छूट गये हुए ड्राफ्ट्समैन (सिविल / इलेक्ट्रिकल / टेलीकॉम) जिनके पास अपेक्षित शैक्षिक योग्यता है के लिए एक और जेटीओ परीक्षा आयोजित करें :- BSNLEU ने निदेशक (एचआर) को लिखा है।

2008 में  ड्राफ्ट्समैन (सिविल / इलेक्ट्रिकल / टेलीकॉम), जिनके पास अपेक्षित शैक्षिक योग्यता थी, को 50% कोटा में जेटीओ (सिविल / इलेक्ट्रिकल) परीक्षा में उपस्थित होने की अनुमति दी गई थी। नेशनल काउंसिल की 26वीं और 28वीं बैठकों में प्रबंधन ने BSNLEU की उस मांग को स्वीकार कर लिया था, जिसमें छूट गये हुए ड्राफ्ट्समैन सिविल/इलेक्ट्रिकल/टेलीकॉम के लिए एक और जेटीओ परीक्षा आयोजित करने की मांग को स्वीकार किया था। हालांकि नेशनल काउंसिल के इस फैसले को लागू नहीं किया गया है। BSNLEU पहले ही इस मुद्दे को कई बार उठा चुका है। एक बार फिर BSNLEU ने आज निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखकर नेशनल काउंसिल के निर्णय को लागू करने की मांग की है।

कल दोपहर के भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शनों का आयोजन - वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे पर AUAB का आह्वान ।

एयूएबी ने एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स और नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को तीसरे वेतन संशोधन के निपटारे की मांग करते हुए आंदोलनात्मक कार्यक्रमों की एक श्रृंखला आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है। इस आंदोलन का पहला चरण कल 27-05-2022 को हो रहा है। तदनुसार, सभी स्थानों पर मध्याह्न भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शनों का आयोजन किया जाना है। BSNLEU के सर्कल और जिला सचिवों से अनुरोध किया जाता है कि वे एयूएबी के अन्य यूनियन और एसोसिएशन के साथ समन्वय करें और भोजन अवकाश दरम्यान प्रदर्शन को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करें। कृपया CHQ को रिपोर्ट और फ़ोटो भेजें।

The AUAB has given call to organise a series of agitational programmes, demanding settlement of 3rd Pay Revision to the Executives and 3rd Wage Revision to the Non-Executives. The first phase of this agitation is taking place tomorrow the 27.05.2022. Accordingly, Lunch Hour Demonstrations are to be organised in all places. The circle and district secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to coordinate with other unions and associations of the AUAB and to organise this Lunch Hour Demonstrations successfully. पंजाब सर्कल में जेटीओ एलआईसीई परिणामों की घोषणा में अनुचित देरी :-महासचिव ने कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में पीजीएम (estt) के साथ मामले पर चर्चा की।

पंजाब सर्कल में JTO LICE परिणामों की घोषणा न करने के मुद्दे पर साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, आज श्री सौरभ त्यागी, पीजीएम (estt) के साथ चर्चा की । महासचिव ने कहा कि JTO LICE के उम्मीदवार पूरी तरह से निराश हैं, क्योंकि यह मामला बहुत लंबे समय से चल रहा है। पीजीएम (estt) ने जवाब दिया कि अदालत के आदेश के कारण पंजाब सर्कल में JTO LICE परिणाम घोषित नहीं किए जा सके। उन्होंने आगे बताया कि JTO LICE परिणाम घोषित करने के लिए न्यायालय की अनुमति की मांग करने वाली बीएसएनएल द्वारा दायर याचिका पर कैट चंडीगढ़ में न्यायाधीश की कमी के कारण सुनवाई नहीं हो रही है। दो जजों की जगह सिर्फ एक ही जज है। पीजीएम ने आगे कहा कि उन्होंने पिछले सप्ताह भी जीएम एचआर, पंजाब सर्कल के साथ इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की थी।

