भारतीय लोग यह देखकर स्तब्ध हैं कि अमेरिका से भारतीय प्रवासियों को जंजीरों और हथकड़ियों में बांधकर वापस लाया जा रहा है। अमेरिका की यह हरकत अमानवीय और शर्मनाक है। विपक्षी दलों ने संसद में इस मुद्दे को गंभीरता से उठाया। हालांकि, विदेश मंत्री श्री एस. जयशंकर ने जवाब दिया कि हथकड़ी और जंजीरों में बांधकर प्रवासियों को वापस भेजना "मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया" है। विदेश मंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि यह कोई नई बात नहीं है। भारतीय प्रवासियों के साथ अमानवीय और अपमानजनक व्यवहार करने के लिए भारत सरकार को अमेरिकी सरकार के समक्ष अपना विरोध व्यक्त करना चाहिए था। लेकिन, आश्चर्यजनक रूप से, भारतीय विदेश मंत्री ने अमेरिका की इस अमानवीय कार्रवाई को उचित ठहराया है।

It is shocking to note that, The National Land Monetisation Corporation Ltd. has called for tenders for selling out 52,178 sq. metres of land and buildings of the Alipore Telecom Factory in West Bengal circle. It is a billion dollar question to whom the money from the sale of this property will go to. The employees of BSNL are the important stakeholders of the Company. However, the unions and associations are kept in the dark. The Alipore Telecom Factory is still operational and is manufacturing important components for BSNL’s networks. BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL, today, with copies to Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Minister of Communications and Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, Telecom. In it’s letter, BSNLEU has demanded that, the Telecom Factory at Alipore should not be sold out and it should continue to manufacture telecom equipments. BSNLEU has also stated that, the land lying idle could be sold out, but the money of this sale should come to BSNL and it should not be usurped by the government. BSNLEU has also demanded that, the entire matter should be discussed with the unions and associations.

अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री को न बेचा जाए - BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को लिखा पत्र।

यह जानकर आश्चर्य हुआ कि नेशनल लैंड मोनेटाइजेशन कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड ने पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल में अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री की 52,178 वर्ग मीटर भूमि और इमारतों को बेचने के लिए निविदाएं आमंत्रित की हैं। यह एक अरब डॉलर का सवाल है कि इस संपत्ति की बिक्री से मिलने वाला पैसा किसके पास जाएगा। बीएसएनएल के कर्मचारी कंपनी के महत्वपूर्ण हितधारक हैं। हालांकि, यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों को अंधेरे में रखा गया है। अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री अभी भी चालू है और बीएसएनएल के नेटवर्क के लिए महत्वपूर्ण घटकों का निर्माण कर रही है। BSNLEU ने आज सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखा है, जिसकी प्रतियां संचार मंत्री श्री ज्योतिरादित्य एम. सिंधिया और दूरसंचार सचिव डॉ. नीरज मित्तल को भेजी गई हैं। अपने पत्र में BSNLEU ने मांग की है कि अलीपुर स्थित टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री को न बेचा जाए और इसमें दूरसंचार उपकरणों का निर्माण जारी रखा जाए। BSNLEU ने यह भी कहा है कि बेकार पड़ी जमीन को बेचा जा सकता है, लेकिन इस बिक्री का पैसा बीएसएनएल को मिलना चाहिए और इसे सरकार द्वारा हड़प नहीं लिया जाना चाहिए। BSNLEU ने यह भी मांग की है कि इस पूरे मामले पर यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों से चर्चा की जानी चाहिए। 

The CHQ has already given detailed information in it’s circular dated 01.02.2025, about the sufferings of the people of Cuba. These sufferings are the direct result of the inhuman economic sanctions imposed on Cuba, by the United States. The people of Cuba have requested for humanitarian aid from the people world over. A meeting of The National Committee for Solidarity with Cuba, was held at New Delhi on 28.01.2025. The meeting was attended by Central Trade Unions, Kisan Sabha and Agricultural Workers Union. Representatives of BSNLEU also attended this meeting. The meeting has given call to collect donations and send it as humanitarian help to the people of Cuba. The All India Centre meeting of BSNLEU, held on 31.01.2025, has decided to call on the BSNL employees to give donations for Cuba Relief Fund. The All India Centre has also decided to observe Cuba Solidarity Day on 11.02.2025. Gate meetings should be organised on this day throughout the country and the need to send humanitarian help to the people of Cuba should be explained. CHQ has prepared a note on this issue, which is enclosed for the information of our comrades. As per the decision of the All India Centre, collection of Cuba Relief Fund should be completed by 28.02.2025. All the circle and district unions are requested to fully implement the decisions of the All India Centre.  

