भुवनेश्वर में ओडिशा सर्कल का सफल सम्मेलन आयोजित। 

BSNLEU, एआईबीडीपीए और बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ, ओडिशा सर्कल की समन्वय समिति द्वारा आयोजित सर्कल स्तरीय सम्मेलन 04.02.2024 साथी शरत महंती की अध्यक्षता में भुवनेश्वर में आयोजित किया गया था। आरंभ में साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल के लिए पुष्पांजलि और दो मिनट का मौन रखा गया। BSNLEU के सर्कल सचिव साथी जे. कामेश्वर राव ने सभी का स्वागत किया और 16 फरवरी की हड़ताल सहित सम्मेलन के मुद्दों पर बात की। साथी प्रदीप्त नायक, राज्य सचिव, सीआईटीयू एवं साथी अनिमेष मित्रा, अध्यक्ष, BSNLEU और महासचिव, बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ ने 16-02-2024 को एक दिवसीय हड़ताल को सफल बनाने की आवश्यकता पर विस्तार से बात की। साथी ए. धुपाल, उपाध्यक्ष, एआईबीडीपीए (सीएचक्यू), साथी प्रवंजन पाणिग्रही, सर्कल सचिव, एआईबीडीपीए, साथी पी.के. नायक, सर्कल अध्यक्ष, एआईबीडीपीए और साथी बिश्वनाथ बेहरा सर्कल सचिव, बीएसएनएलसीसीएमएफ ने भी सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया। 

The CoC of Maharashtra, Circle organised a magnificent Convention at Pune today. Com.M.I.Jakati, CS, AIBDPA and Chairman, CoC, presided over and delivered the presidential address. Com. Ganesh Hinge, CS, BSNLEU and Convener, CoC, welcomed everyone and initiated the discussion. Pensioners and BSNL employees attended the convention from all over Maharashtra circle. The convention is addressed by Com. P.Abhimanyu, GS, Com.N.K. Nalawade, VP (CHQ),  BSNLEU & Circle President and Com. Yusuf Hussain, CS, BSNLCCWF. The leaders explained in detail about the demands and the circumstances in which the strike is being organised. They appealed to the employees to enmasse join the strike.

The CHQ of BSNLEU is extremely saddened to hear that Com. Sahadev Biswal, veteran trade union leader of Odisha circle passed away today morning. Com. Sahadev Biswal has served BSNLEU, in the capacities of All India Vice-President, Organising Secretary and also as the Circle President of Odisha circle. Together with Com. P.R.Das and Com. A.Dhupal, Com.Sahadev Biswal has immensely contributed for the growth and strengthening of BSNLEU in Odisha circle. He had been unwell for a long time and had been undergoing treatment. He breathed his last at KIMS Hospital in Bhuvaneshwar today morning. Com.Sahadev Biswal will ever remain in our hearts. The ever smiling face of comrade Sahadev Biswal will always remain in the hearts of our comrades. The CHQ of BSNLEU, dips its banner and pays its respectful homage to Com.Sahadev Biswal. The CHQ also conveys its heart heartfelt condolences to the family members and comrades of Odisha Circle.

BSNLEU का सीएचक्यू यह सुनकर बेहद दुखी है कि ओडिशा सर्कल के अनुभवी ट्रेड यूनियन नेता साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल का आज सुबह निधन हो गया। साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल ने अखिल भारतीय उपाध्यक्ष, आयोजन सचिव और ओडिशा सर्कल के सर्कल अध्यक्ष के रूप में भी BSNLEU की सेवा की है। साथी पी.आर.दास और साथी ए.धूपाल के साथ साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल ने ओडिशा सर्कल में BSNLEU के विकास और मजबूती के लिए बहुत योगदान दिया है। वह काफी समय से बीमार थे और उनका इलाज चल रहा था। उन्होंने आज सुबह भुवनेश्वर के केआईएमएस अस्पताल में अंतिम सांस ली। साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल हमेशा हमारे दिलों में रहेंगे। साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल का सदैव मुस्कुराता चेहरा हमारे साथियों के दिलों में हमेशा रहेगा। BSNLEU के सीएचक्यू ने अपना बैनर झुकाया और साथी सहदेव बिस्वाल को अपनी सम्मानजनक श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। सीएचक्यू ओडिशा सर्कल के सभी साथियों और परिजनों के प्रति अपनी हार्दिक संवेदना व्यक्त करता है।

