बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के लिए मेडिकल इंश्योरेंस - महामंत्री ने Sr.GM( Admn.) से बात की .

यह पहले ही सूचित किया गया है कि बीएसएनएलईयू इच्छुक बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को मेडिकल इंश्योरेंस योजना लागू करने के प्रयासों को गंभीरता से ले रहा है । आज, कॉम.पी.अभिमन्यु, जीएस ने निगम कार्यालय में Sr.GM (Admn.) श्री A.M. गुप्ता से बात की और प्रगति के बारे में पूछताछ की। Sr.GM (Admn) ने उत्तर दिया कि, इस मामले पर प्रबंधन की आंतरिक समिति की एक बैठक पहले ही हो चुकी है । उन्होंने आगे कहा कि, बीमा कंपनियों के साथ जल्द ही सौदेबाजी शुरू होगी, योजना को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए। 

As regards, the payment of IDA to the Non-Executives, the order of the Hon’ble Kerala High Court is not yet implemented. BSNLEU is continuously taking up this issue. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, once again spoke to Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL, and discussed this issue. The CMD BSNL told that, even a few days ago, the BSNL Management has written a letter to the Secretary, Telecom, requesting him to take action to get information from the DPE, regarding the percentage of additional DA that has become payable to the Non-Executives of BSNL. However, no response was received from the DoT, stated the CMD BSNL. 

BSNLEU is seriously taking up the matter of issuing Presidential Orders to the TSMs, who were directly promoted as Telecom Technicians. The matter is lying pending with the DoT. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Shri Saurabh Tyagi, Sr.GM(Estt.), in the Corporate Office today and discussed the issue. The Sr.GM(Estt.) replied that, the DoT has so far not given it’s approval for this. At the same time, he assured that, he would speak to the concerned DDG, in the DoT and expedite the matter.

It is already informed that BSNLEU is seriously taking efforts to implement a Medical Insurance Scheme to the willing BSNL employees. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Shri A.M. Gupta, Sr.GM(Admn.) in the Corporate Office and enquired about the progress. The Sr.GM(Admn.) replied that, one sitting of the Internal Committee of the Management on this matter, has already taken place. He further stated that, bargaining will soon start with the insurance companies, to finalise the premium, as well as other terms and conditions.

In a landmark judgement delivered today, the Supreme Court has quashed the sedition case filed against the reputed journalist, Vinod Dua. The charge against Vinod Dua is that, he had accused Prime Minister Modi of using “deaths and terror attacks” to get votes.  For this, a sedition (Desh droh) case has been filed against Vinod Dua. Whether criticising the Prime Minister is Desh droh? The Supreme Court has said "no" and has quashed the sedition case filed against Vinod Dua.  In the 1962 judgement, delivered in the Kedar Nath Singh case, the Supreme Court has ruled that, speeches and expressions can be termed as seditious, only if the speech is an ‘incitement’ to ‘violence’ or ‘public disorder’. 

प्रधानमंत्री की आलोचना करना राजद्रोह नहीं है - सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पत्रकार विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ देशद्रोह का मामला रद्द कर दिया ।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आज दिए गए एक ऐतिहासिक फैसले में नामी पत्रकार विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ दायर देशद्रोह के मामले को रद्द कर दिया है। विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ आरोप है कि, उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर वोट पाने के लिए ' मौतों और आतंकी हमलों ' का इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप लगाया था ।इसके लिए विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ देशद्रोह  केस दर्ज किया गया है। क्या प्रधानमंत्री की आलोचना क्या देश द्रोह है? सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि "नहीं" और विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ दायर राजद्रोह के मामले को रद्द कर दिया है।  केदार नाथ सिंह मामले में दिए गए 1962 के फैसले में उच्चतम न्यायालय ने व्यवस्था दी है कि भाषणों और अभिव्यक्तियों को देशद्रोही कहा जा सकता है, तभी भाषण हिंसा या जन अव्यवस्था के लिए उकसाना है।

The CITU is organising an online meeting of the functionaries of the Public Sector trade unions on 15-06-2021. The meeting will start at 11:00 am. The Modi government is launching an all-out attack on the Public Sector, through privatisation. Huge assets of the Public Sector, are being handed over to the big corporates like Ambani, Adani, etc., at throw away prices. 

Simultaneously, the Modi government has launched it's attacks on the trade union movement also. All the existing Labour Laws are being scrapped and the anti-worker Labour Codes are being brought. The whole purpose is to kill the fighting potential of the trade unions. The meeting will discuss all these issues. Further, the meeting will also discuss about the Covid-19 pandemic situation. 

