His world record for most goals, scored by an individual in the men’s hockey final of the Olympics, still remains unbeaten.
Three-time Olympic gold medal-winning hockey legend Balbir Singh Sr. has passed away. The 95 year old iconic hockey player breathed his last on 25th May, 2020. Under his stewardship, India won gold medal in men’s hockey in three Olympic Games. The greatness of Balbir Singh Sr. could be measured from the fact that, his world record for most goals scored by an individual in men’s hockey final of the Olympics, still remains unbeaten. BSNLEU pays it’s respectful homage to the great Hockey Icon.

The AUAB leaders met Shri Ajit Kumar Bhutan, Rajya Sabha member, Assam, today and submitted the memorandum. The leaders sought the intervention of the Rajya Sabha member in the early launching of BSNL’s 4G service as well as the speedy implementation of the Revival Package. The MP assured to the needful.
The last date for submission of memorandum to the Hon’ble MPs has been changed. Now the memorandum will be submitted to the Hon’ble MPs before 30.11.2017. A copy of the memorandum will be circulated within a day or two. All circle and district secretaries are requested to make note of this and arrange to submit the memorandum to the Hon’ble MPs, in coordination with all unions and associations.
The meeting of the Designations Committee has been scheduled to be held at 11:00 AM tomorrow. However, Corporate Office has intimated that the meeting is postponed due to administrative reasons.
The AUAB, Madhya Pradesh circle, conducted March to Raj Bhawan, in the route permitted by the police. A meeting took place between the Governor of Madhya Pradesh and memorandum was submitted. Com.G.L.Jogi, Senior leader, SNEA, who was present in Bhopal, participated. Memorandum was handed over to Her Excellency Governor , Smt Anandi Ben Patel in Governor House, Bhopal. Com G L Jogi, Com Prakash Sharma, CS, BSNLEU, Com Dutta Majumdar, CS, SNEA and Com Parvez, CS, AIBSNLEA were in the delegation. Governor patiently heard our issue and discussed with delegation for almost 15 minutes.
Leaders of the AUAB, Kerala circle, met Ms. Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, DoT today at Thiruvananthapuram. They submitted a memorandum to her, demanding financial support to BSNL, to rebuild it’s infrastructure devastated in the floods. They also demanded settlement of 3rd pay revision, pension revision, Pension Contribution on actual basic pay, allotment of 4G spectrum, and rolling back of the Subsidiary Tower Company. CGM, Kerala and other top officers of Kerala circle were also there in the meeting. The Secretary, DoT gave a patient hearing and assured to look into the issues.
Shri Ananth Kumar, Union Minister, has passed away early today morning. He was 59 years old and has been affected with cancer. The death of Shri Ananth Kumar has created a vacuum in the political space of Karnataka state, as was as at the All India level. BSNLEU deeply condoles the death of Shri Ananth Kumar and offers it’s heartfelt condolences to his family members and friends.
BSNLEU ने वेतन से काटी गई राशि संबंधित संस्था/एजेंसी को प्रेषित न किए जाने के संबंध में CMD BSNL को पत्र लिखा....
विगत कुछ महीनों से कर्मचारियों के वेतन से काटी गई राशि संबंधित संस्थाओं/एजेंसीज को प्रेषित नही की जा रही है। इसमें GPF, बैंक लोन, सोसाइटी बकाया, HBA, EPF, LIC, इनकम टैक्स, PLI, आदि की राशि शामिल है। विभिन्न संस्थाओं/एजेंसीज को समय पर किश्त का प्रेषण नही होने से, कर्मचारियों को दंडात्मक ब्याज (penal interest) देने के लिए बाध्य होना पड़ रहा है। BSNLEU द्वारा इस मुद्दे पर CMD BSNL से चर्चा की जा चुकी है। पुनः BSNLEU ने इस संबंध में CMD BSNL को पत्र लिखा है।
AUAB की मीटिंग ने 05.04.2019 को आयोजित मार्च टू संचार भवन की तैयारी की समीक्षा की...
आज दिनांक 25.03.2019 को NFTE BSNL के कार्यालय में AUAB की मीटिंग सम्पन्न हुई। BSNLEU, NFTE, SNEA, AIBSNLEA, BSNL OA, BSNL MS, AIGETOA और BSNL ATM के प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए। मीटिंग की अध्यक्षता कॉम चंदेश्वर सिंह,चेयरमैन, AUAB और GS, NFTE BSNL की। मीटिंग में 05.04.2019 को आयोजित किए जाने वाले आगामी मार्च टू संचार भवन कार्यक्रम की तैयारी की समीक्षा की गई। सभी यूनियन्स व एसोसिएशन्स ने कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने वाले सदस्यों की संभावित संख्या से अवगत कराया। मीटिंग में एक पोस्टर बनाने का भी निर्णय लिया गया, जिसे सभी सर्कल्स को प्रसारित करने हेतु प्रेषित किया जाएगा। मीटिंग में यह भी निर्णय लिया गया कि AUAB के लीडर्स सभी राजनीतिक दलों से संपर्क कर उनसे उस दिन उपस्थित कर्मचारियों को संबोधित करने का अनुरोध करेंगे। यह भी तय किया गया कि AUAB के सभी महासचिव/ AUAB के प्रतिनिधि मैनेजमेंट द्वारा FR 17A के तहत की गई दमनात्मक कार्यवाही के विरोध में 27.03.2019 को CMD BSNL से मिलेंगे।
Com. P. Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri Sheetla Prasad, Director (CM) today. The General Secretary enquired about the status of the issue of allotment of 4G spectrum to BSNL and also about the current financial position of the Company. Since Shri Sheetla Prasad is also informally looking after the responsibilities of the Director (HR), the General Secretary discussed in detail about the recent direction of the Corporate Office to retrench contract workers. He pointed out that the decision will severely affect the quality of the services and demanded to review the decision.
As a part of the General Strike being organised tomorrow the 08-01-2020, the CHQ calls on the circle and district unions to organise protest demonstrations also. These demonstrations should be utilised to express our opposition to the pro-corporate and anti-worker policies of the Narendra Modi government. The demands of the strike should also be highlighted. Circle and District unions are requested to organise both the General Strike and the demonstrations effectively. Report and photos may be sent to the CHQ immediately.

The AUAB leaders of Kannur District, Kerala circle, submitted the memorandum to Shri K.K. Ragesh, Rajya Sabha member on 01.08.2020. The AUAB leaders explained the contents of the memorandum to the MP, who assured to do the needful.
In the meeting of the All Unions and Associations of BSNL, held today, it is decided that the strike notice for the two day strike to be held on 12th & 13th December, 2017, will be served on the CMD BSNL and the Secretary, DoT, on 23.11.2017.
The AUAB, Maharashtra conducted an impressive dharna at Azad Maidan, Mumbai, on 19-04-2018. Permission was denied to conduct March to Raj Bhawan. After observing the dharna, the representatives of the AUAB submitted the memorandum in the Governor's office.
The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, to be held at Ghaziabad on 06th & 07th April, 2019, is taking place at a time when BSNL is in a serious crisis, seriously impacting the future of it’s employees.
