Kolkata and West Bengal circle unions of BSNLEU organised a massive election campaign meeting at the Telephone Bhawan, Kolkata, today. Com.Banani Chattopadhyay, and Com.Sisir Kumar Roy, Circle Presidents, presided over the meeting. Com.Shankar Keshar Nepal, Circle Secretary, Kolkata and Com.Sujoy Sarkar, Circle Secretary, West Bengal, welcomed everyone and addressed the gathering. Com.Suresh Kumar, General Secretary, SNATTA, addressed the meeting and praised BSNLEU’s functioning. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, spoke at length and explained about the anti-BSNL measures of the government which have ruined BSNL. Citing the roadblocks being created by the government, to stop BSNL’s 4G launching, the General Secretary explained that, the ultimate aim of the government is to ruin BSNL and to hand it over to the private. He called on the employees to come forward for protecting BSNL as a vibrant public sector company. The General Secretary explained the achievements of BSNLEU made in the past three years. He called on the employees to massively vote for BSNLEU.

BSNLEU के कोलकाता और पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल यूनियनों ने आज कोलकाता के टेलीफोन भवन में एक विशाल चुनाव अभियान बैठक का आयोजन किया।  बैठक की अध्यक्षता साथी बनानी चट्टोपाध्याय और सर्कल अध्यक्ष साथी शिशिर कुमार रॉय ने की।  साथी शंकर केशर नेपाल, सर्कल सचिव, कोलकाता और साथी सुजॉय सरकार, सर्कल सचिव, पश्चिम बंगाल ने सभी का स्वागत किया और सभा को संबोधित किया।  साथी सुरेश कुमार, महासचिव, SNATTA ने बैठक को संबोधित किया और BSNLEU के कामकाज की प्रशंसा की।साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, ने विस्तार से बात की और सरकार के बीएसएनएल विरोधी उपायों के बारे में बताया, जिसने बीएसएनएल को बर्बाद कर दिया है।  बीएसएनएल की 4G सेवा का आरंभ रोकने के लिए सरकार द्वारा पैदा की जा रही बाधाओं का हवाला देते हुए महासचिव ने बताया कि, सरकार का अंतिम उद्देश्य बीएसएनएल को बर्बाद करना और इसे निजी को सौंपना है।  उन्होंने कर्मचारियों से बीएसएनएल को एक जीवंत सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कंपनी के रूप में बचाने के लिए आगे आने का आह्वान किया।  महासचिव ने पिछले तीन वर्षों में BSNLEU की उपलब्धियों के बारे में बताया।  उन्होंने कर्मचारियों से BSNLEU  के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर मतदान करने का आह्वान किया।

BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNL WWCC) is the sub-committee of BSNL Employees Union. Tamil Nadu circle union of BSNLEU has kindly consented to host the 2nd All India Convention of BSNL WWCC. This Convention will be held in December, 2022. Exact date of the Convention, as well as the venue will be announced shortly.

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वीमेंस को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी-BSNLWWCC) का अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन दिसंबर, 2022 में तमिलनाडु में आयोजित किया जायेगा ।

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वीमेंस को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) BSNLEU की उप-समिति है। BSNLEU के तमिलनाडु सर्किल यूनियन ने बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी के दूसरे अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करने के लिए सहमति दे दी है। यह सम्मेलन दिसंबर, 2022 में आयोजित किया जाएगा। सम्मेलन की सटीक तारीख और स्थल की घोषणा जल्द ही की जाएगी।

