The Circle Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, Karnataka circle, was held at Bengaluru yesterday and today. Com.C.K. Gundanna, Circle President, presided over the meeting. Com.H.V. Sudharshan, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the report on activities. All the Circle Executive Committee members participated in the deliberations. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the morning session of the Executive Committee meeting today. He explained about the functioning of the Central Head Quarters, issues settled by the CHQ during the COVID-19 pandemic period, the recent settlement reached between the AUAB and the BSNL Management. In the post lunch session, the General Secretary addressed a largely attended Seminar on the National Monetisation Pipeline. He explained how the valuable national assets of the country are being handed over to the big corporates at cheap rates. He also explained about the attacks being launched by the Modi government on the public sector, the pro-corporate policies of the government, etc. He called upon the employees of Karnataka to fully participate in the two day strike to be held in February, 2022, as per the call of the Central Trade Unions.

A National Convention of workers was held at Jantar Mantar today. In view of the COVID-19 restrictions, it was held with limited delegation. All the Presidents of the 10 Central Trade Unions presided over the Convention. General Secretaries / leaders of the Central Trade Unions, including Com.Ashok Singh (INTUC), Com.Amarjeet Kaur (AITUC), Com.H.S. Sidhu (HMS) and Com.Tapan Sen (CITU), addressed the Convention. 

The leaders bitterly criticised the privatisation of the public sector, National Monetisation Pipeline, New Labour Codes, Pro-corporate Farm Acts, attacks on the democratic and civil rights, etc. The Convention has given call to organise demonstrations on 26^th November, 2021, marking the completion of one year of Kisans' struggle. It has also called on for organising state level joint conventions, joint meeting of public sector unions and intensive campaign at the grass-root level, for successfully organising the two day General Strike, to be organised in February, 2022, during the Budget Session of the Parliament.

वेतन वार्ता समिति-Wage Negotiation Committee की मीटिंग दिनांक 18.11.2021 को आयोजित की जाएगी ।

बीएसएनएल निगम कार्यालय-BSNL Corporate Office ने वेतन वार्ता समिति-Wage Negotiation Committee की मीटिंग आयोजित करने की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। तदनुसार यह मीटिंग *दिनांक 18.11.2021 को सुबह 11.00* बजे होगी ।बीएसएनएलईयू-BSNLEU का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाली वेतन वार्ता समिति के सभी सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि वे मीटिंग में अवश्य उपस्थित रहें । 

नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स-Non Executives- की वेतन वार्ता समिति-Wage Negotiation Committee का पुनर्गठन-Reconstitution किया गया।

दिनांक 27.10.2021 को हुई मीटिंग में एयूएबी-AUAB और सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल-CMD BSNL बीच हुए समझौते-agreement के अनुसार नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स-Non Executives के लिए वेतन वार्ता समिति-Wage Negotiation Committee का पुनर्गठन-Reconstitution किया गया है। बीएसएनएल कोरपोरेट कार्यालय-BSNL Corporate Office की एसआर शाखा-SR Branch ने समिति-Committee का पुनर्गठन-Reconstitution करते हुए पत्र जारी कर दिया है। बीएसएनएलईयू, केरल सर्कल के सर्कल सेक्रेटरी साथी सी. संतोश कुमार-Com. C. Santosh Kumar, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, Kerala Circle को बीएसएनएलईयू-BSNLEU के प्रतिनिधि मंडल में शामिल किया गया है। वेतन वार्ता समिति के पुनर्गठन ने नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतन संशोधन-Wage Revision में व्याप्त गतिरोध को तोड़ दिया है । एयूएबी-AUAB के नेतृत्व में बीएसएनएल-BSNL की यूनियनों-Unions और असोशिएशन्स-Associations के लिए यह महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है।

The BSNL Corporate Office has issued notification for holding a meeting of the Wage Negotiation Committee. Accordingly, the meeting will take place at 11:00 hrs. on 18.11.2021. All members of the Wage Negotiation Committee, representing BSNLEU, are requested to attend the meeting without fail. 