The Coordination Committee of Karnataka circle organised an enthusiastic Convention at Bengaluru today. Comrades participated from all districts of Karnataka circle. Com.Muddaiah, Chairman, CoC, presided over. Com.C.K. Gundanna, CP & AGS, BSNLEU, Com.H.C. Prakash, AGS, AIBDPA and Com.Irfan Pasha, Treasurer (CHQ), BSNLEU, were present on the dais. Com.H.V. Sudharshan, Convenor, welcomed every one. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the Convention and explained elaborately about the non-settlement of the issues of Wage Revision, Pension Revision, New Promotion Policy, etc. The roadblocks created by the Government in BSNL’s 4G & 5G launching, the sufferings created by the “Restructuring of Manpower”, the pro-corporate National Monetisation Pipeline and the anti-worker Labour Codes, were also explained by the GS. He called upon the employees to fully participate in the One Day Strike to be held on 16.02.2024 and to make the strike a grand success. The participants enthusiastically responded to the GS and assured to organise a successful strike.

The Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, NE1 circle, organised a successful convention in Shillong on 31st January 2024. The Convention was presided over by Com. Satyajit Deb, circle Secretary, AIBDPA. Com. Shivji Ray, CS, BSNLEU, delivered the welcome speech and explained about the need for organising one day stike on 16th Feb, 2024. Com. Edward Lynshing, General Secretary, MJCTU&A gave a valuable speech. Com. Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU CHQ, addressed the convention and spoke elaborately on the demands of Wage Revision, Stagnation, New promotion Policy, 4G/5G, Restructuring Review and various other issues. Finally, Com. M V Mawkhiew, VP, BSNLEU, NE-I Circle emphasised the need for organising the strike successfully and proposed vote of thanks.

The Central Secretariat meeting of BSNLEU held on 18.01.2024, has taken decision to organise One Day Strike on 16.02.2024, demanding settlement of the most burning problems of non-settlement of Wage Revision, Stagnation, denial of 4G & 5G services to BSNL, implementation of a New Promotion Policy, conducting TT LICE, JE LICE, JTO LICE and JAO LICE with sufficient vacancies and other demands. In accordance with the decision of the Central Secretariat, the General Secretary has issued strike notice to the CMD BSNL and Secretary, Telecom today, for going on One Day Strike on 16.02.2024. Copy of the strike notice is enclosed for the information of our comrades.

As per the call of the CoC, Circle Convention was organised at Ernakulam on 30.01.2024. More than 300 comrades attended the convention. AIBDPA Circle Secretary and CoC chairman Com.N.Guruprasad, presided over the Convention. Com. M.Vijayakumar, CS, BSNLEU, welcomed all. CITU National Secretary Com.K.Chandran Pillai inaugurated the convention, The Anti people and Anti PSU policies of the Central Government was explained in detail. He also mentioned about the struggles of the working class to safeguard the Public Sector of the Country. The convention is also addressed by Com.K.G. Jayaraj,GS, AIBDPA, Veteran leader Com.V.A.N. Mohanan, Circle President, AIBDPA, Com.R. Muraleedharan Nair, AGS, AIBDPA and Com.M.G.S. Kurup, All India Treasurer, AIBDPA. Com.P.A. Babu, DS, BSNLEU proposed vote of thanks. The Convention decided to implement the programs called by the CoC and to make the Feb 16th strike a big success.

On 30.01.2024, a successful circle level convention of the Coordination Committee of West Bengal circle was held at Siliguri with massive mobilisation from 5 districts of North Bengal. Com. Bipul Chakraborty, Senior leader of AIBDPA presided over. Com. Goutam Ghosh Dist Secretary CITU and Com. Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU, addressed the convention. They highlighted how the Modi government is destroying the Public Sector. Com. Animesh Mitra called upon the workers to join the strike on 16th February, demanding settlement of Wage Revision and other burning problems.