दिनांक 11.02.2025 को ‘क्यूबा एकजुटता दिवस’ का आयोजन करें - 28.02.2025 तक क्यूबा राहत कोष में पूरा सहयोग करें।

क्यूबा के लोगों की पीड़ा के बारे में सीएचक्यू ने अपने परिपत्र दिनांक 01.02.2025 में पहले ही विस्तृत जानकारी दे दी है। ये पीड़ाएं संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका द्वारा क्यूबा पर लगाए गए अमानवीय आर्थिक प्रतिबंधों का प्रत्यक्ष परिणाम हैं। क्यूबा के लोगों ने दुनिया भर के लोगों से मानवीय सहायता की मांग की है। क्यूबा के साथ एकजुटता के लिए राष्ट्रीय समिति की एक बैठक 28.01.2025 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित की गई थी। बैठक में केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों, किसान सभा और कृषि श्रमिक संघ ने भाग लिया। इस बैठक में BSNLEU के प्रतिनिधियों ने भी भाग लिया। बैठक में दान एकत्र करने और इसे क्यूबा के लोगों को मानवीय सहायता के रूप में भेजने का आह्वान किया गया है। 31.01.2025 को आयोजित BSNLEU की अखिल भारतीय केंद्र बैठक में बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों से क्यूबा राहत कोष के लिए दान देने का आह्वान किया गया है। अखिल भारतीय केन्द्र ने 11.02.2025 को क्यूबा एकजुटता दिवस मनाने का भी निर्णय लिया है। इस दिन पूरे देश में गेट मीटिंग आयोजित की जानी चाहिए तथा क्यूबा के लोगों को मानवीय सहायता भेजने की आवश्यकता बताई जानी चाहिए। केन्द्रीय मुख्यालय ने इस मुद्दे पर अंग्रेजी और हिंदी में एक नोट तैयार किया है, जो हमारे साथियों की जानकारी के लिए संलग्न है। अखिल भारतीय केन्द्र के निर्णय के अनुसार, क्यूबा राहत कोष का संग्रह 28.02.2025 तक पूरा किया जाना चाहिए। सभी सर्किल और जिला यूनियनों से अनुरोध है कि वे अखिल भारतीय केन्द्र के निर्णयों को पूरी तरह से लागू करें।

On 08th January, 2025, The National Land Monetisation Corporation Ltd., has sent a proposal for inviting financial bids from the firms, for selling out the Alipore Telecom Factory, which is situated in the prime location of Kolkata city.  Though Alipore Telecom Factory has a status of Heritage building, Modi government has taken decision to sell it out. The Alipore Telecom Factory is still functioning and is manufacturing telecom infrastructure equipments for BSNL networks. After getting the news from newspaper, the workers of the Alipore Telecom Factory got agitated and have organised a protest demonstration on 20th January, 2025. Regular employees, pensioners and the factory contract workers, under the banner of BSNL Co-Ordination Committee, organised the demonstration at factory gate. Com.Sujoy Sarkar, CS, BSNLEU and Com.Om Prakash Singh, President, AIBDPA, met the DGM(TF) and conveyed the workers' resentment to the BSNL Management. The CHQ of BSNLEU will take appropriate action to protect the Alipore Telecom factory, from being sold out by The National Monitisation Corporation Ltd.

मोदी सरकार अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री को बेचना चाहती है, हालांकि यह एक हेरिटेज बिल्डिंग है।

08 जनवरी, 2025 को नेशनल लैंड मोनेटाइजेशन कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड ने अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री को बेचने के लिए फर्मों से वित्तीय बोलियां आमंत्रित करने का प्रस्ताव भेजा है, जो कोलकाता शहर के प्रमुख स्थान पर स्थित है। हालांकि अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री को हेरिटेज बिल्डिंग का दर्जा प्राप्त है लेकिन मोदी सरकार ने इसे बेचने का फैसला किया है। अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री अभी भी काम कर रही है और बीएसएनएल नेटवर्क के लिए दूरसंचार बुनियादी ढांचे के उपकरण बना रही है। अखबार से खबर मिलने के बाद अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री के कर्मचारी उत्तेजित हो गए और उन्होंने 20 जनवरी, 2025 को एक विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित किया है। बीएसएनएल समन्वय समिति के बैनर तले नियमित कर्मचारियों, पेंशनरों और फैक्ट्री के ठेका श्रमिकों ने फैक्ट्री गेट पर प्रदर्शन किया। BSNLEU का सीएचक्यू अलीपुर टेलीकॉम फैक्ट्री को नेशनल मॉनिटाइजेशन कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड द्वारा बेचे जाने से बचाने के लिए उचित कार्रवाई करेगा। 

The Joint Platform of the Central Trade Unions had given call to organise protest demonstrations on 05.02.2025, against the pro-corporate and anti-people Union budget. In accordance with this call, BSNLEU had called on the employees to effectively organise this demonstration. This programme is well organised in BSNL. The CHQ heartily congratulates all the circle and district unions for organising this demonstration.

केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संयुक्त मंच ने कॉरपोरेट समर्थक और जनविरोधी केंद्रीय बजट के खिलाफ 05.02.2025 को विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया था। इस आह्वान के अनुरूप BSNLEU ने कर्मचारियों से इस प्रदर्शन को प्रभावी ढंग से आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया था। बीएसएनएल में यह कार्यक्रम अच्छी तरह से आयोजित किया गया है। सीएचक्यू इस प्रदर्शन के आयोजन के लिए सभी सर्किल और जिला यूनियनों को हार्दिक बधाई देता है।

104 Indians who had illegally migrated to the United States have been sent back to India. This is part of the crackdown being carried out by the newly elected US President, Donald Trump, against illegal migrants in the United States. All the 104 Indians were brought to India in a US military plane. It is shocking to know that, while being brought to India, the hands of the illegal migrants were handcuffed and their legs were chained. The Press Information Bureau has denied that Indians were brought back in handcuffs and chains. One of the Indian immigrant, Jaspal Singh, said, “we were handcuffed and legs were chained. These were opened at the Amritsar Airport.” This is an inhuman and barbaric treatment to any human being. It is important to note that the Indian government, right from the days when Dr. Manmohan Singh, was the Indian Prime Minister, became very close to the United States. Under the prime ministership of Shri Narendra Modi, India has almost become a junior partner of the United States. However, the humiliating manner and inhuman manner in which the Indian migrants were deported shows that, the American government has no respect or regard for India and it’s citizens.

An enthusiastic circle executive committee meeting of BSNLEU, Karnataka circle, is held at Mangalore yesterday and today. The meeting started yesterday with the hoisting of National Flag by Com.Gopal Pujari, District President, BSNLEU, Mangalore Telecom District and the Union Flag by Com.C.K. Gundanna, Circle President. The circle executive committee meeting is presided over by Com.C.K. Gunanna, Circle President. Com.H.V. Sudharshan, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone. The presidential address is delivered by Com.C.K. Gundanna, Circle President. Com.H.V. Sudharshan, Circle Secretary, presented the report on activities and also the financial report. All the District Secretaries and Circle Office bearers participated in the deliberations. Com.Irfan Pasha, Treasurer (CHQ), addressed the session. Com.H.V. Sudharshan, replied to the issues raised by the executive committee members. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the meeting today. He spoke at length on 2^nd VRS, hurdles being created by the government in BSNL’s 4G launching and the efforts being taken by BSNLEU to settle the Wage Revision. He also explained the steps being taken by BSNLEU to settle the revision of Transport Allowance and removal of the discrimination between the Non-Executive Promotion Policy (NEPP) and the Executive Promotion Policy (EPP). The General Secretary emphasised the need to organise and strengthen the contract workers union. He also explained about the steps being taken to successfully conduct the forthcoming 11^th All India Conference of BSNLEU in Coimbatore. Immediately after the speech of the General Secretary, the executive committee members voluntarily announced their donations for successfully conducting the next All India Conference. It is heartening to note that, an amount of Rs.2,30,000/- is collected as donation for the All India Conference. The General Secretary heartily thanked all the comrades who generously donated. He also felicitated the comrades of Mangalore district with shawls and garlands, who had worked hard to make this meeting successful. The meeting came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Com.Gopal Pujari, District President.  

कर्नाटक सर्कल की उत्साहपूर्ण सर्कल कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक।

