and friends.

जनरल स्ट्राइक के आयोजन के लिए फेसबुक लाइव कार्यक्रमों की तारीखों में परिवर्तन।

सीएचक्यू ने जनरल स्ट्राइक के आयोजन के लिए 11 और 12 फरवरी, 2022 को फेसबुक लाइव कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने का फैसला किया है। परंतु, अनिवार्य परिस्थितियों के कारण उपर्युक्त तिथियों पर कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन नहीं किया जा सकता है। इसलिए, कार्यक्रमों को पुन: निर्धारित किया गया है और निम्नलिखित विवरणों के अनुसार आयोजित किया जाएगा :-

(1) दिनांक 24-02-2022 को शाम 7 बजे हिंदी फेसबुक लाइव कार्यक्रम।

(2) दिनांक 25-02-2022 को शाम 7 बजे अंग्रेजी फेसबुक लाइव कार्यक्रम।

सभी सर्किल यूनियनों, सीएचक्यू पदाधिकारियों और जिला संघों से अनुरोध किया जाता है कि वे इन कार्यक्रमों में अधिक से अधिक संख्या में कामरेडों को शामिल करें ताकि आम हड़ताल को सफल बनाया जा सके।

The CHQ has decided to conduct Facebook live programmes on 11^th and 12^th February, 2022, for organising the General Strike. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the programmes cannot be organised on the above mentioned dates. Hence, the programmes are re- scheduled and will be held as per the following details:-

(1) Hindi Facebook Live programme at 7 pm on 24-02-2022.

(2) English Facebook Live programme at 7 pm on 25-02-2022.

All the circle unions, CHQ office bearers and district unions are requested to mobilise maximum number of comrades in these programmes, for making the General Strike successful.

जैसा कि पहले ही सूचित किया जा चुका है, बीएसएनएल में राष्ट्रीय मुद्रीकरण पाइपलाइन के विरुद्ध हस्ताक्षर अभियान आज शुरू हो गया है। BSNLEU, AIBDPA और BSNLCCWF की समन्वय समिति ने इसके लिए आह्वान किया है। हस्ताक्षर अभियान का आयोजन आज से एक सप्ताह के लिए किया जाना चाहिए। प्रत्येक कर्मचारी, साथ ही पेंशनभोगी से संपर्क किया जाना है और ज्ञापन में हस्ताक्षर प्राप्त किए जाने हैं। ज्ञापन की प्रति सभी सर्किल सचिवों और सीएचक्यू पदाधिकारियों को पहले ही भेजी जा चुकी है। सीएचक्यू सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से AIBDPA और BSNLCCWF के नेताओं के साथ समन्वय करने और अधिकतम संख्या में हस्ताक्षर प्राप्त करने का अनुरोध करता है।

In China, for the past few decades, growth has been led by corporatised PSUs, all of them held under a hold­ing company (SASAC), which pro­motes better governance, appoints leadership and executes mergers and acquisitions. Such PSUs that have scaled up are market leaders. In Sin­gapore, the Ministry of Finance fo­cuses on policymaking, while Tema­sek (the holding firm) is focused on corporatising and expanding its PSUs (for example, Singtel, PSA, Singa­pore Power, Singapore Airlines) to­wards a global scale. A PSU with greater autonomy, with the govern­ment retaining control via a holding firm, can also be subject to the right incentives (T.T. Ram Mohan, February 2021). Surely, Indian PSUs could aspire to be as large and efficient as the Chinese ones.

As has already been communicated, the signature campaign against National Monetisation Pipeline has started today in all the circles. The Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF has given the call for it. The signature campaign should be organised for one week from today. Each and every employee, as well as pensioner, is to be approached and signature obtained in the memorandum. A copy of the memorandum is already sent to all the circle secretaries and CHQ office bearers. The CHQ requests the circle and district unions to coordinate with the leaders of the AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF and to obtain maximum number of signatures.

CHQ is saddened to hear that, Smt. Kadami Borah, mother of Com.Gakul Borah, Treasurer (CHQ), has passed away at 8 pm yesterday. She was 95 years old and had been unwell for the past 3 months. CHQ expresses it’s heartfelt condolences to Com.Gakul Borah, Treasurer (CHQ) and to all the members of his family, as well as relatives and friends.