JE LICE और TT LICE आयोजित करने के बारे में महासचिव ने पीजीएम (Estt.) के साथ चर्चा की है ।

BSNLEU लगातार मांग कर रहा है कि JE LICE और TT LICE तुरंत आयोजन किया जाना चाहिए। इस मुद्दे पर आज कारपोरेट कार्यालय में श्री सौरभ त्यागी, पीजीएम (estt) के साथ महासचिव साथी पी. अभिमन्यु ने चर्चा की। पीजीएम (estt) ने उत्तर दिया कि जहां तक JE LICE का संबंध है सर्किलों को पहले ही विवरण प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया जा चुका है और कुछ सर्किलों ने अभी भी इसे नहीं भेजा है। महासचिव ने आग्रह किया कि TT LICE भी अविलंब संचालित किया जाए।

बीएसएनएल कोविड फंड समिति के निर्णय।

बीएसएनएल कोविड फंड (बीसीएफ) समिति की आज एक बैठक आयोजित की गई। इसमें साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने भाग लिया। बैठक में कोविड पीड़ितों के परिवारों को अब तक दी गई राहत का जायजा लिया गया। कोविड फंड में कर्मचारियों का योगदान 11 करोड़ रुपये है। इसी प्रकार बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन का अंशदान भी 11 करोड़ रुपये है। इस प्रकार कोविड फंड में कुल 22 करोड़ रुपये की राशि एकत्रित की गई है। दिनांक 31-03-2022 तक 238 कर्मचारियों की मृत्यु हो चुकी है।  इसमें से 220 कर्मचारियों के परिवारों को प्रत्येक परिवार को 10 लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि प्रदान की गई है। इस प्रकार, एकत्र की गई निधि लगभग समाप्त हो गई है। इसलिए आज की बैठक में 18 और कर्मचारियों के परिवारों को दी जाने वाली राहत के बारे में चर्चा हुई। निम्नलिखित निर्णय सर्वसम्मति से लिए गये हैं :-

1. 18 कोविड पीड़ितों के परिवारों को राहत, जो 1.8 करोड़ रुपये है, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन द्वारा वहन किया जाएगा।
2. बीसीएफ समिति ने बीसीएफ नीति की अवधि को दिनांक 31-03-2023 तक बढ़ाने का भी निर्णय लिया है ।
3.  जहां तक भविष्य में होने वाली मृत्यु के मामले में भुगतान की जाने वाली राहत का संबंध है, यह निर्णय लिया जाता है कि बीसीएफ समिति तिमाही आधार पर बैठक करेगी और यह निर्णय लेगी कि भुगतान कैसे

BSNLEU is continuously demanding that, the JE LICE and TT LICE should be conducted immediately. This issue was discussed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, with Shri Saurabh Tyagi PGM (Estt.) in the Corporate Office today. The PGM (Estt.) replied that, as regards the JE LICE, circles have already been directed to furnish the details and that, some circles have still not sent the same. The General Secretary urged that the TT LICE should also be conducted without delay.

The issue of non-declaration of the JTO LICE results in Punjab circle, was discussed by Com.P. Abhimanyu, GS, today, with Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Estt.). The General Secretary expressed that, the candidates of the JTO LICE are totally frustrated, since the case is dragging on for a very long time. The PGM(Estt.) replied that, the JTO LICE results could not be declared in Punjab circle, due to the court order. He further told that, the petition filed by BSNL, seeking the permission of the Court for declaring the JTO LICE results,  is not coming up for hearing because of the shortage of judge in CAT Chandigarh. There is only one judge in the place of two judges. The PGM further stated that, he had discussed the issue with the GM HR, Punjab circle, even last week.

