केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संयुक्त मंच ने अखिल भारतीय हड़ताल की तैयारी करने का आह्वान किया।

यह पहले से ही ज्ञात है कि केंद्र सरकार चार नए श्रम संहिताओं को लागू करने की कोशिश कर रही है, जो मजदूर विरोधी और कॉर्पोरेट समर्थक हैं। ये नए चार श्रम संहिताएं 29 श्रम कानूनों के स्थान पर लाई जा रही हैं, जिन्हें आजादी के बाद मजदूर वर्ग के जुझारू संघर्षों और बलिदानों के परिणामस्वरूप लागू किया गया है। चार नए श्रम संहिताओं को लागू करके, केंद्र सरकार ट्रेड यूनियन आंदोलन को कुचलना चाहती है और ट्रेड यूनियनों द्वारा सभी हड़ताल कार्रवाइयों को रोकना चाहती है। केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संयुक्त मंच ने 06.01.2025 को नई दिल्ली में अपनी बैठक आयोजित की और गंभीर चिंता के साथ कहा कि, केंद्र सरकार चार श्रम संहिताओं को लागू करने के लिए सभी प्रयास कर रही है, केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों द्वारा उनका विरोध करने के विभिन्न संघर्षों के बावजूद यह प्रयास किया जा रहा है। केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने पूरे मजदूर वर्ग से चार श्रम संहिताओं को रोकने के लिए हड़ताल सहित गंभीर संघर्षों के लिए तैयार रहने का आह्वान किया है। केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने अखिल भारतीय हड़ताल आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है, जिसकी तिथि की घोषणा उचित समय पर की जाएगी। BSNLEU संयुक्त मंच का हिस्सा है और केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के आह्वान को लागू करेगा।

It is a known fact that, in the name of budget, the Central Government is giving big concessions to the big corporates every year, while imposing heavy burdens on the working masses. The year 1925 is born and one more budget is going to come. In this connection, Ms.Nirmala Sitaraman, Union Finance Minister, has held a consultation meeting with the Central Trade Unions on 06-01-2025. As we have already informed, the Central Trade Unions have strongly protested disinvestment and privatisation of the Public Sector Undertakings and also various Central Government services, such as the railways, defence, etc. It is a well-known fact that, this consultation meeting is only a formality. Severe blow for the working people and big concessions for the corporates are going to be announced in this year's budget also. Hence, the Joint Platform of Central Trade Unions has decided to call on the trade unions to organise protest demonstrations against the budget on 05-02-2025. The CHQ of BSNLEU calls on the circle and district unions to successfully organise this programme.

केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संयुक्त मंच ने ट्रेड यूनियनों से 05-02-2025 को बजट के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया।

यह सर्वविदित तथ्य है कि केंद्र सरकार हर साल बजट के नाम पर बड़े कॉरपोरेट्स को बड़ी रियायतें दे रही है, जबकि मेहनतकश जनता पर भारी बोझ डाल रही है। वर्ष 2025 का जन्म हो चुका है और एक और बजट आने वाला है। इस संबंध में, केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री सुश्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने 06-01-2025 को केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के साथ परामर्श बैठक की है। जैसा कि हम पहले ही बता चुके हैं, केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों और रेलवे, रक्षा आदि जैसी विभिन्न केंद्र सरकार की सेवाओं के विनिवेश और निजीकरण का कड़ा विरोध किया है। यह सर्वविदित तथ्य है कि, यह परामर्श बैठक केवल औपचारिकता मात्र है। इस वर्ष के बजट में भी मेहनतकश जनता को करारा झटका और कॉरपोरेट्स को बड़ी रियायतें मिलने वाली हैं। अतः केन्द्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संयुक्त मंच ने ट्रेड यूनियनों से 05-02-2025 को बजट के विरुद्ध विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है। BSNLEU के सीएचक्यू ने सर्किल एवं जिला यूनियनों से इस कार्यक्रम को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है।

The platform of 10 Central Trade Unions met Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Finance Minister, yesterday, in connection with the pre-budget consultations. In the meeting, the Central Trade Unions have told  the Central Government to immediately roll-back the policies of privatisation, disinvestment and sale of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and government services to the private. They demanded that, the Central Government should address the unemployment issue, fill up sanctioned vacant posts in the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Government departments, lift the ban on creating new posts, end outsourcing and contractualisation of jobs, increase the number of days under MGNREGA to 200 days with the wage increase to Rs.600/- per day and launch a new Urban Employment Guarantee Policy.

