दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती किए गए और प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजे गए लेकिन उन्हें बीएसएनएल कर्मचारी द्वारा भर्ती के रूप में माना गया - इस संबंध में माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश का कार्यान्वयन -  BSNLEU ने सचिव, दूरसंचार को पत्र लिखा।

बीएसएनएल के गठन से पहले बड़ी संख्या में कर्मचारियों की भर्ती की गई और उन्हें डीओटी द्वारा प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजा गया। हालाँकि, उनका प्रशिक्षण पूरा होने से पहले, बीएसएनएल का गठन किया गया था और उन सभी कर्मचारियों को बीएसएनएल रिक्रूट्स के रूप में माना गया था। इस प्रकार, उन्हें प्रेसिडेंशियल ऑर्डर जारी नहीं किए गए थे और वे जीपीएफ द्वारा कवर नहीं किए गए थे। BSNLEU ने बार-बार सीएमडी बीएसएनएल और सचिव, दूरसंचार को पत्र लिखकर इस मुद्दे को उठाया। इस बीच प्रभावित कर्मचारी कोर्ट चले गये। कई माननीय सीएटी-CAT और माननीय उच्च न्यायालयों ने कर्मचारियों के पक्ष में आदेश दिया। हालाँकि, डीओटी के निर्देश के अनुसार, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपील की। 26.07.2023 को हुई सुनवाई में, माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने बीएसएनएल द्वारा दायर अपील (एसएलपी) को खारिज कर दिया। यह उन सैकड़ों कर्मचारियों के लिए बहुत बड़ी जीत है जिन्हें न्याय से वंचित रखा गया है। इसके परिणामस्वरूप, BSNLEU ने आज सचिव, दूरसंचार को पत्र लिखा है, जिसकी प्रतिलिपि सीएमडी बीएसएनएल और निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को भी भेजी है, जिसमें भर्ती किए गए सभी कर्मचारियों के संबंध में माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश को तत्काल लागू करने की मांग की गई है जो कर्मचारियों को डीओटी द्वारा प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजा गया था और बीएसएनएल भर्ती के रूप में माना गया था।

Nearly 16.4 lakh customers have left BSNL in June, 2023 quarter. This is informed by Shri Devusinh Chauhan, Minister of State for Communications in a written reply in Lokh Sabha. The Hon’ble MoS(C) has also stated that, nearly 2.77 lakh customers ported into BSNL during this period. According to the reply given by the Minister, about 65.8 lakh customers have left BSNL during the period from April, 2022 to March, 2023.

The 39^th  National Council meeting is being held on 07.08.2023. As a prelude to this, a meeting of the Staff Side of the National Council will be held on 06.08.2023. This Staff Side meeting will be held at NFTE’s office (MS-II, Q. No. 21 & 17, Atul Grove Road, New Delhi – 110001). The meeting will start sharply at 03:00 pm. All Staff Side members of the National Council are requested to kindly attend this meeting without fail.

BSNLEU and the BSNL Working Women's Coordination Committee  (BSNLWWCC) called on the employees to organise protest demonstrations throughout the country today, to protest against the atrocities being heaped on women and also demanding the Central Government to immediately take action to restore peace in Manipur. The Central Government should take all out efforts to immediately restore peace in Manipur.

CITU, All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) and All India Agricultural Workers Union (AIAWU) have organised protest actions on 25.07.2023, condemning the brutal sexual violence against women in Manipur and also demanding the Central Government to take immediate action for restoring peace in Manipur. At Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, the State level organisations of all the Central Trade Unions viz., INTUC, AITUC, HMS, AIUTUC, TUCC, AICCTU, SEWA, LPF, MEC, ICTU, have also joined the protest action and expressed their condemnations over the Central Government’s failure to contain violence in Manipur. CITU, AIKS and AIAWU have issued a joint statement in this connection, which is enclosed herewith.

सीआईटीयू, अखिल भारतीय किसान सभा (एआईकेएस) और अखिल भारतीय कृषि श्रमिक संघ (एआईएडब्ल्यूयू) ने 25.07.2023 को पूरे देश में विरोध प्रदर्शन का आयोजन किया है, जिसमें मणिपुर में महिलाओं के खिलाफ क्रूर यौन हिंसा की निंदा की गई है और केंद्र सरकार से मणिपुर में शांति बहाल करने के लिए तत्काल कार्रवाई करने की मांग की गई है। नई दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर सभी केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों जैसे आईएनटीयुसी, एआईटीयूसी, एचएमएस, एआईयूटीयूसी, टीयूसीसी, एआईसीसीटीयू, एसईडब्ल्यूए, एलपीएफ, एमईसी, आईसीटीयू के राज्य स्तरीय संगठन भी विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल हुए और मणिपुर में हिंसा रोकने में केंद्र सरकार की विफलता पर कड़ी निंदा की। सीआईटीयू, एआईकेएस और एआईएडब्ल्यूयू ने इस संबंध में एक संयुक्त बयान जारी किया है, जो इसके साथ संलग्न है।

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has issued minutes of it’s meeting, for the selection of Director (HR) of BSNL. According to the minutes, the PESB meeting was held yesterday the 25.07.2023, for interviewing the applicants for the post of Director (HR), BSNL. The minutes states that, Dr.Kalayan Sagar Nippani is selected as the Director (HR) of BSNL.