A meeting of the BSNL Covid Fund (BCF)Committee is held today. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, participated in it. The meeting took stock of the relief extended so far, to the families of Covid victims. The employees contribution to the Covid fund is 11 crore. Similarly the BSNL Management’s contribution is also Rs.11 crore. Thus the total amount collected in the Covid Fund was Rs.22 crore. 238 employees have died up to 31-03-2022.  Out of this, the families of 220 employees have been provided with relief at Rs. 10 lakh to each family. Thus, the fund collected is almost exhausted. Hence discussion took place in today’s meeting, about the relief to be paid to the families of 18 more employees. The following decisions are taken unanimously:-

1. The relief to the families of 18 Covid victims, which comes to Rs.1.8 crore, shall be borne by the BSNL Management.

2. The BCF Committee also decided to extend the period of the BCF policy up to 31.03.2023.

3. As regards the relief to be paid  in the case of future deaths, it is decided that, the BCF Committee would meet on quarterly basis and will decide how the payment is to be made.

The AUAB has called for agitational programmes for the settlement of Wage Revision and other burning issues of the Executives and Non-Executives of BSNL. The AUAB has called on to organise lunch hour demonstrations on 27.05.2022. The circle secretaries of the constituents of the AUAB, Telangana circle, have met at the AIGETOA office at Hyderabad today and discussed about organising the programme successfully. The CHQ of BSNLEU appreciates the leaders of Telangana circle for taking serious steps to implement the calls of the AUAB.

The BSNL Management has notified to hold a meeting of the BSNL Covid Fund (BCF) tomorrow. The BSNL Covid Fund, which was created from the contribution of one day salary from the employees and the equal amount of contribution from the BSNL Management, is reportedly exhausted. Tomorrow’s meeting will discuss and decide about fund generation for the pending / future Covid deaths.

The two day Circle Conference of BSNLEU, Gujarat circle, started at Junagadh yesterday the 22.05.2022. The National Flag was hoisted by Com.G.S. Rai, Vice President and the Union Flag hoisted by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS. A good number of delegates from all the districts of Gujarat circle are enthusiastically participating in this conference. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, delivered the inaugural address. In his speech, the General Secretary explained about the important issues taken up and settled by BSNLEU, during the past 3 years. He also explained about the efforts being taken by the Union on the issues of Wage Revision, stagnation, the need for a new Promotion Policy, medical facility, etc. The General Secretary spoke in detail, how the anti-BSNL steps taken by the government has retarded the revival of the Company including the launching of 4G service. The privatisation of public sector and the handing over of the national assets to the big corporates, in the name of National Monetisation Pipeline was severely criticised by the General Secretary. He emphatically told that, the working people of this country should not be divided in the name of religion, language, region, caste, etc. The General Secretary’s speech was well received by the audience. In the evening, the open session is held, addressed by Shri Sandeep Savarkar, CGM, Gujarat, Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, Com.D.K. Bakutra, CS and Com.M.K. Dave, Secretary, Staff Side, Circle Council. The delegate’s session is taking place today.

वेतन संशोधन के लिए आंदोलन - AUAB ने बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी और सचिव, दूरसंचार को अधिसूचना जारी की।

एयूएबी ने पहले ही वेतन संशोधन के निपटारे के लिए आंदोलनकारी कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने का निर्णय ले लिया है। एयूएबी ने आज बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी और दूरसंचार सचिव को एक विस्तृत पत्र जारी किया है, जिसमें आंदोलनकारी कार्यक्रमों को अधिसूचित किया गया है। पत्र में एयूएबी ने कहा है कि सरकार द्वारा लिए गए गलत फैसले बीएसएनएल के घाटे का कारण हैं और कर्मचारी इसके लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त यह भी बताया गया है कि कंपनी के शीर्ष प्रबंधकों अर्थात् सीजीएम, पीजीएम, जीएम को अपना वेतन पुन:निरीक्षण प्राप्त हो गया है जबकि कर्मचारियों को वेतन पुन:निरीक्षण नहीं मिला है। एयूएबी ने कहा है कि यह एक विषम स्थिति है और उसने सरकार से वेतन संशोधन को तुरंत निपटाने का अनुरोध किया है।  

The AUAB has already taken decision to organise agitational programmes for the settlement of Wage Revision. The AUAB has issued a detailed letter today, to the CMD BSNL and the Secretary, Telecom, notifying the agitational programmes. In the letter, the AUAB has stated that, the wrong decisions taken by the government are the reason for BSNL’s loss making and the employees are not responsible for it. Further, it is pointed out that the top Managers of the Company, viz., CGMs, PGMs, GMs, have got their pay revision while the employees did not get the pay revision. The AUAB has stated that this is an anomalous situation and has requested the government to immediately settle the Wage Revision.