As per the agreement reached between the AUAB and the CMD BSNL, in the meeting held on 27.10.2021, the Wage Negotiation Committee for the Non-Executives has been reconstituted. The SR Branch of the BSNL Corporate Office has issued the letter, reconstituting the Committee. Com.C. Santhosh Kumar, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, Kerala circle, has been included in the nominees of BSNLEU. The reconstitution of the Wage Negotiating Committee has broken the stalemate that prevailed in the Wage Revision of the Non-Executives. This is the significant achievement for the unions and associations of BSNL, under the leadership of the AUAB.

The Circle Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, Punjab circle, is being held at Chandigarh today. Com.Balwinder Singh, Vice President, is presiding over the meeting. Com.H.S.Dhillon, circle secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the report on activities. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, delivered the inaugural address of the meeting. In his speech, the General Secretary explained about the recent settlement reached between the AUAB and the Management. He explained about the functioning of BSNLEU, the agitations being organised under the banner of the Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF. The General Secretary bitterly criticised the National Monetisation Policy and called upon the Executive Committee members to fully implement the call of the Co-ordination Committee to campaign against the NMP.

Country wide demonstrations are successfully organised today, opposing the National Monetisation Pipeline. The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, has given call for this programme. BSNL employees, pensioners and contract workers have participated in this programme in large numbers. Some of the views of the demonstrations are given below.

In the talks held between the AUAB and the Directors of BSNL Board, it has been assured that, the first meeting of the reconstituted Wage Negotiation Committee would be held after Diwali.  Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Ms. Anita Johri, Sr.GM(SR) today and discussed the probable dates on which the meeting can be conducted. In the discussion, the General Secretary requested the Sr.GM(SR) to hold the meeting next week. 

As regards holding various LICEs for the Non-Executives, the Directors of BSNL Board have assured that, general notifications would be issued by 30^th November, 2021. So far as the Non-Executives are concerned, these general notifications are to be issued by the Establishment Branch of the Corporate Office. Hence, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri Saurabh Tyagi, Sr.GM(Estt.), today and discussed the issue. He requested the Sr.GM(Estt.) to take the needful steps for issuing the notifications by 30^th November, 2021. The Sr.GM(Estt.) replied positively and told that he is already on the job.

वरिष्ठ ट्रेड यूनियन नेता साथी वी. सुब्बुरामन, जनरल सेक्रेटरी, टेपू-Com. V. Subburaman, General Secretary, TEPU का निधन हो गया।

वरिष्ठ ट्रेड यूनियन नेता और Telecom Employees Progressive Union के महासचिव साथी वी. सुब्बुरामन का आज चेन्नई में निधन हो गया है । वह पिछले कई सालों से कैंसर के खिलाफ जूझ रहे थे।  साथी सुब्बुरामन एक ईमानदार, समर्पित और निस्वार्थ नेता थे, जिन्होंने ट्रेड यूनियन आंदोलन में अपना पूरा जीवन योगदान दिया था । बीएसएनएल की यूनियनों और संघों की एकता को मजबूत करने में उनके योगदान को हमेशा याद किया जाएगा। बीएसएनएलईयू-BSNLEU साथी सुब्बुरामन को श्रद्धांजलि देता है और उनके परिवार, सभी साथियों और दोस्तों के प्रति हार्दिक संवेदना प्रकट करता है ।

Veteran trade union leader and General Secretary of Telecom Employees Progressive Union (TEPU), Com.V. Subburaman, passed away at Chennai today. He had been battling against cancer for the past several years. Com.V.Subburaman was a honest, dedicated and selfless leader, who had contributed his entire life to the trade union movement. His contributions in strengthening the unity of the unions and associations of BSNL, will always be remembered. BSNLEU pays it’s respectful homage to Com.V. Subburaman and conveys it’s heartfelt condolences to his family, comrades and friends.

The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, has prepared a pamphlet against the “National Monetisation Pipeline”. This pamphlet is to be widely circulated among the employees. The CHQ will print the pamphlet in English and Hindi. The non-Hindi speaking circle unions are requested to translate and print the pamphlet in the regional languages and distribute the same among to the employees.