10 केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के मंच ने सरकार से सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों और सरकारी सेवाओं को निजी हाथों में देने से रोकने को कहा।

10 केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के मंच ने कल बजट पूर्व विचार-विमर्श के सिलसिले में केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण से मुलाकात की। बैठक में केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने केंद्र सरकार से कहा कि वह सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों (पीएसयू) और सरकारी सेवाओं को निजी हाथों में देने, निजीकरण, विनिवेश और बेचने की नीतियों को तुरंत वापस ले। उन्होंने मांग की कि केंद्र सरकार बेरोजगारी के मुद्दे का समाधान करे, सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों (पीएसयू) और सरकारी विभागों में स्वीकृत रिक्त पदों को भरे, नए पदों के सृजन पर प्रतिबंध हटाए, नौकरियों की आउटसोर्सिंग और ठेकाकरण को समाप्त करे, मनरेगा के तहत दिनों की संख्या बढ़ाकर 200 दिन करे और मजदूरी बढ़ाकर 600 रुपये प्रतिदिन करे और नई शहरी रोजगार गारंटी नीति शुरू करे।

The New Indian Express has reported that, BSNL has lost 8.7 lakh customers in November, 2024, as per the TRAI report. The newspaper reports that, this is the biggest loss for BSNL since the private telecom companies raised their tariffs up to 25% in July 2024. Before the tariff increase by the private companies, BSNL was losing it’s customers heavily every month. But, after the tariff increase, BSNL started gaining customers. 21 lakh new customers came to BSNL in August, 2024, 11 lakh customers in September and 7 lakh customers in October, 2024. But, thereafter, BSNL has started losing customers heavily due to their dissatisfaction with BSNL's network. As per the TRAI report, Airtel has gained 19 lakh customers in October, 2024, but, Jio has lost 37 lakh customers.

खराब नेटवर्क के कारण बीएसएनएल को बड़ी संख्या में मोबाइल ग्राहक खोने पड़ रहे हैं - न्यू इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्ट।

न्यू इंडियन एक्सप्रेस ने बताया है कि टीआरएआई की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, नवंबर 2024 में बीएसएनएल को 8.7 लाख ग्राहक खोने पड़े है। अखबार की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, जुलाई 2024 में निजी टेलीकॉम कंपनियों द्वारा अपने टैरिफ में 25% तक की बढ़ोतरी के बाद से बीएसएनएल को यह सबसे बड़ा नुकसान है। निजी कंपनियों द्वारा टैरिफ बढ़ाने से पहले बीएसएनएल को हर महीने भारी मात्रा में ग्राहक खोने पड़ रहे थे। लेकिन टैरिफ बढ़ाने के बाद बीएसएनएल को ग्राहक मिलने लगे। अगस्त 2024 में बीएसएनएल के पास 21 लाख नए ग्राहक आए, सितंबर में 11 लाख ग्राहक और अक्टूबर 2024 में 7 लाख ग्राहक जुड़े। लेकिन इसके बाद बीएसएनएल के नेटवर्क से असंतुष्टि के कारण बीएसएनएल को भारी मात्रा में ग्राहक खोने पड़ रहे हैं। टीआरएआई की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अक्टूबर 2024 में एयरटेल को 19 लाख ग्राहक मिले हैं, लेकिन जियो को 37 लाख ग्राहक खोने पड़े हैं।

BSNLEU's letter, written to the CMD BSNL on 30-12-2024, opposing second VRS in BSNL, has become a sensational news in the national media in our country. Most of the mainstream English newspapers wrote prominent articles, giving wide coverage to BSNLEU's letter opposing second VRS. Newspapers like The New Indian Express, Business Line, The Economic Times (Telecom) Financial Express have given wide coverage to BSNLEU's letter, and have discussed BSNLEU's views exhaustively. Apart from this, many regional newspapers like Deshabhimani(Malayalam), Dinamani(Tamil) have also written articles echoing BSNLEU's views, opposing second VRS. We can say, India's national media has agreed with the views that the flawed policies of the government, clubbed with managerial inefficiency are the root cause for the present problems of BSNL. In this connection,  Deccan Herald, which is a leading English newspaper in the south has also written a prominent article giving wide coverage to BSNLEU's letter. We hereunder reproduce Deccan Herald's article dated 31st December,2024. BSNLEU heartily thanks the national media for giving wide coverage to BSNLEU's views, opposing second VRS in BSNL.

