The Convenor of the BSNL Working Women’s Coordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) has issued circular for holding an online meeting of the Committee. This meeting will be held at 8 pm on 17.03.2025. All the members of the BSNLWWCC are requested to attend the meeting without fail.

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वूमेन कोऑर्डिनेशन कमेटी (बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) के संयोजक ने समिति की ऑनलाइन बैठक आयोजित करने के लिए परिपत्र जारी किया है। यह बैठक 17.03.2025 को शाम 8 बजे होगी। बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी के सभी सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि वे बैठक में अनिवार्य रूप से उपस्थित रहें।

As per the decision of the All India Union, the next All India Conference of our Union is going to be held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu and Chennai circle unions are hosting this Conference. The Joint Circle Executive Committee meeting of Tamil Nadu and Chennai circle unions have formed a Reception Committee for conducting the All India Conference. The Reception Committee has issued it’s first circular. This circular is being forwarded to the circle unions and CHQ office bearers for favour of information.

11वें अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन की स्वागत समिति ने परिपत्र जारी किया।

अखिल भारतीय यूनियन के निर्णय के अनुसार, हमारे यूनियन का अगला अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन कोयंबटूर, तमिलनाडु में आयोजित होने जा रहा है। इस सम्मेलन की मेजबानी तमिलनाडु और चेन्नई सर्कल की यूनियनें कर रही हैं। अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन के आयोजन के लिए तमिलनाडु और चेन्नई सर्कल की यूनियनों की संयुक्त सर्कल कार्यकारिणी समिति की बैठक में स्वागत समिति का गठन किया गया है। स्वागत समिति ने अपना पहला परिपत्र जारी किया है। यह परिपत्र सर्कल यूनियनों और सीएचक्यू पदाधिकारियों को सूचना के लिए भेजा जा रहा है।

In the past couple of days, very big announcements have been made in the Indian telecom sector. India’s two big corporate telecom service providers, Jio and Airtel have announced that, they had signed agreements with Elon Musk’s SpaceX. These agreements are to bring Elon Musk’s Starlink Satellite Internet Service to India. What is Satellite Internet Service? It is internet service provided not through normal mobile towers, but through satellites orbiting the earth at low height -  “Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites". These satellites are being operated by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. It is being propagated that, Starlink’s high speed Satellite Internet Service will be provided even in remote and hilly areas, where installing mobile towers, etc., is difficult. It must be understood that big corporates like Ambani of Reliance Jio and Sunil Mittal Bharti of Airtel are here, not to serve the people of this country. Rather, they are here to mint money and to multiply their profits. Elon Musk is the richest man in the world. Undoubtedly, both Ambani and Sunil Mittal Bharti are joining hands with Elon Musk to make big money. Government is levying 30% taxation on foreign digital services in India. Hence, Starlink’s Satellite Internet Service is likely to cost more. One report says that, it willl cost a customer between Rs.3,500/- to Rs.4,500/- per month. Under these circumstances, there is urgent need for BSNL to provide good quality voice call and data services to the public. All the unions and associations in BSNL should immediately focus on this issue. Pressure should be exerted on BSNL Management and the government, for taking immediate steps to improve the quality of BSNL's services on a war footing.

एलोन मस्क की स्टारलिंक सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट सेवा भारत में प्रवेश कर रही है।