9th Membership Verification campaign programme is being conducted in full swing in Jharkhand Circle from CHQ. Com Animesh Mitra has visited 3 big BA in Jharkhand circle, viz., Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad. On 19.09.2022, an open session meeting was organised in the open field of Ranchi telephone Exchange where Com. Binod Singh presided over the meeting. Com. Bijoy Paswan, CS and Com. Animesh Mitra, President were the main speakers. Good response came from the general members of circle office, telephone exchange, core net work circle. On the same day at 4:00 pm meeting organised at Jamshedpur GM office where com. Binod Kumar, presided over the meeting and Com.Ram Naresh, DS, Jamshedpur, deliberate the importance of BSNLEU victory in this 9^th MV. Com.Bijoy Paswan, CS and Com. Animesh Mitra, President narrated the struggle of BSNLEU on the genuine demands of workers and to save the Company. The members gathered in the meeting took the challenge to make the BSNLEU as the only recognise union in BSNL. On 22.09.2022, another meeting held at Dhanbad, TRC hall where com. Sudarshan Singh, DS, presided over the meeting and gave the inaugural lecture. Com. Bijoy paswan cs and Com.Animesh Mitra, President, narrated the present situation and important HR issues and specially the HoCC meeting and attack on BSNL workers. During this campaign programme it has come to our notice that the young workers including the JE are very much active to lead the circle union in this crucial situation. It is clear that this time BSNLEU will get more vote than the last year.

The BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) is organising two online meetings, in connection with the 9^th Membership Verification. The first meeting will be organised on 28.09.2022 in Hindi. It will be addressed by Com.Prakash Sharma, AGS. The second meeting will be organised in English on 29.09.2022. Com.John Verghese, Dy. General Secretary, will address this meeting. Both the meetings will be held at 7:00 pm. The main issues related to the 9^thMembership Verification would be explained in these meetings. The circle secretaries, CHQ office bearers and the BSNL WWCC members are requested to organise maximum number of women employees in these meetings.  Poster for the meeting may be forwarded to each and every women employee.

The NTR circle of BSNLEU organised an impressive election campaign meeting today. A good number of comrades participated in this meeting enthusiastically. Com.T.C. Nagar, Circle President, presided over the meeting. Com.Sisodia (Circle Secretary, AIBDPA), Com.R.S. Sagar, CS, ALTTC, were also present on the dias. Com.R.S. Chauhan, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and delivered the introductory speech. Addressing the meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, spoke elaborately on the achievements of BSNL Employees Union done during the past 3 years, especially he highlighted the vibrant functioning of BSNLEU during the Covid-19 pandemic period. He spoke on the anti-BSNL policies of the government, the roadblocks being created in BSNL’s 4G launching, threatenings of the 2^nd VRS, increasing the working hours and dismissal under FR 56(J). He asserted that only a strong BSNL Employees Union can play the major role in defending the future of the employees and the Company and called on the employees to massively vote for BSNLEU on the Mobile symbol, in the 9^th Membership Verification.

NE-II circle union of BSNLEU organised a highly motivated election campaign meeting at Dimapur today. A large number of employees participated in this programme. Com.K. Saheb Singh, Circle President, hoisted the union flag and presided over the meeting. Com.N.A. Ahmad, Circle Secretary, delivered the welcome address.  Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, addressed the meeting and explained about the present critical condition of BSNL, wherein the company has not been able to launch its 4G service, due to the hurdles created by the government. He questioned who is responsible for the failure to revive BSNL, despite the allotment of 4G spectrum in 2019 itself, followed by the reduction of the staff strength by 80,000 employees under the VRS. He pointed out that, customers have started leaving BSNL in lakhs, due to the non-launching of 4G service. The General Secretary highlighted the issues taken up and settled by BSNLEU during the last 3 years and appealed to the employees to massively vote for BSNLEU.

It is already 20 days, since BSNLEU has started it’s campaign for 9^th Membership Verification. In it’s campaign meetings, so far, BSNLEU has not attacked NFTE. However, from the website updatings, we can see that, NFTE is attacking BSNLEU for the sake of getting votes. Hence, it has become our duty to give reply to the attacks of NFTE. Regarding the attacks made on BSNLEU, by Com.Chandeswar Singh, GS, NFTE in the meeting held at Ludhiana, the website updating of NFTE dated 21.09.2022 says as follows: “……failure of BSNLEU during its 18 years period as sole representative and main recognized union…..”