The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, Assam, conducted State Level Convention yesterday the 30^th January, 2024 under the presidentship of Com. M. R. Das chairman coordination committe, Assam at Multipurpose Hall, Guwahati. Com. M. R. Das initiated discussion and explained about the purpose of conducting the convention. Veteran trade Union leader Com. Satanjit Das, Com. Gargo Talukdar, Joint Convenor, JCTU, Assam, Com. S. N. Sarma CS, AIBDPA, Com. Bijoy Deka, CS, BSNLEU, Com. Prasanta Baruah, Organising, secretary, BSNLEU, Com. Sankar Kr. Das, Convenor JEPRP and many other comrades addressed the convention. More than 180 comrades participated in the convention. Votes of thanks was offered by Com. Siddique Ali. The convention decided to massively campaign for the success of the one-day strike.

The BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) is holding online Committee meeting at 07:00 pm on 03.02.2024. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, will be participating in this meeting. Com.K.N. Jyothilakshmi, Convenor, BSNLWWC, has issued the notification for this meeting.

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग विमेन्स को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) *03.02.2024 को शाम 07:00 बजे* ऑनलाइन समिति की बैठक आयोजित कर रहा है। इस बैठक में साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव भाग लेंगे। साथी के.एन. ज्योतिलक्ष्मी, बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसी की संयोजक ने इस बैठक के लिए अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। 

As per the call of the CoC, a spirited Convention was organised at Hyderabad today. A large number of comrades attended the convention. Com.J.Sampath Rao, AGS & Circle President, hoisted the Union Flag and presided over the Convention. Com.G. Sambasivarao, CS, BSNLEU, welcomed everyone. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the Convention. The issues of non-settlement of Wage Revision, denial of timely launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G, the need to implement the New Promotion Policy, sufferings of the employees due to massive abolition of the posts in the name of “Restructuring”, non-settlement of Pension Revision, sufferings of the contract workers, etc., were explained by the General Secretary. He criticised the policies of the government through which the Public Sector is being weakened for the benefits of the big corporates. He emphatically called on the employees to massively join the 16th February strike and make it a total success. The convention is also addressed by Com. Ramachandradu, CS, AIBDPA, Com.B.Paripurnachari, CS, BSNLCCWF, Com.M.Thirmalacharyulu, President,  BSNLCCWF, Com.D.Shankar, Vice president, CHQ, AIBDPA, Com. B.R.Veeraswamy, President,  AIBDPA and Com.M.Susheelkumar, ACS, BSNLEU. In the post lunch session, BSNLEU conducted its extended circle executive committee meeting and discussed about the ways and means of strengthening the organisation.

The Haryana circle Convention was successfully organised at Rohtak, yesterday the 29.01.2024. Com.Ramkumar Gujjar, Circle President, presided over. Com.M.S. Kadian, Circle Secretary, welcomed all the comrades and explained the background of the Convention. From the CHQ of BSNLEU, Com.Aswhin Kumar, Organising Secretary, addressed the Convention. He explained in detail about the sufferings of the employees due to non-settlement of Wage Revision and the crisis faced by BSNL due to denial of 4G & 5G. He also explained about the discriminations faced by Non-Executives in the matter of promotions. Com.Aswhin Kumar, bitterly criticised the policies of the Government, which favour the corporates and betray the working masses. He urged upon the employees to successfully organise the strike to be held on 16.02.2024.  

As per the call of the CoC, a rousing Convention was organised at Salem on 27.01.2024. The Salem District Union of BSNLEU, under the leadership of Com.E. Gopal, DS, had made excellent arrangements. Around 400 comrades attended the Convention. Com.R. Rajasekhar, CS, AIBDPA and Chairman, CoC, presided over. Com.P. Raju, CS, BSNLEU and Convenor, CoC, delivered the welcome address. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the Convention and spoke at length on the issues of non-settlement of Wage Revision, denial of timely launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G, Pension Revision, New Promotion Policy and the unmindful abolition of posts in the name of “Restructuring”. He also explained the anti-worker and pro-corporate policies of the Government and urged upon the employees to massively participate in the strike on 16^th February, 2024. Com.S.Chellappa, AGS, BSNLEU, Com.S. Mohandas, Vice President, AIBDPA and Com.Idris, Circle Secretary, BSNLCCWF, addressed the Convention.  The Non-Executives who participated in the Convention resolved to make the 16^th Feb. strike a resounding success. 