राष्ट्रीय मुद्रीकरण पाइपलाइन-National Monetisation Pipeline के खिलाफ लड़ाई करें । सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से अनुरोध है कि वे हर संभव प्रयास करें।

दिनांक 17.10-2021 को आयोजित की गई बीएसएनएलईयू-BSNLEU की ऑनलाइन सीईसी मीटिंग-Online CEC Meeting में राष्ट्रीय मुद्रीकरण पाइपलाइन-National Monetisation Pipeline के खिलाफ कर्मचारियों को पूरी तरह से लामबंद करने का आह्वान किया गया है । बीएसएनएलईयू-BSNLEU, एआईबीडीपीए-AIBDPA और बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ-BSNLCCWF की समन्वय समिति-Coordination Committee ने कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है।  इसके अनुसार *दिनांक 09.11.2021 को विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित किए जाने हैं ।* कर्मचारियों के साथ-साथ जनता के बीच सर्कल और जिला स्तरीय सम्मेलनों-Circle and District level Conventions और हस्ताक्षर अभियान-Signature Campaigns का आयोजन भी किया गया है ।  पहले कदम के रूप में, सीएचक्यू-CHQ ने सभी सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से दिनांक 09-11-2021 को आयोजित होने वाले विरोध प्रदर्शन-Protest Demonstrations में अधिकतम संख्या में कर्मचारियों-Employees, पेंशनभोगियों-Pensioners और केज़्यूल और ठेका कर्मियों-Casual and Contract Workers को जुटाने के लिए तत्काल प्रयास करने का आह्वान किया है । इसके अलावा, अब से हस्ताक्षर अभियान-Signature Campaign और सम्मेलनों-Conventions को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करने के लिए अधिकतम प्रयास भी किए जाने चाहिये । 

The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, held online on 17.10.2021, has called on to fully mobilise the employees against the National Monetisation Pipeline. The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, has decided to organise a series of programmes.  According to this, protest demonstrations are to be organised on 09.11.2021. Holding of circle and district level conventions and signature campaign among the employees, as well as the public, have also been called on.  As the first step, CHQ calls upon all the circle and district unions to take immediate efforts for mobilising maximum number of employees, pensioners, and the casual & contract workers in the demonstration to be held on 09.11.2021.  Further, from now onwards, maximum efforts may also be taken for successfully organising the signature campaign and the conventions.

जेटीओ एलआईसीई-JTO LICE के परिणामों की घोषणा न करना और चाइल्ड केयर लीव -Child Care Leave का लाभ उठाने में लगाए गए अनुचित प्रतिबंध : पंजाब सर्कल-Punjab Circle का मामला।

साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, जनरल सेक्रेटरी-Com. P. Abhimanyu, General Secretary  ने आज सीनियर जनरल मेनेजर(एस्ट), श्री सौरभ त्यागी-Shri Saurabh Tyagi, Senior General Manager (est) से बात की और निम्नलिखित दो मुद्दों की ओर उनका ध्यान आकर्षित किया  : 

*(अ) पंजाब सर्कल-Punjab Circle में जेटीओ एलआईसीई -JTO LICE परिणामों की घोषणा न करना* ।

*(ब)पंजाब सर्कल-Punjab Circle में चाइल्ड केयर लीव (सीसीएल)-Child Care Leave(CCL) का लाभ उठाने में लगाए गए अनुचित प्रतिबंध ।*

जनरल सेक्रेटरी ने सीनियर जनरल मेनेजर (एस्ट) को बताया कि पंजाब सर्कल में जेटीओ एलआईसीई परिणाम घोषित न करने के संबंध में निदेशक (एचआर)-Director(HR) और बीएसएनएलईयू-BSNLEU के बीच हुई औपचारिक बैठक-Formal Meeting में जो सहमति बनी है उसे लागू नहीं किया गया है । जनरल सेक्रेटरी ने यह भी शिकायत की कि अमृतसर जिले में चाइल्ड केयर लीव-Child Care Leave का लाभ उठाने के लिए अकारण प्रतिबंध लगाए जा रहे हैं, जो डीओपी एंड टी-DoP&T के आदेशों का उल्लंघन है । सीनियर जनरल मेनेजर ने आश्वासन दिया कि दोनों मुद्दों पर शीघ्रता से आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