पिछले कुछ दिनों में भारतीय दूरसंचार क्षेत्र में बहुत बड़ी घोषणायें हुई हैं। भारत की दो बड़ी कॉरपोरेट दूरसंचार सेवा प्रदाताओं, जियो और एयरटेल ने घोषणा की है कि, उन्होंने एलोन मस्क की स्पेसएक्स के साथ समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। ये समझौते एलोन मस्क की स्टारलिंक सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट सेवा को भारत में लाने के लिए हैं। सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट सेवा क्या है ? यह सामान्य मोबाइल टावरों के माध्यम से नहीं, बल्कि कम ऊंचाई पर पृथ्वी की परिक्रमा करने वाले उपग्रहों - "लो अर्थ ऑर्बिट (LEO) उपग्रहों" के माध्यम से प्रदान की जाने वाली इंटरनेट सेवा है। इन उपग्रहों को एलोन मस्क के स्पेसएक्स द्वारा संचालित किया जा रहा है। यह प्रचारित किया जा रहा है कि, स्टारलिंक की हाई स्पीड सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट सेवा दूरदराज और पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में भी प्रदान की जाएगी, जहां मोबाइल टावर आदि लगाना मुश्किल है। यह समझना चाहिए कि रिलायंस जियो के अंबानी और एयरटेल के सुनील मित्तल भारती जैसे बड़े कॉरपोरेट यहां इस देश के लोगों की सेवा करने के लिए नहीं हैं। बल्कि, वे यहां पैसा बनाने और अपने मुनाफे को बढ़ाने के लिए हैं। एलोन मस्क दुनिया के सबसे अमीर आदमी हैं। निस्संदेह, अंबानी और सुनील मित्तल भारती दोनों ही बड़ा पैसा बनाने के लिए एलोन मस्क से हाथ मिला रहे हैं इन परिस्थितियों में बीएसएनएल को जनता को अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली वॉयस कॉल और डेटा सेवाएं प्रदान करने की तत्काल आवश्यकता है। बीएसएनएल के सभी यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों को इस मुद्दे पर तुरंत ध्यान देना चाहिए। बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन और सरकार पर दबाव डाला जाना चाहिए कि वे बीएसएनएल की सेवाओं की गुणवत्ता में सुधार के लिए तत्काल कदम उठाये। 

According to the data released by the TRAI, Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom service provider, added a significant 39 lakh subscribers in December 2024. Bharti Airtel followed with a gain of 10 lakh subscribers during the same period. However, both Vodafone Idea (VI) and BSNL experienced declines in their subscriber bases. While Vodafone Idea lost 17 lakh customers in December, 2024, BSNL has lost 3.2 lakh subscribers. It is important to note that BSNL lost 3.4 lakh subscribers in November, 2024 also.

बीएसएनएल ने  ग्राहक खो दिए, जबकि जियो और एयरटेल को फायदा हुआ - टीआरएआई डेटा कहता है।

टीआरएआई द्वारा जारी किए गए डेटा के अनुसार, भारत की सबसे बड़ी दूरसंचार सेवा प्रदाता कंपनी रिलायंस जियो ने दिसंबर 2024 में 39 लाख ग्राहक जोड़े। इसी अवधि के दौरान भारती एयरटेल ने 10 लाख ग्राहक जोड़े। हालांकि, वोडाफोन आइडिया (वीआई) और बीएसएनएल दोनों के ग्राहक आधार में गिरावट आई है। दिसंबर 2024 में वोडाफोन आइडिया ने जहां 17 लाख ग्राहक खोए, वहीं बीएसएनएल ने 3.2 लाख ग्राहक खोए हैं। यह ध्यान रखना महत्वपूर्ण है कि बीएसएनएल ने नवंबर 2024 में भी 3.4 लाख ग्राहक खोए हैं।

According to the data released by the TRAI, Reliance Jio’s wireless subscriber base stood at 465.13 million, maintaining its position as the market leader. Bharti Airtel followed with 385.3 million subscribers. Vodafone Idea had 207.25 million as of the end of December 2024. BSNL’s wireless user base stood at 91.72 million. In terms of market share, Reliance Jio continued to dominate the wireless services sector with a 40.42% share, followed by Bharti Airtel with 33.49%. Vodafone Idea held an 18.01% market share, while BSNL's share stood at 7.99%.

टीआरएआई द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, रिलायंस जियो का वायरलेस सब्सक्राइबर बेस 465.13 मिलियन रहा, जो बाजार में अग्रणी के रूप में अपनी स्थिति बनाए रखता है। भारती एयरटेल 385.3 मिलियन सब्सक्राइबर्स के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर है। दिसंबर 2024 के अंत तक वोडाफोन आइडिया के पास 207.25 मिलियन थे। बीएसएनएल का वायरलेस यूजर बेस 91.72 मिलियन था। बाजार हिस्सेदारी के मामले में, रिलायंस जियो ने 40.42% हिस्सेदारी के साथ वायरलेस सेवा क्षेत्र पर अपना दबदबा बनाए रखा, इसके बाद भारती एयरटेल 33.49% के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर है। वोडाफोन आइडिया के पास 18.01% बाजार हिस्सेदारी थी, जबकि बीएसएनएल की हिस्सेदारी 7.99% थी।

A number of Non- Executives have been recruited in the Sr.TOA cadre, under Compassionate Ground Appointments. As per Rules, these officials need to pass the confirmation exam. However , this exam has not been conducted. BSNLEU has already written letter to the PGM(Estt.), BSNL CO., demanding to hold confirmation exam for the cadre of Sr.TOA. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri S.P. Singh, PGM(Estt.) and demanded that the confirmation exam should be conducted at the earliest.  The PGM(Estt.) assured to take the needful action for holding the confirmation exam at the earliest.