BSNLEU, कर्नाटक सर्कल की उत्साहपूर्ण सर्कल कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक कल और आज मैंगलोर में आयोजित की गई। बैठक की शुरुआत कल BSNLEU, मैंगलोर टेलीकॉम डिस्ट्रिक्ट के जिला अध्यक्ष साथी  गोपाल पुजारी द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराने और सर्कल अध्यक्ष साथी  सी.के. गुंडाना द्वारा यूनियन ध्वज फहराने के साथ हुई। सर्कल कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक की अध्यक्षता साथी सी.के. गुंडाना, सर्कल अध्यक्ष ने की। साथी एच.वी. सुदर्शन, सर्कल सचिव ने सभी का स्वागत किया। साथी  सी.के. गुंडाना, सर्कल अध्यक्ष ने अध्यक्षीय भाषण दिया। साथी  एच.वी. सुदर्शन, सर्कल सचिव ने गतिविधियों पर रिपोर्ट और वित्तीय रिपोर्ट भी प्रस्तुत की। सभी जिला सचिवों और सर्कल पदाधिकारियों ने विचार-विमर्श में भाग लिया। साथी इरफान पाशा, कोषाध्यक्ष (सीएचक्यू) ने सत्र को संबोधित किया। साथी एच.वी. सुदर्शन ने कार्यकारी समिति के सदस्यों द्वारा उठाए गए मुद्दों का जवाब दिया। आज बैठक को साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने संबोधित किया। उन्होंने दूसरे वीआरएस, बीएसएनएल की 4G लॉन्चिंग में सरकार द्वारा पैदा की जा रही बाधाओं और वेतन संशोधन को निपटाने के लिए BSNLEU द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयासों पर विस्तार से बात की। उन्होंने ट्रांसपोर्ट अलाउंस के संशोधन को निपटाने और नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव पदोन्नति नीति (एनईपीपी) और कार्यकारी पदोन्नति नीति (ईपीपी) के बीच भेदभाव को दूर करने के लिए BSNLEU द्वारा उठाए जा रहे कदमों के बारे में भी बताया। महासचिव ने कॉंट्राक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन को संगठित और मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कोयंबटूर में BSNLEU के आगामी 11वें अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करने के लिए उठाए जा रहे कदमों के बारे में भी बताया। महासचिव के भाषण के तुरंत बाद कार्यकारी समिति के सदस्यों ने अगले अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करने के लिए स्वेच्छा से अपने दान की घोषणा की। यह जानकर खुशी हुई कि अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन के लिए 2,30,000/- रुपये की राशि दान के रूप में एकत्र की गई है। महासचिव ने उदारतापूर्वक दान करने वाले सभी साथियों का दिल से धन्यवाद किया। उन्होंने इस बैठक को सफल बनाने में कड़ी मेहनत करने वाले मैंगलोर जिले के साथियों को शॉल और माला पहनाकर सम्मानित किया। बैठक का समापन जिला अध्यक्ष साथी गोपाल पुजारी द्वारा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ। 

During the past 15 years, the profits of the big corporates in India has increased tremendously. At the same time, the wages of the workers have remained almost stagnant. This is said by none other than the government’s own pre-budget economic survey. This has been prepared by the Chief Economic Advisor of the government Shri V. Anantha Nageswaran and submitted in the Parliament by Ms. Nirmala Sitaraman, Finance Minister. However, what action is taken by the government in the budget to change this situation? Nothing. On the contrary, again big concessions are given to the rich and the corporates. Various allocations being made to the poorer sections of the people have been cut down drastically. Most importantly, the allocation for MGNREGA, which is meant to provide jobs to the rural poor, is remaining the same for the past few years. The big concessions continuously being given to the corporates has not resulted in increased investments in the country, which again will result in more employment generation. However, the government is determined to serve the big corporates at the cost of the poor people of this country. It is under these circumstances, that the Joint Platform of the Central Trade Union has called on the Indian working class to organise protest demonstrations against the Union budget on 05.02.2025. The CHQ of BSNLEU calls upon the circle and district unions to organise this protest demonstrations successfully.

In the budget submitted in the Parliament for the financial year 2024 - 25, the government has decided to increase the Foreign Direct Investment ( FDI) in the Insurance Sector, from 74% to 100%. This is nothing but handing over the Insurance Sector to the foreign multinational corporations. This decision of the government is highly condemnable. BSNLEU strongly opposes this move of the government to increase the FDI in the Insurance Sector to 100%.

बीमा क्षेत्र में प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश (एफडीआई) 74% से बढ़ाकर 100% किया गया - BSNLEU इसका पुरजोर विरोध करता है। 

वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए संसद में प्रस्तुत बजट में सरकार ने बीमा क्षेत्र में प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश (एफडीआई) को 74% से बढ़ाकर 100% करने का निर्णय लिया है। यह बीमा क्षेत्र को विदेशी बहुराष्ट्रीय निगमों के हाथों में सौंपने के अलावा और कुछ नहीं है। सरकार का यह निर्णय अत्यंत निंदनीय है। BSNLEU बीमा क्षेत्र में प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश को 100% तक बढ़ाने के सरकार के इस कदम का पुरजोर विरोध करता है। 

A meeting of the All India Centre is held online yesterday the 31.01.2025. The decisions taken in the meeting are sent as CHQ circular. All the circle and district unions are requested to implement the decisions successfully.

कल दिनांक 31.01.2025 को अखिल भारतीय केन्द्र की बैठक ऑनलाइन आयोजित की गई। बैठक में लिए गए निर्णयों को सीएचकयू परिपत्र के रूप में भेजा गया है। सभी सर्कल एवं जिला संघों से अनुरोध है कि निर्णयों का सफलतापूर्वक क्रियान्वयन करें।

As usual, the Government has submitted an anti-people budget in the Parliament. This budget gives relief only to the handful of the rich people. The Joint Platform of the Central Trade Unions has already given call to organise protest demonstrations on 05.02.2025. All the circle and district unions are requested to organise the demonstrations successfully.