BSNLEU has printed posters, giving details of it’s achievements made during the past 3 years. However, it is a pity that, NFTE cannot claim anything as it’s  achievement. Because, NFTE has been in the coma stage for the past 3 years. Hence, it has not made any achievement worth mentioning. NFTE’s only achievement is that, it’s General Secretary, Com.Chandeswar Singh, has danced with Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL, in the Ranchi NFTE All India Conference. Let us feel pity for NFTE.

BSNLEU ने 9वीं सदस्यता सत्यापन के लिए अपना अभियान 20 दिन पहले ही शुरू कर दिया  हैं।  अपनी अब तक की अभियान बैठकों में BSNLEU ने एनएफटीई पर कोई हमला नहीं किया है।  हालांकि, एनएफटीई की वेबसाइट अपडेट से हम देख सकते हैं कि वोट पाने के लिए BSNLEU पर हमले हो रहे हैं।  इसलिए जवाबी कार्रवाई करना हमारा कर्तव्य बन गया है। लुधियाना में आयोजित बैठक में साथी चंदेश्वर सिंह, महासचिव, एनएफटीई द्वारा BSNLEU पर किए गए हमलों के संबंध में एनएफटीई ने दिनांक 21.09.2022 को वेबसाइट अपडेट किया है जो  इस प्रकार है :-  "…… BSNLEU की 18 साल की अवधि के दौरान एकमात्र प्रतिनिधि और मुख्य मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियन के रूप में विफलता… .."

BSNLEU ने पिछले 3 वर्षों के दौरान अपनी सभी उपलब्धियों का विवरण देते हुए एक पोस्टर छापा है।  हालाँकि, यह अफ़सोस की बात है कि एनएफटीई के पास दावा करने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं है क्योंकि, एनएफटीई पिछले 3 वर्षों से कोमा की अवस्था में पड़ा हुआ है।  इसलिए, यह उल्लेख के लायक कोई उपलब्धि प्राप्त नहीं कर पाया है।  एनएफटीई के महासचिव, साथी चंदेश्वर सिंह का श्री पी.के. पुरवार, सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल के साथ रांची में आयोजित अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन में नृत्य करना पिछले 3 वर्षों के दौरान एनएफटीई की एकमात्र उपलब्धि है।

BSNLEU, Assam circle, organised an energetic 9^th Membership Verification campaign meeting at Guwahati today. Com.Bijoy Thakur, Circle President, presided over. Com. Bijoy Deka, Circle Secretary, delivered the welcome address. The meeting was addressed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, Com.M.R. Das, veteran leader and the AGS of AIBDPA, Com.S.N. Sarma, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA, Com.Omkar Bhowmick, Organising Secretary (CHQ) and Com.Prasanta Baruah, Organising Secretary (CHQ). Addressing the meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, emphasised the need to strengthen the movement to defeat the conspiracies being hatched to convert BSNL into a sick Company and to hand it over to the private thereafter. He exposed the road-blocks being created in the launching of BSNL’s 4G, the false claims of the 2^ndRevival Package, the achievements made by BSNLEU during the past 3 years, as well as the issues being actively pursed by BSNLEU. The meeting ended with the slogans vowing to ensure BSNLEU’s landslide victory.