BSNLEU के बीएसएनएल में दूसरे वीआरएस का विरोध करने वाले पत्र को व्यापक कवरेज देने के लिए  BSNLEU राष्ट्रीय मीडिया का हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त करता है।

Time and again, BSNLEU is drawing the attention of the Management about the inordinate delay in the signing the Wage Revision agreement of the Non-Executives. In the whole year of 2024, only 2 meetings of the Joint Committee for Wage Revision has taken place. Due to the illness of Shri R.K. Goyal, Chairman of the Joint Committee,  holding of the Wage Revision talks was delayed. There after Shri Saurab Tyagi PGM(Rectt. & Trng.)  was appointed as the Chairman of the Joint Committee. However, Shri Saurabh Tyagi has also gone on voluntary retirement (VR) on 03-01-2025. Under these circumstances, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director(HR) today, requesting him to take early steps for the appointment of the new Chairman for the Joint Committee for Wage Revision, so that the Wage Revision talks can be held early.

BSNLEU द्वारा नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतन संशोधन समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर में अत्यधिक देरी के बारे में प्रबंधन का ध्यान बार-बार आकर्षित किया जा रहा है। वर्ष 2024 के पूरे वर्ष में वेतन संशोधन के लिए संयुक्त समिति की केवल 2 बैठकें हुई हैं। संयुक्त समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री आर.के. गोयल के अस्वस्थ होने के कारण वेतन संशोधन वार्ता में देरी हुई। तत्पश्चात श्री सौरभ त्यागी, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (भर्ती एवं प्रशिक्षण) को संयुक्त समिति का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया। हालांकि श्री सौरभ त्यागी भी 03-01-2025 को स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति (वीआर) पर चले गए हैं। इन परिस्थितियों में BSNLEU ने आज निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखकर वेतन संशोधन के लिए संयुक्त समिति के नए अध्यक्ष की नियुक्ति के लिए शीघ्र कदम उठाने का अनुरोध किया है, ताकि वेतन संशोधन वार्ता शीघ्र हो सके। 

The enthusiastic Circle Conference of BSNL Casual Contract Workers Federation (BSNLCCWF), Chennai Telephones Circle, is held today. Around 50 contract workers spiritedly participated in this conference. Com.A. Pasha Begum, Circle Vice President, BSNLEU, presided over the conference. Com.Sridharasubramian, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, welcomed everyone and explained that, the conference is being organised as per the direction of the All India Union of BSNLCCWF. Com.S. Chellappa, AGS, delivered the inaugural address of this conference. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU & President, BSNLCCWF, addressed the conference and spoke in detail about the problems being faced by the contract and casual workers, the efforts being taken by BSNLCCWF and BSNLEU to redress their grievances. He criticised the economic policies of the government as per which more and more works of the Public Sector Undertakings are being outsourced, exposing the workers to the exploitations of the contractors. He assured the contract workers who participated in the meeting that, BSNLCCWF and BSNLEU will find a solution to the burning problems of the contract and casual workers. A good number of contract workers participated in the discussion and explained about the problems being faced by them. Finally, Com.P.Abhimanyu, replied to the issues raised by the comrades. Important organisational decisions were taken to strengthen  BSNLCCWF in Chennai circle. Election of office bearers is held unanimously.

Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Rectt. & Trng.), who is also Chairman of the Joint Committee for Wage Revision has gone on Voluntary Retirement yesterday the 03.01.2025. He has applied for Voluntary Retirement some months back. We expected that, he may reconsider his decision to go on VR, but that did not happen. The retirement of Shri Saurabh Tyagi, has necessitated appointment of a new Chairman for the Joint Committee for Wage Revision, which will naturally cause some delay in the Wage Revision talks. BSNLEU will try it’s best to ensure that a new Chairman is appointed expeditiously for the Joint Committee for Wage Revision, so that the  Wage Revision agreement could be signed without further delay.  