तमिलनाडु सर्कल ने सेलम में एक उत्साहपूर्ण कन्वेंशन का आयोजन किया।

सीओसी के आह्वान के अनुसार, 27.01.2024 को सेलम में एक उत्साहपूर्ण कन्वेंशन का आयोजन किया गया। कॉम.ई. गोपाल, डीएस के नेतृत्व में बीएसएनएलईयू की सेलम जिला यूनियन। ने उत्कृष्ट व्यवस्था की थी।  कन्वेंशन में लगभग 400 साथियों ने भाग लिया। कामरेड आर. राजशेखर, सीएस, एआईबीडीपीए और अध्यक्ष, सीओसी ने अध्यक्षता की। कॉम.पी. राजू, सीएस, बीएसएनएलईयू और संयोजक, सीओसी ने स्वागत भाषण दिया। कॉमरेड पी.अभिमन्यु, जीएस, ने कन्वेंशन को संबोधित किया और वेतन संशोधन के गैर-निपटान, बीएसएनएल के 4जी और 5जी को समय पर लॉन्च करने से इनकार, पेंशन संशोधन, नई पदोन्नति नीति और पदों को बिना सोचे-समझे  "पुनर्गठन" का नाम पर समाप्त करने के मुद्दों पर विस्तार से बात की। उन्होंने सरकार की कर्मचारी-विरोधी और कॉर्पोरेट-समर्थक नीतियों के बारे में भी बताया और कर्मचारियों से 16 फरवरी, 2024 की हड़ताल में बड़े पैमाने पर भाग लेने का आग्रह किया। कॉम.एस.चेलप्पा, एजीएस, बीएसएनएलईयू, कॉम.एस. एआईबीडीपीए के उपाध्यक्ष मोहनदास और बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ के सर्कल सचिव कॉमरेड इदरीस ने  कन्वेंशन को संबोधित किया। कन्वेंशन में भाग लेने वाले गैर-कार्यकारियों ने 16 फरवरी की हड़ताल को शानदार ढंग से सफल बनाने का संकल्प लिया।

The CNTX (North) administration has transferred Shri S.C. Ramola, Assistant Circle Secretary, BSNLEU. Shri S.C. Ramola is covered by the Corporate Office instructions on immunity from transfer. Hence, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR) today, requesting for his intervention to ensure that whimsical transfers are not implemented in CNTX(North) Circle. 

BSNLEU is continuously taking up the issues related to the proper implementation of Government orders on SC/ST reservation in BSNL. Recently, BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL, pointing out that, DoP&T orders are not being implemented in BSNL with regards to conducting various LICEs of the Non-Executives. Particularly, the DoP&T orders say that, own merit candidates among SC/ST employees should not be adjusted against SC/ST quota posts. The matter is discussed with the Director (HR) twice. Thereafter, Com.P.Abhimnyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL twice. Even thereafter, the issue is not settled. Hence, BSNLEU wrote to the National Commission for SC and the National Commission for ST, complaining about the non-implementation of Government orders on SC/ST reservation in BSNL. Based on this, the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes has issued notice to the CMD BSNL on 24.01.2024, directing him to submit explanation within 30 days.

Chennai circle union of BSNLEU conducted its Extended Circle Executive Committee meeting on 25-01-2024. As a part of this, a very effective convention of the working women is also held. Com. A.Pasha Begum, Circle Vice President, presided over the convention. Com. B. Rajasundari, convenor of the BSNL Working Women’s Coordination Committee (BSNLWWCC), welcomed everyone and initiated the discussion. She explained how BSNLEU organised protests against atrocities committed on women in Manipur and against the sexual harassments on women wrestlers. Com. N. Meena, Com.K.B. Kavitha, Com.K. Nalini Elan, Com.V Rukmini, Com. A.Inbaselvi, Com. N.Geetha(AIBDPA), Com. Vidhya, S. Rao and Com.R. Shobana participated in the deliberations and expressed their views about the conditions of the working women in Chennai circle. They thanked BSNLEU for the support being extended to them by the circle union. Com. M. Sridhara Subramanian recollected BSNLEU’s fight against sexual harassments on women employees in Ludhiana. He also explained about the measures being taken by BSNLEU in Chennai circle, to safeguard the interests of the women employees. Finally, Com.P Abhimanyu, General Secretary, addressed and explained about the issues of the BSNL working women, being taken up by BSNLEU at the All India level. He also explained how BSNLEU is taking steps to safeguard the dignity of women employees. He called upon the members of BSNLEU to fight against the discriminations being meted out to women in work places, as well as in the society. CHQ congratulates the Chennai circle union for organising this successful working women’s convention.