गुवाहाटी में आज ऊर्जापूर्ण  चुनाव अभियान बैठक का आयोजन।

BSNLEU, असम सर्कल ने आज गुवाहाटी में एक ऊर्जापूर्ण 9वीं सदस्यता सत्यापन अभियान बैठक का आयोजन किया।  अध्यक्षता मंडल अध्यक्ष साथी बिजॉय ठाकुर ने की। सर्कल सचिव साथी बिजॉय डेका ने स्वागत भाषण दिया।  बैठक को साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, साथी एम.आर. दास, अनुभवी नेता और एआईबीडीपीए के सहायक महासचिव, साथी एस.एन. सरमा, सर्कल सचिव, एआईबीडीपीए, साथी ओंकार भौमिक, आयोजन सचिव (सीएचक्यू) और साथी प्रशांत बरुआ, आयोजन सचिव (सीएचक्यू) ने बैठक को संबोधित किया । बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने बीएसएनएल को एक बीमार कंपनी में बदलने और उसके बाद निजी हाथों को सौंपने के लिए रची जा रही साजिशों को हराने के लिए आंदोलन को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।  उन्होंने बीएसएनएल के 4G सेवा के आरंभ में पैदा की जा रहीं अड़चनें, दूसरे रिवाइवल पैकेज के झूठे दावों, पिछले 3 वर्षों के दौरान BSNLEU द्वारा की गई उपलब्धियों के साथ-साथ  BSNLEU द्वारा सक्रिय रूप से उठाये जा रहे मुद्दों का भी पर्दाफाश किया।  बैठक का समापन BSNLEU की प्रचंड जीत सुनिश्चित करने के नारे के साथ हुआ।

9वें सदस्यता सत्यापन में मतदान करने के लिए जेटीओ योग्य उम्मीदवारों को अवसर से वंचित करना - BSNLEU  निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को लिखता है।

बीएसएनएल में हर कोई जानता है कि नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए 9वां सदस्यता सत्यापन 12.10.2022 को आयोजित किया जाएगा। हालांकि, हमें यह जानकर आश्चर्य हुआ है कि, प्रबंधन ने 07.08.2022 को आयोजित जेटीओ एलआईसीई में उत्तीर्ण उम्मीदवारों के लिए 10.10.2022 को जेटीओ प्रशिक्षण शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया है।  यह और कुछ नहीं, बल्कि जेटीओ एलआईसीई में अर्हता प्राप्त करने वाले नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को मतदान के अधिकार से वंचित करना है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखकर जेटीओ प्रशिक्षण को स्थगित करने का अनुरोध किया है।

Gujarat circle union of BSNLEU organised a lively campaign meeting for the 9^th Membership Verification at Ahmedabad today. District Secretaries, circle office bearers and active functionaries attended the meeting from all parts of the circle. Com.V.P. Prajapati, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone. Com.M.B. Chaniyara, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA and Com.Nattu Bhai Patel (AIBDPA), were present on the dias. Com.M.K. Dave, Circle President, presided over and delivered the presidential address. Com.Dipesh Rana, Astt. CS, conducted the proceedings. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, addressed the meeting and spoke elaborately on the issues connected with the revival of BSNL. The 2nd Revival Package, delay in launching BSNL’s 4G service, the dynamic functioning of BSNLEU during the past 3 years in making effective intervention on each and every issue of the employees, etc., were well explained by the General Secretary. This was followed by the speeches of Com.D.K. Bakutra, former Circle Secretary, Com.Anand Narayan Singh, former Vice President (CHQ) and all the district secretaries. The meeting decided to make active campaign for the landslide victory of BSNLEU. 

BSNLEU, Rajasthan circle organised an inspiring election campaign meeting at Jaipur today. Com.Kamal Singh Gohil, Circle President, presided over. The meeting was addressed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, Com.Ashok Pareek, Circle Secretary, Com.P.K. Jain, Organising Secretary (CHQ), Com.Ashwin Kumar, Organising Secretary (CHQ), Com.Ramesh Chand Gupta, AGS, SNATTA and Com.M.K. Nagpal, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA, addressed the meeting. The CHQ office bearers explained about the present condition of BSNL and the various issues taken up and settled by BSNLEU since the last 3 years. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, exposed the hollow claims of the 2nd Revival Package, the conspiracy to weaken BSNL by not allowing the Company to launch it’s 4G and the decision of the government to hand over BSNL’s towers and OFC to the private under the National Monetisation Pipeline. 

Corporate Office has issued letter yesterday, the 20-09-2022, giving detailed guidelines to be followed in the 9th membership verification. The following guidelines may be noted by the circle and district secretaries.

Para 2.2 states that, “the polling booths should be so located that minimum inconvenience is caused to the voters.”

This point should be taken into note. Wherever the polling booths are located very far away, which causes inconvenience to the voter, the Circle Secretary should demand for additional polling booths.