BSNLEU ने नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स की महत्वपूर्ण समस्याओं पर चर्चा करने के लिए निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ औपचारिक बैठक की मांग की। 

BSNLEU नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों को बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी, निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) आदि के साथ लगातार उठा रहा है। तथापि, BSNLEU द्वारा उठाए जा रहे मुद्दों पर बहुत कम सुधार हुआ है। इन परिस्थितियों में, BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ औपचारिक बैठक की मांग की है। औपचारिक बैठक में कर्मचारियों के निम्नलिखित महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर चर्चा के लिए अधिसूचित किया गया है। 

1. बीएसएनएल के नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए एक नई पदोन्नति नीति का कार्यान्वयन।
2. अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्तियों पर लगाए गए प्रतिबंध में ढील देने की तत्काल आवश्यकता।
3. जेई एलआईसीई, जेएओ एलआईसीई, जेटीओ (ओएल) एलआईसीई, दूरसंचार तकनीशियन एलआईसीई और नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के अन्य एलआईसीई का आयोजन।
4. उन टीएसएम को प्रेसिडेंशियल ओर्डर जारी करने में अत्यधिक विलंब जिन्हें सीधे दूरसंचार तकनीशियनों के रूप में पदोन्नत किया गया था।
5. पात्र खेल कर्मियों को विशेष वेतन वृद्धि/पदोन्नति प्रदान न करना और कुछ कारपोरेट कार्यालय के अधिकारियों को गुप्त रूप से विशेष वेतन वृद्धि प्रदान करना।
6. नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को पासवर्ड प्रदान न करना।
7. डीआर जेई को नियम 8 के तहत स्थानांतरण से इनकार - उनकी पीड़ाओं को कम करने के लिए कार्रवाई करने का अनुरोध करना।
8. जेएओ भर्ती नियमों में कठोर शर्तें लागू करना।

केनरा बैंक और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने बीएसएनएल के साथ समझौता ज्ञापनों को नवीनीकृत करने से इनकार किया - BSNLEU की मांग है कि प्रबंधन को समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर करने के लिए अन्य राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंकों से संपर्क करना चाहिए। 

बीएसएनएल द्वारा केनरा बैंक और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के साथ हस्ताक्षरित समझौता ज्ञापन बहुत पहले ही समाप्त हो चुके हैं। केनरा बैंक और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया दोनों एमओयू के नवीनीकरण के लिए आगे नहीं आए हैं। इसका मुख्य कारण यह है कि पूर्व में बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने कर्मचारियों के वेतन से ईएमआई राशि की कटौती की थी, लेकिन बैंकों को समय पर इसे नहीं भेजा था। विभिन्न लोन न मिलने से कर्मचारियों को परेशानी हो रही है। BSNLEU ने इस मुद्दे पर कई बार बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी के साथ चर्चा की है। कल, BSNLEU ने बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी को पत्र लिखकर सुझाव दिया है कि बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन को कर्मचारियों को विभिन्न ऋणों के विस्तार के लिए समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर करने के लिए अन्य राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंकों से संपर्क करना चाहिए। 

1. पर्याप्त संख्या में रिक्त पदों के साथ जेटीओ एलआईसीई का आयोजन - महासचिव, BSNLEU ने सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल से समस्या के समाधान के लिए ठोस कदम उठाने की मांग की है। 

