BSNL Employees Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Bengaluru, has donated Rs.20,000 to the Contract Workers Relief Fund, being collected by BSNLEU. Shri Chandrappa, President, and Shri Doraiswamy, Vice President of the Society handed over the cheque to Com.S.Kumar, District Vice President, BSNLEU, Bengaluru telecom district. CHQ heartily thanks the BSNL Employees Credit Co-operative Society for it’s large heartedness.
The AUAB leaders of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh circle, have submitted memorandum to Shri Pocha Brahmanada Reddy, Lok Sabha member from the Nandyal constituency. The leaders explained the denial of 4G equipments to BSNL and also the delay in the implementation of it’s Revival Package. The MP assured to look into the matter and to do the needful.
The CEC meeting of BSNLEU held at New Delhi on 07th & 08th November, 2017, has taken important decisions with regards to the issues of the employees and the Union. Due to severe work load and continuous pre-occupation, there is a delay in uploading the decisions on our website. CHQ sincerely regrets for this delay.
The two day conference of Madhya Pradesh circle union started at Ujjain today. The Ujjain district union has made excellent arrangements for the Conference. The National Flag was hoisted by com.B.S.Raghuvanshi, circle president and the Union Red Flag was hoisted by com.P.Abhimanyu,GS. Floral tributes were paid in the martyrs column. Com.Prakash Sharma, circle secretary welcomed every one. Com.B.S.Raghuvanshi, circle president is presiding. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, inaugurated the Conference. In his speech, the General Secretary explained in detail, about the government policies which are weakening BSNL, the efforts of the Unions and Associations, for the revival of the Company, Wage Revision and Subsidiary Tower Company issues and about the various issues of the Non-Executives. Com.Prakash Sharma, presented his report on activities. Delegates are making their deliberations on the report.
CHQ has already called upon the circle unions to make maximum mobilisation of comrades for the March to Sanchar Bhawan programme, to be held on 23.02.2018. So far, only a few circles have informed about the number of comrades participating in the programme. CHQ requests all the circle unions to take immediate steps for mobilising the comrades for the programme. The number of comrades coming from each circle may also be informed to the CHQ immediately.
The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, held at Agartala, has decided that the next All India Conference of the Union, shall be held at Mysuru, in Karnataka circle. The All India Centre has finalised the dates of the AIC as 4th to 7th January, 2019. In view of this, it is informed that all the circle and district conferences which have become due / or will becoming due before the AIC, should be conducted, to ensure the participation of their delegates in the Conference.
A meeting of the functionaries of Haryana circle was held at Gurgaon on 22.08.2018. All the district secretaries, circle office bearers and a good number of active workers attended the meeting. Com.J.S. Dahiya, district president, Gurgaon, presided over. Com.M.S. Kadian, circle secretary, welcomed everyone. Com.P. Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the meeting and spoke on the significance of the worker-peasant rally, to be organised at New Delhi on 05th September, 2018. He explained how the Neo-Liberal policies, being pursued by the government is affecting the toiling masses. He called upon the comrades of Haryana circle to massively participate in the 05th September rally to be held at New Delhi. The General Secretary also explained about the status of Wage Revision, Pension Revision, Payment of pension contribution on actual basic pay, allotment of 4G spectrum and other issues.
2.6% IDA increase has become due from 1st April, 2019. With this, the IDA payable has become 141.4% (138.8% + 2.6% = 141.4%) Orders will be issued in due course.
The All India Centre meeting of BSNLEU, held at New Delhi yesterday, has decided to hold the Extended Central Executive Committee meeting of the Union at Pune, from 29th to 31st July, 2019. Apart from the circle secretaries and central office bearers, all the district secretaries should also participate in this Extended CEC meeting. They are eligible for availing special casual leave. Since this Extended CEC meeting is taking place at a time when the existence of BSNL itself is being challenged, circle secretaries are requested to take special care to bring all the district secretaries of their respective circles, to the Pune Extended CEC meeting. Absenteeism should be totally avoided. Delegate fee is fixed as Rs.800/. Circle secretaries are requested to immediately make arrangements for booking the journey tickets of the district secretaries. Let us make the Pune Extended CEC meeting a grand success.

BSNLEU, Himachal Pradesh Circle, conducted a very enthusiastic Circle Executive Committee meeting and election campaign meeting at Bindu Raj Sood, Dharmshala, Shimla. Inspite of the heavy rains blocked and damaged road, most of the CEC members and large number of Comrades including ladies attended the meeting. The meeting started by 5.30 in the evening as the leaders reached the venue very late due to heavy rains, still the staff waited. Com. Amarjit Singh, Circle President, presided over the meeting. Com.Luxmi Chand Grag, conducted the proceedings. Com. Balbir Singh, Vice-President, explained in details present financial crisis of BSNL, it's reasons, and the role of union played for revival of BSNL. He also explained the present situation in BSNL, being debated in the media. He briefed the workers regarding achievements made by the union, status of pending issues. The other issues striking the minds of the workers were also explained. The queries raised by the participants were also replied. Com.K.C.Panwar, Circle Secretary, addressed meeting briefly and gave vote of thanks.
The Corporate Office informed the Convenor, AUAB that, the CMD BSNL would be meeting the representatives of the AUAB at 04:00 pm tomorrow. It is also informed that, other Directors of the BSNL Board would also be attending the meeting.

BSNLEU and SNEA district unions of Madikeri SSA, Karnataka circle, have collected Contract Workers Relief Fund. Out of this fund, food materials worth Rs.700/- each were distributed to 140 contract workers. These materials were distributed on 26th and 27th of May, 2020. Com.V.J.Antony, District Secretary, BSNLEU and Com. Raghavendra, District Secretary, SNEA, together with the other office bearers, distributed these relief materials.
It is a matter of great pride for us to know that, BSNL Employees Union, Kerala Circle, has donated Rs.15,62,937 to fight the COVID-19. This amount has been handed over to the Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. This news is announced to the media by Com.Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala. CHQ heartily congratulates the Kerala circle union of BSNLEU, for taking the initiative to collect the donations from employees for this noble cause.
The meeting of All Unions and Associations of BSNL, held on 14-11-2017, has prepared a schedule for the tour programme of the All India leaders. We are aware that our circle unions may face some problems in organising the programme at such a short notice. Still this is very much required for the success of the strike. Hence, circle unions are requested to give utmost importance to organise the meetings, in coordination with other unions and associations.
The All Unions and Associations of BSNL, met Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications, at Jaipur today and presented the memorandum. The leaders urged upon the Hon’ble Minister to take a positive decision on wage revision and Subsidiary Tower Company issues. The Hon’ble Minister replied that he was aware that this is the last wage revision for 90% of the BSNL employees who are on service today. He assured that the matter would be looked into. BSNLEU heartily congratulates the Jaipur comrades of All Unions and Associations.