Leaders of the CITU, viz., Com.K.Hemalata, President, Com. Tapan Sen, General Secretary, Com. Swadesh Dev Roye, Secretary and other leaders will address this meeting. JE LICE परीक्षा को ऑनलाइन परीक्षा के रूप में न रखें - BSNLEU निदेशक (एचआर) के साथ औपचारिक बैठक में चर्चा के लिए आइटम देता है।
BSNLEU लंबे समय से मांग कर रहा है कि JE LICE केवल एक ऑफलाइन परीक्षा (Offline exam) के रूप में आयोजित किया जाना चाहिए। इस मांग को उठाने का कारण यह है कि, जो लोग इस परीक्षा में शामिल होते  है, वे हैं टेलीकॉम टेक्नीशियन और असिस्टेंट टेलीकॉम टेक्नीशियन. ये कर्मचारी कंप्यूटर संचालन से परिचित नहीं हैं। लेकिन निगम कार्यालय की भर्ती शाखा JE LICE को ऑनलाइन (Online) परीक्षा के रूप में कराने पर जोर दे रही है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ आगामी औपचारिक बैठक में चर्चा के लिए इसे एक अतिरिक्त मद के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया है ।

CHQ is saddened to inform that Smt. Shefali Mitra, mother of Com.Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU, has passed away. She was 75 years old and had been unwell. Initially, she was admitted in a hospital at Asansol and was later on shifted to Durgapur. All efforts taken by the doctors to save Smt. Shefali Mitra did not succeed and she passed away at 10:15 am yesterday. The CHQ of BSNLEU pays it's respectful homage to Ms. Shefali Mitra and conveys it’s heartfelt condolences to Com.Animesh Mitra and all the members of his family.

Tamil Nadu circle unions of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNL CCWF have innovatively observed the Black Day programme on 26.05.2021, on the digital platform. A meeting, followed by demonstration has been organised on the digital platform, participated in by 100 comrades. Com.S. Chellappa, AGS & Circle President, presided. Com.A. Babu Radhakrishnan, CS, BSNLEU, Com.N. Kuppusamy, CS, AIBDPA and Com.C. Vinod Kumar, CS, BSNL CCWF, spoke and explained about the pro-corporate and anti-worker and anti-farmer policies of the Modi government. At the end of the meeting, slogans were raised opposing the Anti-Farmer Act, Labour Codes and supported the other demands of the Kisan Unions and Central Trade Unions. This programme was also seen by many live on the Facebook.

It has been brought to the notice of the CHQ of BSNLEU that, many DR JEs have already applied for transfer to their home circles, under Rule-8, after completing 5 years of service in their recruited circles. However, it is being complained that, the transfer requests of these DR JEs are not being considered. The worst part is that, their transfer applications are not even being forwarded, by their controlling officers, to the CGM's office. BSNLEU has taken up this issue as an agenda item, to be discussed in the Formal meeting, to be held with the Director (HR) on 17^th / 18^th / 19^th June, 2021. BSNLEU requests all the DR JEs, who have already applied for Rule-8 transfers, but not yet considered / relieved, may kindly email their details on [email protected]. All the cases will be compiled and the list will be sent to the Director (HR) and will be discussed in the forthcoming Formal Meeting.

It is already three and half months, since the Hon’ble Kerala High Court gave an order for the payment of IDA to the Non-Executives of BSNL. The  Hon’ble Court has said that, the freezing of IDA by the government, is not applicable to the Non-Executives of BSNL. However, the DPE, the DoT and the BSNL Management are playing hide-and-seek game on this matter and have not implemented the court order. An RTI question has been raised on this issue by one of our DR JEs. However, the same hide-and-seek reply has been given by the authorities. BSNLEU has again filed a petition in the Hon’ble Kerala High Court on this matter. At the same time, we appreciate the comrade, who has raised very relevant and pointed RTI question on the matter. The RTI question and reply are enclosed for the information of all.

COVID-19 के कारण मारे गए ठेका मजदूरों और कैजुअल मजदूरों के परिवारों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करें।
बीएसएनएलईयू के सीएचक्यू को रिपोर्ट मिली है कि बीएसएनएल के विकास के लिए 20 वर्ष से अधिक की सेवा में लगाए गए कुछ ठेका मजदूरों  और कैजुअल मजदूरों की निधन COVID-19  के कारण हुआ है । ये  मजदूरों अपने परिवार के एकमात्र कमाने वाले थे । इन मजदूरों की मौत ने उनके परिवारों को भारी आर्थिक संकट में डाल दिया है।  इसलिए बीएसएनएलईयू ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर मांग की है कि कंपनी मानवीय आधार पर इन कामगारों के परिवारों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करे।

As has already been notified, the Central Secretariat meeting of BSNLEU, will be held online on 09.06.2021. The Corporate Office has issued a letter for the sanctioning of Special CL to the Central Secretariat members, attending the meeting. All serving Central Secretariat members are requested to avail the special CL for attending the meeting.