News is appearing in the media, as well as in WhatsApp groups, stating that BSNL’s 2nd VRS is put on hold and will not be implemented. Only around 2 weeks ago, the BSNL Board of Directors took decision to implement 2nd VRS in BSNL and to cut down 35% of the employees. Immediately, the decision of the BSNL Board of Directors is sent to the DoT also.This decision of the Board of Directors has not been cancelled and it still stands. Reliable sources say that, BSNL Board of Directors took this decision, as per the direction of the Hon’ble Minister of Communications. Now, all of a sudden, news is being spread that, VRS will not be implemented. We have every reason to believe that, this news is being spread to divert the attention of the employees. BSNLEU strongly believes that, government wants to cut down the strength of BSNL employees not to improve the financial condition of the Company but for the purpose of future privatisation. There is need for the employees, as well as the unions and associations of BSNL, to stiffly oppose the 2nd VRS. BSNLEU, under the banner of the Coordination Committee, has already organised demonstrations on 25.10.2024 and dharna on 27.11.2024, in which “no 2nd VRS” is an important demand. BSNLEU will try to mobilise all the unions and associations to organise common agitational programme to oppose VRS.  

दूसरे वीआरएस के बारे में भ्रामक जानकारी - BSNLEU ने कर्मचारियों से सतर्क रहने का आह्वान किया।

मीडिया के साथ-साथ व्हाट्सएप ग्रुपों में भी खबरें आ रही हैं कि बीएसएनएल के दूसरे वीआरएस को रोक दिया गया है और इसे लागू नहीं किया जाएगा। लगभग 2 सप्ताह पहले ही बीएसएनएल के निदेशक मंडल ने बीएसएनएल में दूसरे वीआरएस को लागू करने और कर्मचारियों की संख्या में 35% की कटौती करने का निर्णय लिया था। बीएसएनएल के निदेशक मंडल के निर्णय को तुरंत दूरसंचार विभाग को भी भेज दिया गया। निदेशक मंडल के इस निर्णय को रद्द नहीं किया गया है और यह अभी भी कायम है। विश्वसनीय सूत्रों का कहना है कि बीएसएनएल के निदेशक मंडल ने यह निर्णय माननीय संचार मंत्री के निर्देशानुसार लिया है। अब अचानक यह खबर फैलाई जा रही है कि वीआरएस लागू नहीं किया जाएगा। हमारे पास यह मानने का पूरा कारण है कि कर्मचारियों का ध्यान भटकाने के लिए यह खबर फैलाई जा रही है। BSNLEU का दृढ़ विश्वास है कि सरकार बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों की संख्या में कटौती करना चाहती है, कंपनी की वित्तीय स्थिति में सुधार करने के लिए नहीं बल्कि भविष्य में निजीकरण के उद्देश्य से। कर्मचारियों के साथ-साथ बीएसएनएल के यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों को दूसरे वीआरएस का कड़ा विरोध करने की आवश्यकता है। समन्वय समिति के बैनर तले BSNLEU ने पहले ही 25.10.2024 को प्रदर्शन और 27.11.2024 को धरना आयोजित किया है, जिसमें "दूसरा वीआरएस नहीं" एक महत्वपूर्ण मांग है। BSNLEU वीआरएस का विरोध करने के लिए आम आंदोलन कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने के लिए सभी यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों को संगठित करने का प्रयास करेगा।

Two installments of DAs became due for the casual labourers and the TSMs in 2024, which was not paid by the Management.  BSNLEU took up this issue by writing letters. This issue was discussed it with the CMD BSNL and the Director (HR). Consequent to this, Management has paid these two installments of DAs in the salary for the month of December, 2024. An amount of Rs.7,000/- is also paid as DA arrears to the casual labourers and the TSMs. BSNLEU sincerely thanks the CMD BSNL and the Director (HR).

केज़्युअल मजदूरों और टीएसएम को महंगाई भत्ते की दो किस्तों का भुगतान।

केज़्युअल मजदूरों और टीएसएम को 2024 में महंगाई भत्ते की दो किस्तें मिलनी थीं, जिनका प्रबंधन द्वारा भुगतान नहीं किया गया। BSNLEU ने पत्र लिखकर इस मुद्दे को उठाया। इस मुद्दे पर सीएमडी बीएसएनएल और निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) से चर्चा की गई। इसके परिणामस्वरूप प्रबंधन ने दिसंबर, 2024 के वेतन में महंगाई भत्ते की इन दो किस्तों का भुगतान कर दिया है। केज़्युअल मजदूरों और टीएसएम को महंगाई भत्ते के बकाए के रूप में 7,000/- रुपये की राशि का भी भुगतान किया गया है। BSNLEU सीएमडी बीएसएनएल और निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) का तहे दिल से शुक्रिया अदा करता है।