पब्लिक एंटरप्राइज़िस सिलेक्शन बॉर्ड (पीईएसबी) ने बीएसएनएल के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के चयन के लिए अपनी बैठक के मिनट्स जारी किए हैं। मिनट्स के अनुसार बीएसएनएल के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) पद के लिए आवेदकों के साक्षात्कार के लिए कल 25.07.2023 को पीईएसबी की बैठक आयोजित की गई थी। मिनट्स में कहा गया है कि डॉ. कल्याण सागर निप्पानी को बीएसएनएल के निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के रूप में चुना गया है।

The CHQ of BSNLEU and the BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) have already given call to organise lunch hour demonstrations on 27.07.2023, protesting against the atrocities committed against women in Manipur and also demanding the Central Government to immediately restore peace in Manipur. Circle and District unions of BSNLEU are requested to coordinate with BSNLWWCC and to organise lunch hour demonstrations successfully on 27.07.2023. It has already been informed that the next meeting of the National Council will be held on 07.08.2023. Yesterday, the Corporate Office has issued the necessary notification for holding this meeting.

The Central Executive Committee, and the All India Centre of BSNLEU are repeatedly stressing upon the need to educate the young comrades, with the view to strengthen our Union. In this connection, a two day class was organised at New Delhi last year, in connection with the 75^th anniversary of Indian Independence. In continuation of this, the CHQ is organising one more class for the young comrades of the Hindi speaking circles. This class will be organised at New Delhi on 09^th & 10^th September, 2023. Considering the language problem, separate class will be organised for the young employees of the non-Hindi speaking circles soon. The CHQ will discuss with the circle secretaries of the Hindi speaking circles and will finalise the list of participants for the class to be held in September.

BSNLEU की केंद्रीय कार्यकारी समिति और अखिल भारतीय केंद्र बार-बार हमारे यूनियन को मजबूत करने की दृष्टि से युवा साथियों को शिक्षित करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दे रहे हैं। इसी सिलसिले में पिछले वर्ष नई दिल्ली में भारतीय स्वतंत्रता की 75वीं वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष्य में दो दिवसीय क्लास का आयोजन किया गया था। इसी क्रम में सीएचक्यू हिंदी भाषी सर्कल के युवा साथियों के लिए एक और क्लास का आयोजन कर रहा है। यह क्लास 09 एवं 10 सितंबर, 2023 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित की जाएगी। भाषा की समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए गैर-हिंदी भाषी सर्कल के युवा कर्मचारियों के लिए जल्द ही अलग क्लास का आयोजन किया जाएगा। सीएचक्यू हिंदी भाषी सर्कलों के सर्कल सचिवों के साथ चर्चा करेगा और सितंबर में आयोजित होने वाली क्लास के लिए प्रतिभागियों की सूची को अंतिम रूप देगा।

The All India Centre of BSNLEU has decided to hold an Extended meeting of the BSNLWWCC, at New Delhi, on 2nd and 3rd September, 2023. Apart from the All India Committee members of the BSNLWWCC, all the Circle Convenors of the BSNLWWCC shall also attend this meeting. Notification for this meeting will be issued shortly . All the circle secretaries are requested to kindly ensure that the All India Committee members of the BSNL WWCC, as well as the convenors of the BSNLWWCC, attend this meeting without fail.

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वीमेंस को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) की अखिल भारतीय विस्तारित बैठक 2 और 3 सितंबर, 2023 को नई दिल्ली में होगी।

It is known to the entire world that, the state of Manipur is burning for more than 2 months now. Unprecedented violence and atrocities against women are taking place. However, the Central Government has not taken any meaningful step to put down violence. It is very significant to note that, the Supreme Court of India has stated that, “ the grossest violation of the Constitution and human rights” is taking place in Manipur. The Supreme Court has further told the government that, it would be compelled to take action to control violence in Manipur, if the Central Government does not take any action. Considering all the factors, BSNLEU and the BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) have decided to call on the employees to organise lunch hour demonstrations on 27.07.2023, demanding the Central Government to :-

(a)    Stop the atrocities against women in Manipur.

(b)   Take immediate steps to put down violence and to restore peace in Manipur.

The CHQ of BSNLEU calls on the circle and district unions of BSNLEU and also the circle and district units of BSNLWWCC to mobilise the maximum number of comrades in the demonstrations and to make it a grand success.

यह बात पूरी दुनिया जानती है कि मणिपुर राज्य पिछले 2 महीने से ज्यादा समय से जल रहा है। महिलाओं के विरुद्ध अभूतपूर्व हिंसा एवं अत्याचार हो रहे हैं। हालाँकि, केंद्र सरकार ने हिंसा को कम करने के लिए कोई सार्थक कदम नहीं उठाया है। यह ध्यान रखना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है कि भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने कहा है कि "संविधान और मानवाधिकारों का सबसे बड़ा उल्लंघन" मणिपुर में हो रहा है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सरकार से आगे कहा है कि अगर केंद्र सरकार कोई कार्रवाई नहीं करती है तो वह मणिपुर में हिंसा को नियंत्रित करने के लिए कार्रवाई करने के लिए मजबूर होगी। सभी बातों पर विचार करते हुए BSNLEU और बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वीमेंस को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) ने कर्मचारियों से 27.07.2023 को दोपहर के भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान करने का निर्णय लिया है, जिसमें केंद्र सरकार से मांग की गई है : 

(A) मणिपुर में महिलाओं के खिलाफ अत्याचार बंद करो।

(B) मणिपुर में हिंसा को कम करने और शांति बहाल करने के लिए तत्काल कदम उठाएं।