सीनियर टी.ओ.ए. केडर के लिए कन्फ़र्मेशन परीक्षा आयोजित करने के बारे में - महासचिव, BSNLEU ने प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा) से चर्चा की.

अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति के तहत सीनियर टी.ओ.ए. संवर्ग में कई नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स की भर्ती की गई है। नियमों के अनुसार, इन कर्मचारियों को कन्फ़र्मेशन परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने की आवश्यकता है। हालांकि, यह परीक्षा आयोजित नहीं की गई है। BSNLEU ने सीनियर टी.ओ.ए. केडर के लिए कन्फ़र्मेशन परीक्षा आयोजित करने की मांग करते हुए बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट ऑफ़िस के प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (एस्टा) को पहले ही पत्र लिख दिया है। साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने इस मुद्दे पर श्री एस.पी. सिंह, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा) से चर्चा की और मांग की कि कन्फ़र्मेशन परीक्षा जल्द से जल्द आयोजित की जानी चाहिए। प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा) ने कन्फ़र्मेशन परीक्षा जल्द से जल्द आयोजित करने के लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने का आश्वासन दिया।

For the past many years, BSNLEU has been pressing on the Management to implement the decision taken in the National Council meeting, for holding a Special JTO LICE for the Draftsman cadre. But, the exam could not be conducted  because the vacancy details were not sent to the Establishment Branch by the CGM (BW). After much persuasion by BSNLEU, the vacancy details were sent by the CGM(BW). Now, the Special JTO LICE for the Draftsman cadre has to be conducted. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri S.P. Singh, PGM(Rectt.&Trng.). It was replied by the PGM(Rectt.&Trng.) that BSNL is on job of selecting the outside agency for conducting various LICEs for BSNL. Special JTO LICE for the Draftsman cadre will be conducted once the agency for holding the LICEs is finalised.

ड्राफ्ट्समैन केडर के लिए विशेष जेटीओ एलआईसीई शीघ्र आयोजित करने के लिए कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

पिछले कई वर्षों से BSNLEU प्रबंधन पर ड्राफ्ट्समैन केडर के लिए विशेष जेटीओ एलआईसीई आयोजित करने के लिए नेशनल काउंसिल की बैठक में लिए गए निर्णय को लागू करने के लिए दबाव बना रहा है। लेकिन, चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) द्वारा एस्टाबलिशमेंट शाखा को रिक्तियों का विवरण नहीं भेजे जाने के कारण परीक्षा आयोजित नहीं की जा सकी। BSNLEU द्वारा विमर्श के बाद चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) द्वारा रिक्तियों का विवरण भेजा गया। अब, ड्राफ्ट्समैन केडर के लिए विशेष जेटीओ एलआईसीई आयोजित किया जाना है। साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, ने श्री एस.पी. सिंह, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (भर्ती एवं प्रशिक्षण) के साथ इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की। प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (भर्ती एवं प्रशिक्षण) द्वारा उत्तर दिया गया कि बीएसएनएल  विभिन्न एलआईसीई आयोजित करने के लिए बाहरी एजेंसी का चयन करने का काम कर रहा है। एलआईसीई आयोजित करने के लिए एजेंसी को अंतिम रूप दिए जाने के बाद ड्राफ्ट्समैन केडर के लिए विशेष जेटीओ एलआईसीई आयोजित किया जाएगा।

The inspiring 10th Circle Conference of Kolkata Telephones circle was held at Kolkata on 08.03.2025. 94 delegates and observers, from 5 district unions participated in this conference. Com.Sisir Kumar Roy, Circle President, presided over. Com.Manisha Biswas, Chairperson, Reception Committee, welcomed every one. Com. Anadi Sahoo, General Secretary, CITU, WB, inaugurated the Conference. Com. Animesh Mitra, President (CHQ), addressed the conference on behalf of the CHQ and explained in detail about the issues of Wage Revision, 2nd VRS, problems faced in the 4G service and various other HR issues being taken up by the CHQ. Shri Deepesh Chandra Tikadar, CGM, addressed in the open session. It was also addressed by Com.Sujoy Sarkar, CS, BSNLEU, WB Circle, Com.Harekrishna Fauzdar, CS, SNEA, Com.Krishnendu Naskar, CS, NFTE, Com.Manish Anand, DS, AIGETOA, Com Amar Mondal, CS, SEWA , Com Pradipta Ghosh, CS, CTTMU and Com. Omprakash Singh. Com.Sankar Keshar Nepal, Circle Secretary, submitted the report on activities and Com Jayanta Kumar Ghosh submitted the audited accounts. 15 delegates participated in the deliberations and placed their views. After adoption of report and accounts, election of office bearers was held. Com.Sukanti Mukherjee, GS, Reception Committee, proposed vote of thanks and the conference got concluded with slogans.