Similarly para 12.3 states that, “half day leave may be granted to the non-executive forecasting vote.”

If the polling booth is far away and if half day leave is not sufficient for any voter, the Circle Secretary should write to the administration for the granting of full day leave.

The concerned CGM has to take up this issue with the Corporate Office for getting revised guidelines issued for the sanctioning of full day leave.

Circle secretaries may kindly send copies of the above letters to the CHQ, for taking up at the corporate office level.

कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय 9वीं सदस्यता सत्यापन के संबंध में दिशानिर्देश जारी करता है : सर्कल सचिव कृपया ध्यान दें।

कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने कल दिनांक 20-09-2022 को पत्र जारी किया है, जिसमें 9वीं सदस्यता सत्यापन में पालन किए जाने वाले विस्तृत दिशा-निर्देश दिए गए हैं। सर्कल और जिला सचिवों द्वारा निम्नलिखित दिशा-निर्देशों को नोट किया जा सकता है ।

पैरा 2.2 में कहा गया है कि, "मतदान बूथ इस प्रकार स्थित होने चाहिए कि मतदाताओं को न्यूनतम असुविधा हो।"

इस बिंदु को ध्यान में रखा जाना चाहिए।  जहां कहीं भी मतदान केंद्र बहुत दूर स्थित हों, जिससे मतदाता को असुविधा हो, सर्कल सचिव को अतिरिक्त मतदान केंद्रों की मांग करनी चाहिए।

इसी प्रकार पैरा 12.3 में कहा गया है कि "नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को मतदान के लिए आधे दिन की छुट्टी दी जा सकती है।"

यदि मतदान केंद्र दूर है और किसी मतदाता के लिए आधे दिन की छुट्टी पर्याप्त नहीं है तो सर्कल सचिव को पूरे दिन की छुट्टी मंजूर करने के लिए प्रशासन को पत्र लिखना चाहिए । 

संबंधित मुख्य महाप्रबंधक को पूरे दिन की छुट्टी की मंजूरी के लिए संशोधित दिशानिर्देश जारी करने के लिए इस मुद्दे को कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय के साथ उठाना होगा।

The Extended Circle Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, Haryana circle, is held at Rohtak today. Com.Ram Kumar Gujjar, Circle President, presided. Com.M.S. Kadian, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the report on activities. The meeting is addressed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, Com.Parveen Kumar, Organising Secretary (CHQ) and Com.Ramesh Chand, former Organising Secretary (CHQ). While addressing the meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, explained about the functioning of BSNLEU during the critical Covid-19 pandemic period. He gave a detailed account of the issues taken up and settled by BSNLEU. The General Secretary, threw light on BSNL’s 2nd Revival Package, the reasons why the government is creating roadblocks in BSNL’s 4G launching, the sale of BSNL’s mobile towers and optic fibre to the private, in the name of National Monetisation Pipeline and other issues. All the district secretaries and circle office bearers also participated in the discussion and explained about the ongoing preparations for the 9thMembership Verification.

A rousing 9^th Membership Verification campaign meeting was organised at Thrissur today, by the Kerala circle union of BSNLEU. Com.K.N. Joythi Lakshmi, AGS, presided. The meeting was addressed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, Com.M. Vijayakumar, Circle Secretary, Com.C. Santhosh Kumar, former Circle Secretary and Com.V. Baghya Lakshmi, Joint Convenor of BSNLWWCC. A large number of comrades attended the meeting from various districts of Kerala circle. Addressing the meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, exposed the false claims regarding the 2^nd Revival Package,   how BSNL is being deprived of 4G service, and the measures being taken to convert BSNL into a sick company. He explained in detail about the achievements made by BSNLEU during the past 3 years and also the issues being taken up by the Union. The meeting resolved to take all out efforts for BSNLEU’s victory with a massive leading. The General Secretary also released the Malayalam translation of CHQ’s booklet for the election campaign and also a poster. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Com.Krishnadas, District Secretary, Thrissur.
