In the heart of the National Capital, three children die due to starvation.

Three children of a family, all aged below 10 years, have starved to death in India’s capital. The shocking revelation came when post mortem was conducted on the three siblings, brought dead to hospital on last Tuesday. Doctors declared that the cause of the death was starvation. They also ruled out any foul play. The mother of the children is mentally unstable. The father has gone out, and has not returned for the past few days. The net result is that the children have starved to death. These starvation deaths are not an isolated case. Such starvation deaths continue to take place in many parts of the country. All these happen when the government claims that India is the fastest growing economy in the world. Further, India is also producing the largest number of billionaires, and Mukesh Ambani has become the richest Asian. All should understand that the economic policies being followed by the government are basically pro-rich and anti- poor.