कोलकाता सर्कल का प्रेरणादायी 10वां सर्कल सम्मेलन 08-03-2025 को आयोजित हुआ।

कोलकाता टेलीफोन सर्कल का प्रेरणादायी 10वां सर्कल सम्मेलन 08.03.2025 को कोलकाता में आयोजित किया गया। इस सम्मेलन में 5 जिला यूनियनों के 94 प्रतिनिधियों और पर्यवेक्षकों ने भाग लिया। सर्कल अध्यक्ष साथी शिशिर कुमार रॉय ने अध्यक्षता की। स्वागत समिति की अध्यक्ष साथी मनीषा विश्वास ने सभी का स्वागत किया। सीआईटीयू, पश्चिम बंगाल के महासचिव साथी अनादि साहू ने सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया। सीएचक्यू के अध्यक्ष साथी अनिमेष मित्रा ने सीएचक्यू की ओर से सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया और वेतन संशोधन, द्वितीय वीआरएस, 4G सेवा में आने वाली समस्याओं और सीएचक्यू द्वारा उठाए जा रहे विभिन्न अन्य मानव संसाधन मुद्दों के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। श्री दीपेश चंद्र टिकादार, मुख्य महाप्रबंधक ने खुले सत्र में संबोधित किया। इसे BSNLEU पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल्स के सर्कल सचिव साथी सुजॉय सरकार, एसएनईए के सर्कल सचिव साथी हरेकृष्ण फौजदार, एनएफटीई के सर्कल सचिव साथी कृष्णेंदु नस्कर, एआईजीईटीओए के जिला सचिव साथी मनीष आनंद, सेवा के सर्कल सचिव साथी अमर मंडल, सीटीटीएमयू के सर्कल सचिव साथी प्रदीप घोष और ओमप्रकाश सिंह ने भी संबोधित किया। सर्कल सचिव साथी शंकर केशर नेपाल ने गतिविधियों पर रिपोर्ट पेश की और साथी जयंत कुमार घोष ने ऑडिटेड एकाउंट्स पेश किए। विचार-विमर्श में 15 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया और अपने विचार रखे। रिपोर्ट और एकाउंट्स को अपनाने के बाद पदाधिकारियों का चुनाव हुआ। स्वागत समिति के महासचिव साथी सुकांति मुखर्जी ने धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव रखा और नारे के साथ सम्मेलन का समापन हुआ।

The  Wage Revision Committee meeting had been scheduled to be held today the 10-03-2025. However, this meeting was postponed due to administrative reasons. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS spoke to Ms. Anita Johri, PGM(SR) and insisted upon the urgency to hold the meeting of the Wage Revision Committee without further delay. Shri Rajiv Soni, Chairman of the Wage Revision Committee is on training this week. Under this circumstance, the General Secretary insisted upon the PGM (SR) to hold the meeting of the Wage Revision Committee next week itself. The PGM (SR) assured to take the needful action.

वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक अगले सप्ताह आयोजित करें - महासचिव, BSNLEU, ने  प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एसआर) से आग्रह किया.

वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक आज दिनांक 10-03-2025 को आयोजित की जानी थी। लेकिन प्रशासनिक कारणों से यह बैठक स्थगित कर दी गई। आज, साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने सुश्री अनीता जौहरी, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एसआर) से बात की और बिना किसी देरी के वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक आयोजित करने पर जोर दिया। वेतन संशोधन समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री राजीव सोनी इस सप्ताह प्रशिक्षण पर हैं। इस परिस्थिति में, महासचिव ने प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एसआर) से अगले सप्ताह ही वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक आयोजित करने पर जोर दिया। प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एसआर) ने आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने का आश्वासन दिया।