BSNLEU लगातार मांग कर रहा है कि दिनांक 07.08.2022 को आयोजित होने वाले जेटीओ एलआईसीई पर्याप्त संख्या में रिक्त पदों के साथ आयोजित किया जाना चाहिए। बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी श्री पीके पुरवार के साथ आज की बैठक महासचिव साथी पी.अभिमन्यु ने मांग की है कि 2021 के सीधी भर्ती कोटा से संबंधित पद जो लगभग 890 पदों पर आते हैं, को भी दिनांक 07.08.2022 को आयोजित होने वाले एलआईसीई के लिए डायवर्ट किया जाना चाहिए। इसके अलावा, महासचिव, BSNLEU ने बताया कि 11 सर्किलों में कोई रिक्त पद नहीं हैं और 9 और सर्किलों में केवल कुछ ही रिक्त पद उपलब्ध हैं। महासचिव, BSNLEU ने मांग की है कि प्रबंधन को एक उपयुक्त तंत्र विकसित करके इस समस्या का समाधान करना चाहिए। सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल ने धैर्यपूर्वक सुनवाई की और आश्वासन दिया कि प्रबंधन इस समस्या को हल करने के लिए सर्वोत्तम प्रयास करेगा।

2. खेल कर्मियों के कैरियर की प्रगति । 

BSNLEU प्रबंधन पर लगातार दबाव डाल रहा है और राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तरों पर उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले खेल कर्मियों को विशेष वेतन वृद्धि/पदोन्नति देने की मांग कर रहा है। विभिन्न सर्किल प्रशासनों ने पहले ही कॉरपोरेट कार्यालय को ऐसे मामलों की सिफारिश कर दी है। हालांकि, उन मामलों पर निर्णय लिए बिना कॉर्पोरेट प्रबंधन अब एक नई कैरियर प्रगति नीति पेश करने की कोशिश कर रहा है। आज की बैठक में महासचिव, BSNLEU ने दृढ़ता से मांग की है कि, किसी भी नई कैरियर प्रगति नीति को लागू करने से पहले सर्किलों द्वारा पहले से ही अनुशंसित सभी मामलों को पहले निपटाया जाना चाहिए।

3. उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्कल के सुल्तानपुर एसएसए के 17 कर्मचारियों के अनुग्रह राशि के भुगतान से दंड राशि की गैरकानूनी वसूली। 

BSNLEU ने पहले ही सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर यह उल्लेख किया है कि उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्कल में सुल्तानपुर एसएसए के 17 वीआरएस सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों की अनुग्रह राशि से दंडित राशि काट ली गई है। यह दंड राशि उस बीमा नवीकरण नहीं करने के कारण की गई है जो इन अधिकारियों द्वारा प्राप्त एचबीए के लिए ली जानी चाहिए थी। आज की बैठक में महासचिव, BSNLEU ने इस मुद्दे को उठाया। उन्होंने बताया कि इस समय दंडात्मक राशि में कटौती करने का कोई मतलब नहीं है, जब अधिकारियों ने पहले ही अपनी पूरी एचबीए राशि का भुगतान कर दिया था। बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी ने उत्तर दिया है कि इस मुद्दे को सीजीएम, उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) के साथ उठाया जाना चाहिए।

4. JE LICE, TT LICE, JAO LICE आदि आयोजित करें - महासचिव, BSNLEU ने CMD BSNL को बताया। 

BSNLEU बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन पर नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए जेई एलआईसीई, टीटी एलआईसीई, जेएओ एलआईसीई आदि आयोजित करने पर जोर दे रहा है। श्री पीके पुरवार, अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक बीएसएनएल और साथी पी अभिमन्यु, महासचिव के बीच हुई आज की बैठक में जेई एलआईसीई, टीटी एलआईसीई, जेएओ एलआईसीई आदि बिना किसी देरी के आयोजित करने के लिए शीघ्र कदम उठाने पर जोर दिया गया। उन्होंने इस बात पर भी जोर दिया कि प्रबंधन को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि इन एलआईसीई को पर्याप्त संख्या में रिक्ति पदों  के साथ आयोजित किये जाए। 