Com.C. Santhosh Kumar, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, Kerala, is retiring on superannuation today, after completing 36 years of service. He became the circle secretary of Kerala circle in 2018 and has provided a solid and able leadership to the circle union. In 2015, in the struggle against the arrogant M.S.S.Rao, the then CGM of Kerala, Com.Santhosh Kumar, stood in the forefront. Hence, together with other leaders, he was victimised and transferred. However, such victimisations could not deter him. The CHQ is especially thankful to Com. Santhosh, for promptly sharing various letters and information. The CHQ heartily congratulates Com.Santhosh Kumar on his superannuation and wishes him a long, healthy and active retired life.

Yesterday Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Ms. Anita Johri, Sr.GM(SR) and urged upon her to hold BSNLEU’s Formal Meeting with the Director (HR), without delay. Today the Sr.GM(SR) informed the General Secretary that, the meeting would be held in any one date of 17th,18th and 19th, June, 2021. The Sr.GM(SR) told that, three dates have been earmarked for BSNLEU because, the Management does not want any further postponement of the meeting.   BSNLEU thanks Ms. Anita Johri, Sr.GM(SR) for taking the matter seriously and making arrangement for holding the meeting.

BSNLEU is shocked and saddened to know that, Com.Manjit Singh, Circle Secretary, NFTE,  Corporate Office, has passed away today, due to COVID-19. Com. Manjit Singh, was aged below 50 years and it is distressing to note that, he has passed away at such a young age. BSNLEU pays it’s respectful homage to Com.Manjit Singh and also convey it’s heartfelt condolences to the family members of Com.Manjit Singh, friends and comrades.

कर्मचारियों के लिए चिकित्सा बीमा - निगम कार्यालय त्वरित कार्रवाई कर रहा है ।
बीएसएनएलईयू द्वारा इच्छुक कर्मचारियों के लिए चिकित्सा बीमा योजना लागू करने के लिए दिए गए प्रस्ताव के आधार पर निगम कार्यालय त्वरित कार्रवाई कर रहा है। BSNLEU के प्रस्ताव को कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया है। एक आंतरिक समिति का गठन किया गया है, जिसमें श्री सौरभ त्यागी, Sr.GM (एस्ट), श्री A.M गुप्ता, Sr.GM (Admn.), श्री पी.डी.चिरनिया, Sr.GM (फिन- सीएफए) और जीएम (एसआर) श्रीमती अनीता जौहरी को बनाया गया है। यह समिति अब चिकित्सा बीमा योजना को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की बीमा कंपनियों के साथ बातचीत शुरू करेगी।  बीएसएनएलईयू इस मामले पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करने के लिए श्री A. M. गुप्ता को धन्यवाद व्यक्त कर रहा है।

बीएसएनएल के गठन की तारीख बदली - इसका कर्मचारियों पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ेगा।

इसके अस्तित्व के 20 साल बाद बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने कल एक पत्र जारी किया है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि बीएसएनएल का गठन 15-09-2000 को हुआ था न कि 01-10-2000 को। इस संबंध में,  कॉम.पी.अभिमन्यु, जीएस ने आज कंपनी सचिव सह जीएम (लीगल) श्री जेपी चौधरी से बात की और मामले को स्पष्ट करने के लिए कहा। कंपनी सचिव ने कहा कि बीएसएनएल को 15-09-2000 को कंपनी अधिनियम के तहत शामिल किया गया था और कानूनी रूप से यह कंपनी के गठन की तारीख है। बीएसएनएल ने 01.10.2000 को इसका व्यावसायिक परिचालन शुरू किया था। हालांकि अधिकांश दस्तावेजों में बीएसएनएल के गठन की तिथि 01.10.2000 बताई जा रही है। कानूनी तौर पर यह सही नहीं है ।  इसलिए इस गलती को ठीक करने के लिए ही कल पत्र जारी किया गया है। तारीख में इस बदलाव का कर्मचारियों पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ेगा।

Based on the proposal given by BSNLEU, for implementing a Medical Insurance scheme for the willing employees, the Corporate Office is taking action on a fast track basis. BSNLEU's proposal is approved by the Corporate Office. An internal committee, consisting of Shri Saurabh Tyagi, Sr.GM(Estt.), Shri A.M. Gupta, Sr.GM(Admin), Shri P.D.Chirania, Sr.GM( Fin-CFA) and Ms. Anita Johri, GM(SR), has been formed. This Committee will now start it’s negotiations with the Public Sector Insurance Companies to finalise the Medical Insurance Scheme. BSNLEU appreciates Shri A.M.Gupta, Sr. GM(Admn.) for taking speedy action on the matter.