5. कुछ सर्किलों में पिछले 18 महीनों से ठेका श्रमिकों के वेतन का भुगतान नहीं किया गया ।

यह बताना घृणास्पद है कि प्रबंधन ने कुछ सर्किलों में पिछले 18 महीनों से ठेका श्रमिकों के वेतन का भुगतान नहीं किया है। BSNLEU लगातार इस मामले को उठा रहा है। श्री पीके पुरवार, सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल के साथ हुई आज की बैठक में साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने कहा कि पश्चिम बंगाल जैसे कुछ सर्किलों में पिछले 18 महीनों से वेतन का भुगतान नहीं किया गया है । यह मांग की गई है कि इस बकाया वेतन का भुगतान करने के लिए तत्काल कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। सीएमडी ने जरूरी कार्रवाई करने का आश्वासन दिया है । 

Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL, today and discussed the following issues.

1. Holding of the JTO LICE with sufficient number of vacancies – GS, BSNLEU, demands concrete steps to solve the problem.

BSNLEU is continuously demanding that, the JTO LICE to be held 07.08.2022 should be held with sufficient number of vacancies. In today’s meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU, demanded that, the posts belonging to the Direct Recruitment quota of 2021, which comes to around 890 posts, should also be diverted for the LICE to be held on 07.08.2022. Further, the GS, BSNLEU, pointed out that, there are no vacancies in 11 circles and that only a few vacancies in 9 more circles. The GS, BSNLEU, demanded that, the Management should address this problem by evolving a suitable mechanism. The CMD BSNL gave a patient hearing and assured that the Management would take best efforts to solve this problem.

2. Career Progression of sports personnel.

BSNLEU is continuously pressurising the Management, demanding to grant special increment / promotion to the sports personnel who have excelled at National and International levels. Various circle administrations have already recommended such cases to the Corporate Office. However, without taking decision on those cases, the Corporate Management is now trying to introduce a new Career Progression Policy. In today’s meeting, the GS, BSNLEU, strongly demanded that, all cases already recommended by the circles should be settled first, before implementing any new Career Progression Policy.

3. Unlawful recovery of penal amount from the ex-gratia payment of 17 officials of Sultanpur SSA of UP (East) circle.

BSNLEU has already written to the CMD BSNL, pointing out that, penal amount has been deducted from the ex-gratia payment of 17 VRS retirees of Sultanpur SSA, in UP (East) circle. This penal amount has been deducted for non-renewal of the insurance that should have been taken for the HBA availed by these officials. In today’s meeting the GS, BSNLEU, raised this issue. He pointed out that it makes no sense to deduct penal amount at this point of time, when the officials had already repaid their entire HBA amount. However, the CMD BSNL replied that, this issue should be taken up with the CGM, UP(East).  

4. Holding of the JE LICE, TT LICE, JAO LICE, etc.

BSNLEU is also insisting upon the BSNL Management to hold the other LICEs for the Non-Executives, like JE LICE, TT LICE, JAO LICE, etc. In today’s meeting, the General Secretary insisted the CMD BSNL to take early steps for holding the JE LICE, TT LICE, JAO LICE, etc., without further delay. 5. Non-payment of wages of the contract workers for the past 18 months in some circles.

It is disgusting to note that, the Management has not paid wages of the contract workers for the past 18 months in some circles. BSNLEU is continuously taking up this case. In today’s meeting with the CMD BSNL, the GS, BSNLEU, pointed out that wages are not paid for the past 18 months in some circles like West Bengal and demanded that, action should immediately be taken to make payment of this wage arrears. The CMD BSNL assured to do the needful.

The Sports and Cultural Board meeting was not conducted for many years. Recently, the General Secretary and Dy. General Secretary of BSNLEU, met Shri P.K. Consequent to the election of Com.John Verghese, as the Deputy General Secretary of BSNLEU, the All India Centre has decided to nominate Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, to the Wage Negotiating Committee, in the place of Com.Swapan Chakraborty, former Dy.GS.
